Chapter 114: Chapter 114

Lena’s POV

She lifted her eyes to him. The need inside her was already spilling over, wild and hard to hold back. If they had still been out there on the beach, she honestly didn’t know how far this would have gone.

He kissed her again. His hands cradled her face like she might vanish the second he let go.

Every reason she should have said no just slipped away. She closed her eyes, her mind going blank, her voice shaking when she spoke. "Dominic—"

"I’m here." His lips brushed her throat, and his hand slid along the curve of her waist, every touch leaving behind a wave of heat.

Her fingers tangled in his hair. Inside, she was fighting herself—part of her wanted to shove him away, and part of her wanted to drag him even closer.

The second part won. Completely.

"Is this okay?" she whispered.

"Do you want it?" His breath burned against her collarbone.

She took a slow breath and shut her eyes.

She did.

For weeks now, they had been circling this exact moment.

Every night that got cut short, every almost, every time one of them pulled back at the very last second.

She couldn’t wait anymore. She was done pretending this hunger wasn’t eating her alive.

She pulled him toward her, and he took that as his answer.

His mouth pressed to her neck. She arched into him, her nails dragging down his back, feeling each muscle tense under her hands and then loosen again.

His hands moved over her body—her waist, her hips, the backs of her thighs. He held her tight against him, and she could feel his cock through the thin layer of fabric, thick and burning hot against her lower belly.

She wrapped her legs around him and rolled her hips, and the sound that left him made her whole chest tremble.

When the last barrier between them was gone and their skin finally met, he stopped and looked at her.

His eyes were full of want, like he was asking for her permission one last time.

I kissed him.

His hand slid between my thighs, fingers brushing over hot, slick skin as he eased my legs apart.

I sucked in a sharp breath. His thumb found my swollen clit, pressed lightly, then moved in slow circles until my hips jolted up on their own.

A moan slipped out of me with his name tangled inside it. "Dominic..."

Then he pushed into me, slow and steady. I grabbed his shoulders hard, spreading my legs wider so he could go deeper.

My body met every thrust without thinking. He found my hands, pinned them above my head, our fingers lacing together tight.

I looked up at him through half-lidded eyes and thought, so this is what real feels like.

I held nothing back. Not my voice, not my body, not the way my nails raked down his back when the heat kept climbing higher and higher.

He didn’t hold back either. The restraint he’d worn for months like armor cracked apart, and what came out from underneath was wild—consuming, ruinous, impossible to stop.

He hooked one of my legs over his shoulder and drove even deeper, hitting a spot that made my whole mind go blank.

I cried out, my back arching off the mattress, fingers twisting into the sheets.

He didn’t slow down. Not even a little. He worked me with ruthless precision until the orgasm crashed through me so hard I clamped around him and dragged him right to the edge with me.

A rough, shaking groan tore from him as he buried himself fully inside me, his forehead pressing against my collarbone.

At some point, I started crying. Not from pain. From how intense it all was—the feeling, the emotion, the brutal hit of realizing I was in way deeper than I’d ever let myself admit.

I lost track of time. Lost track of myself. And when it was finally over, I just lay there, completely wrecked, every muscle trembling, my throat raw, my head all fogged out.

He pulled me against his chest, one arm locked around my waist, and I buried my face in the curve of his neck. I was out within seconds.

I had never slept that hard. No dreams. Nothing.

When I woke up, my whole body ached. My hand brushed over Dominic’s warm skin, and every memory from last night came rushing back like a tidal wave.

"You’re awake?" The second I moved, he was up too.

I tried to pull away, but he only held me tighter.

"Let go of me." She opened her mouth to say it, then froze.

What was wrong with her voice? It came out rough, like she’d swallowed sand—hoarse, sharp, almost painful to hear.

Dominic let her go at once. "Can you stand?"

Why couldn’t she stand?—

She kicked the blanket away, then yanked it right back over herself.

She wasn’t wearing anything. Of course she wasn’t. They had slept like that the whole night, skin against skin, his body wrapped tightly around hers.

In the split second the blanket slipped, he’d seen everything. The marks on her chest and stomach—red, pink, all of them his doing.

He got up first, then turned. Before she could even protest, he lifted her straight out of the bed and into his arms.

"Take a shower. You’ll feel better."

She wanted to argue, but she was already against his chest, her legs weak and useless, not even close to holding her up. He carried her into the bathroom, turned on water at just the right temperature, and carefully lowered her into it.

Warm water soaked into every aching muscle. "How does that feel?" he asked.

Her face went scarlet in a second. He’d asked her that last night too, only under very, very different circumstances.

Back then, she hadn’t answered either. She had only pulled him closer, wanting more, asking for more without a single word.

He caught the blush spreading across her cheeks and smiled.

"Soak for a bit. If you need anything, call me." He stood and grabbed a towel, wrapping it low around his waist.

When he turned away, she got a clear look at his back.

Fresh scratch marks. Red lines ran from his shoulder blades all the way down to his lower back, some of them deep.

Her gaze followed those marks lower and lower, until the towel covered his waist. Underneath it, more traces disappeared from sight.

She remembered making those marks. She remembered exactly what she’d been doing.

She squeezed her eyes shut hard. What the hell had happened to her last night?

I stayed in the water until my skin wrinkled up. When Dominic came back, she was still soaking there. He helped her up, dried her off, then carried her to the bed.

The sheets were fresh and clean. While she’d been in the bath, he’d already changed them.

He had even laid out her clothes for her—everything taken from the suitcase, folded neatly and set in place.

"If you’re tired, sleep a little longer. If you’re not, I’ll take you out." His voice was steady, calm, like last night’s wild, breathless sex hadn’t touched him at all.

She didn’t want to talk. She’d moaned too hard last night, and now her throat hurt like crazy.

She slipped under the blanket, turned her back to him, and stared at the wall.

He went to take a shower. She let out a long, heavy sigh.

The soreness between her legs and the dull ache all over her body said more than enough. They had gone way too hard—far beyond anything they’d ever done before.

They were supposed to end the arrangement. Instead, they had just lived through the most unforgettable night of her life.

Her phone buzzed once. It was Anna.

She stared at the screen for a long while before finally answering.

"Finally! Want to grab some late-night food?" Anna sounded bright and upbeat.

Thousands of miles away, it was still night there. Here, morning had already arrived.

She sighed. "Can’t make it."

"What happened to your voice?" Anna caught it right away. "Are you sick?"

She tapped her forehead lightly. Right—her throat. "Yeah, caught a bit of a chill."

"Bad?"

"Not really."

"Is Dominic home?"

"Yeah."

"That’s good, then. He’ll take care of you," Anna said, buying it without a second of doubt.

Lena didn’t have the energy for a long talk. Her throat was raw, and honestly, she felt wiped out.

"Anna."

"Yeah?"

She bit her lip. "I’m not at home."

"What?"

"Dominic took me on a trip. We’re somewhere on the coast. Far away from Bloodmoon Pack."

"What?!"

Lena gave her the short version—what happened at the airport, the suitcase she never got to pack, the flight that took them clear across the continent.

Anna laughed softly. "He’s trying to save this relationship. Total last-ditch move."

Maybe. Lena didn’t know. She really didn’t know what to call it.

But she did know one thing: after last night, everything had changed. There was no going back to this being "just an arrangement." Not after that. Not after the way he had held her so tightly afterward, like she was the only thing keeping the whole world out. From that moment on, nothing was the same.

"Whatever you decide, I’m with you," Anna said, her voice steady and sure. "Follow your heart."

Lena ended the call.

The bathroom door opened, and Dominic stepped out with a towel wrapped around his waist, heat still clinging to his skin.

She didn’t dare look at him.

She still couldn’t understand how they had ended up here.
