Leia came in the afternoon to bring lunch for Seara. She cooked a few dishes that she thought Seara might like, since she didn’t know her preferences yet.
"Where is Maisie?" Seara asked because Leia came with Caylin, but Maisie was not there.
"She got the flu, so she can’t come." Leia didn’t mean to lie to her, but she didn’t want Seara to worry, especially when she was in her current condition. Moreover, when Seara got back home, Maisie would be fully healed.
Leia thought of talking to Zade about Reaper and about not allowing the wild wolf to be around Seara, because she was worried that the wolf would attack her. They still didn’t know the reason why he had suddenly become so aggressive toward Maisie.
"How is it? Do you like it?" Leia asked expectantly.
Meanwhile, Jeremy was sitting on the sofa, looking bored because he had to tag along. His father wanted him to be by his mother’s side all the time, unless he had class, but he wanted to train. He was not satisfied with himself after the last battle.
If it were not for Ace and his father, who helped him countless times during the fight, he would have been dead by now. He felt weak.
"I love it," Seara said, thanking Leia for the meal and asking Jeremy to eat with them as well. "Why don’t you eat with us?"
"I am full. You eat." Jeremy was still sulking, sitting on the sofa, while playing with his phone. He felt bad about Neriah’s death because she had come with him, and he could have protected her. However, when he learned that Seara was fine with it, all of his guilt evaporated, and he no longer remembered her.
"Ignore him, just eat. If he is hungry, he will eat." Leia waved her hand and then chatted with Seara happily.
Jeremy glanced at the two of them as they laughed and conversed about trivial things, and he noticed something when the sunlight fell on them, and their hair looked as if they were on fire.
He didn’t notice this at first because Seara’s hair was rather dull the first time he met her, but now that she had gotten better, he realized that her hair was the same color as his mother’s.

While Seara was spending her time with Leia and Caylin, Zade was right outside the door with Zephyr, talking about the progress with the three packs.
In the end, they decided to dissolve the three packs and relocate some of the warriors to the other twenty packs.
But Zade wanted warriors of his own, not the warriors from other packs. Therefore, he would make all the warriors who had worked closely with him pledge their loyalty directly to him, especially those who had guarded the residence for more than five years.
However, they were free to leave if they didn’t want to.
"Ninety-five percent of the warriors who have been working closely with us agreed to pledge their loyalty to you and become warriors under the Lycans, but two percent of them were proven to have relations with the former alphas, betas, gammas, and the lunas. We cut them off as per your instruction, while the other three percent decided to join different packs."
Zephyr added a few more details about the situation with the packs. The other twenty packs had been expecting to find out who would become the new main pack alphas, replacing the former alphas Maverick, Kai, and Axel.
To have Zade as their patron would be a significant benefit to their packs.
"Let them try. Engage with them equally, but keep it vague." Zade knew they would do anything to gain his favor. It was good to put the status quo here.
"Understood." Zephyr nodded, and then they talked some more about the problems with the packs.
Later, Ace would come to discuss the company. Of course, the fall of the three packs had affected the business as well, because in the human world, the former three alphas were known as businessmen, and their deaths made headlines for a few days.
A lot of things would change from now on, as it should, since Zade would make sure no one would question his mate.
And after a few hours discussing business, Leia stepped out of the room and crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"We have something important to talk about," Leia said.
But Zade’s first reaction was to check the room, thinking something had happened to Seara, but she was sleeping, and Jeremy was also asleep on the sofa.
"No, she is fine. I want to talk about Reaper." Leia frowned when she told Zade what happened with Maisie. "That wolf attacked her."
"I think we already know that Reaper attacks anyone that he doesn’t like. He has been attacking me countless times; I almost thought it was his love language." Zephyr leaned against the wall. He didn’t realize he had been standing for hours while giving Zade the rundown about what happened.
He felt that the two of them stood in front of Seara’s bedroom door like two guard dogs.
"No, this time is different. Reaper mauled Maisie, and it took three warriors to stop Reaper from killing her." Leia shook her head. "I know Reaper is aggressive, but the wolf has never attacked with the intent to kill, especially not to anyone that he is already familiar with."
Maisie had been in the bungalow a few times, and Reaper was also there, but not even once had the wild wolf attacked her.
"Zade, I don’t think it is safe for Reaper to be around Seara. The wolf has gone mad, I think." Leia was worried that Seara might be the one attacked by Reaper. Seara couldn’t shift into her wolf form, and if she sustained the same wounds as Maisie, it would be fatal for her.
"I will look into it," Zade said. He didn’t make any decision.
