Seara couldn’t find the right clothes for her. She didn’t know why, but she was so worked up about the date with Zade.

"Help me find the right clothes to go on a date with Zade," Seara said to Zephyr when he came to have breakfast.

Zade had gone to take care of something with Ace, and he would come to pick her up in the afternoon to have lunch together and then watch a movie. That was it. It was a very standard date.

Yet, Seara had been rummaging through her wardrobe and still couldn’t find the dress that she thought would impress Zade.

"Seara, even if you are only wearing a sack, Zade will find you adorable," Zephyr replied as he ate his scrambled egg.

Unhappy, Seara pulled the plate away from Zephyr’s reach. "I have never been on a date before," she said, pushing the plate away when Zephyr tried to reach for it.

"Do you think I have been on many dates before?"

"You used to brag that you have been with many women." Seara still remembered Zephyr would bring that up whenever he argued with Ace or Jeremy, as if that were something he was proud of.

"Well, yeah..." Zephyr drawled the answer. "But usually, I don’t take them to a date; I take them to a hotel. Aw!"

Seara stomped on his feet after his last comment. "Be serious, Zeph."

"I am serious," Zephyr murmured. "Fine. Let’s see what you have here."

Seara then gave him his plate back, and he finished eating it within less than five minutes. After that, both of them went to the second room that had turned into a walk-in closet.

Zephyr noticed the difference between Seara then and now. He couldn’t believe it; less than a year ago she was that skinny woman on the brink of death.

He thought she wouldn’t survive, seeing how malnourished and severe her condition was.

But now, Zephyr could see that Seara was a beautiful woman. Her auburn hair was luminous and looked healthy. It was difficult to imagine that months ago Zade spent hours detangling the knots.

It was a long way for her to gain control over herself again.

"Why don’t you wear this?" Zephyr chose a floral print dress that looked casual.

"I don’t want to wear a dress," Seara said.

"Hm..." Zephyr then looked for a shirt and baggy jeans. "What about this?"

"Don’t you think that’s too casual? Do you think that will make me look interesting?"

"I have told you, Seara. Zade will not blink even if you were wearing a bathrobe to go to the movie with him," Zephyr said, as he tried to look for other clothes.

"What about you, Zeph? What clothes do you like a woman to wear?" Seara was crouching down next to Zephyr.

"I like them undressed, to be honest," Zephyr replied thoughtfully, and Seara threw a shirt at him for the comment. "Hey, why don’t you go to the main buildings? There are three bedrooms dedicated to your belongings there."

"Can you go with me?" Seara asked. She had been there once, but that building was too intimidating for her.

"I would love to, but the thing is..." Zephyr stopped mid-sentence, and then an idea crossed his mind as a smile bloomed on the corner of his lips.

"Don’t smile like that; you scare me."

"Seara, sweety." Zephyr’s voice turned very sweet. "I would love to help you, really, but can you do me a favor?"

"What is it?"

***

Zade was on the way to New Regal City to take care of some business. He wanted to get it done as quickly as possible since he promised his mate that they would have a date.

Zade was staring at the city out there while Ace gave him a random look as he drove when his phone rang.

On the screen, Zade saw it was Zephyr, who had called him, so he picked it up and asked whether he had done his assignment.

"It’s me." Seara’s voice came from the other side of the phone.

"Seara?" Zade straightened his back; he was on alert because it was not usual for her to call him from Zephyr’s phone. "Are you okay?"

"I am fine, but can I borrow Zephyr for a while?" Seara asked sheepishly.

"Borrow him?" Zade relaxed slightly. From the sound of it, Seara didn’t seem in any danger. "Why do you want to borrow him, Love?"

"Hm..." Seara mumbled. "I want to go to the main buildings and see the clothes there, but I don’t want to go alone." She then added quickly. "Is it okay with you?"

"Absolutely." There was a small smile on the corner of Zade’s lips when he heard Seara finally take the initiative to try on other clothes that he had bought. Probably, he had to take her on dates more often, and six times a week would be ideal. "He is yours."

"Okay. Thank you, Zade." Seara sounded happy even through the phone.

"I will pick you up before lunch," Zade said softly.

"Okay."

Seara then cut off the phone call, leaving Zephyr with mixed feelings. He had heard the entire conversation, and the way Zade had talked about Zephyr as Seara’s made it sound as if he were a puppy or something.

But then, his spirits lifted again because his guess was right; he could skip his duty for a while as long as it was Seara who asked.

"What is it?" Ace asked Zade after he finished the phone call.

"Zephyr has another important matter to handle," Zade replied lightly.

However, Ace could guess what Zephyr had done since Seara was the one who had been on the phone with Zade. That royal gamma was sneaky, and Ace knew his bad habits well.

Later that afternoon, Seara was waiting for Zade to pick her up as she was in the main building. Zephyr helped her pick out her clothes and gave a house tour of the main building too.

Because last time, Zade only took her to his bedroom.
