Seara was wearing a fitted terracotta sweater with white denim paired with white sneakers. Her hair was partially braided, and she was wearing green earrings. The color scheme complemented her auburn hair, making her look fresh.
"You look stunning, Love." Zade smiled widely when he came to pick her up. He was wearing a simple shirt, denim, and a jacket, which made him look relaxed and more approachable.
Zade kissed her on the lips, and the kiss lingered a little longer before he pulled away and stared at her again, which made Seara blush.
"Ehem." Zephyr cleared his throat. He wanted to take credit for his effort. "Don’t you think my choice is good? Why don’t you praise me too?"
Zade glanced at his royal gamma, but he didn’t praise him. "My mate is gorgeous in whatever she is wearing," he said and put his focus back on Seara, but he added, "I will give you a half day off."
"Really?" Zephyr widened his eyes like a puppy.
"You can come to the office tomorrow." Zade then escorted her to the car. He would drive, and he chose a sports car to drive her there.
Meanwhile, Zephyr was happy to get a day off, but then he got a phone call from Ace, who told him to get his ass to the office right away.
"I get a day off from Zade. I will see you tomorrow, bye, Icy Ace." Zephyr was bold enough to hang up on Ace.

"Are there only us here?" Seara asked Zade. She looked around, and there were only the two of them in the room.
Zade put the blanket on her lap. "It’s private," he said lightly.
"Oh..." Seara didn’t even know that you could watch a movie in private. She thought there was no such thing as a private theater back in the Blackthorn Pack. The big city had a lot of things that she didn’t know.
Seara then snuggled against Zade as he played with her hair as usual.
"Zade, thank you. You make me happy," Seara said with a smile. She took a deep breath, and his scent was soothing.
"Good, because you are stuck with me now. I will take that as permission to spoil you." Zade kissed Seara’s knuckles as she laughed when the movie began playing.
However, halfway through the movie, Seara couldn’t help but fall asleep. She would blame this on Zade, because he kept playing with her hair, and she felt extremely relaxed and comfortable being close to him.
Seara woke up only when the end credits appeared on the big screen.
"Huh? Is it done?" Seara rubbed her sleepy face. "I fell asleep."
"I know, you snored."
"No, I didn’t." Seara was slightly embarrassed. Did she really snore? It was difficult to know that. "Is the movie good?"
"I think so," Zade replied vaguely. "We can watch it again at home; I will get the movie."
The truth was that Zade stopped watching the movie in the first ten minutes and started staring at his mate instead, since it was way more interesting. That’s why he knew when exactly she fell asleep.
After that, Zade took her to play arcade games. Seara tried every game there, and Zade even got her a stuffed bunny from a claw machine.
Zade also took her to play bowling, and he taught her how to play. But Seara was terrible at the game.
"You will get the hang of it," Zade said, kissing her forehead when the ball that Seara threw rolled off the edge into the trench before reaching the pins.
Seara watched the scoreboard and scrunched her nose. Zero, zero, two, zero, one... for her.
"I want to go to the toilet," Seara said. She pressed her stuffed bunny to Zade’s chest. "No, I can go by myself."
Seara shook her head when she saw that Zade was about to stand up as well to follow her. "I will get you if you don’t come back in five minutes."
"That’s too fast," Seara laughed, but she left anyway because she needed to pee.
She realized that many eyes were following her movements. The women, in particular, would check Zade for the second time whenever he walked past them and smiled sweetly.
There were even two women who openly said ’hi’ to Zade, seeing if he were interested, though Seara was right there.
Yet, Zade ignored them completely to the point that Seara didn’t think Zade realized their attempts or even knew their existence. His focus was always on her.
Whenever Seara glanced at him, she would always find him staring at her with a gentle gaze. His electric blue eyes were exceptionally bright.
Seara had finished her business and wanted to return quickly. However, when she opened the door to her cabin, a woman approached her.
"Hi, it has been a while. How are you?"
Seara blinked at the question and the woman before her. She had long, black hair with golden eyes. The color of her eyes was unusual.
"Do I know you?" Seara asked with confusion. She didn’t think she would forget if she had met her before because it was rare to encounter someone with golden eyes.
"I suppose you do not," she said with a smile that made the corner of her eyes crinkle. "But I know you. You are Zade’s mate, right? I hear a lot of things about you."
Seara didn’t like this woman. Something about her made Seara shudder, as if there were dreadful feelings and danger that came off her.
"Excuse me, I don’t know you."
Seara stepped aside to avoid her, but then she saw her reflection in the mirror. There was nothing wrong with her, but something was not right, because this woman didn’t have any reflection.
"Miss, are you okay?" The other woman asked with concern. "Who are you talking to?"
Seara staggered back. She saw the golden-eyed woman, but it was only she who could see her.
