"Who are you talking to?" Zephyr came to accompany Seara because Zade was still talking to Rio, while Jane had an emergency.
"Sheena," Seara replied with a smile. She was so different from herself this morning when she was spiraling.
"Sheena?" Zephyr looked around; he didn’t see anyone. Moreover, Seara was alone for less than five minutes when Jane called him to be with her, as she needed to leave quickly. "Who is Sheena?"
"The nurse here."
"Where is she now?"
"She left when you came."
And Zephyr swore he saw no one here with Seara, because there was a minute’s walk along this corridor before he could approach her, and during that time he kept his eyes on her, but Seara was laughing and smiling to no one; even so, she seemed to have a great conversation somehow.
"Oh... okay," Zephyr drawled his answer.
"Is Zade done? Can we go home now?" Seara asked.
"No, not yet. We have to wait for a while." Zephyr sat next to her; he slouched on the sofa while staring at the people in front of them.
However, because he was bored, he decided to play a game on his phone, and this caught Seara’s attention. "What are you playing?" She craned her neck to see what game Zephyr was playing.
"Nothing. Just a fighting game." It was a way for him to let out steam, since time had changed and he spent more of his time in the office instead of beating someone.
He missed the era when humans didn’t overpopulate the realm, which forced the shifters to hide and blend with them.
Not to mention, there was an ancient magic that did not allow the shifters to kill humans because it would make their beast spirit fiercer.
"I want to play that." Seara looked at Zephyr expectantly.
"This game is not for a woman." The game’s feature was very realistic, making it appear as though the two characters were fighting, complete with real blood. "This is a little bit unsightly."
"I want to try." Seara insisted.
"Fine. Let’s try the easy mode." Zephyr switched the setting to easy mode and found an opponent for her. "Here." He then instructed her on how to move her player.
Because it was the first time she played this game, Seara was a little bit confused about where she had to click or how to use the weapon; therefore, she lost the first game.
"See? I told you, this is rather difficult." Zephyr grinned from ear to ear, which annoyed Seara.
"Again." She handed the phone to Zephyr so he could find an opponent for her.
"Fine." Zephyr was in a good mood because Seara was interested in the game that Zade and Ace said was child’s play.
Great. If he couldn’t get the king and his royal beta to play, he still could get the queen.
"Here." Zephyr then gave her a few tips on how to defeat the opponent.
It took Seara less than two minutes to win the fight. "I win!" She said happily.
"Great!" Zephyr patted her head, but Seara swatted his hand away.
"I want it more difficult."

"So, he refused to help you? Don’t you think that’s very expected?" The man with red eyes talked to Daven, who was sitting in the wheelchair.
"He is my beta; he should never defy my request." Daven was seething with rage. He refused to spend the rest of his life like this, sitting in his wheelchair and doing nothing.
No matter what, he was the alpha, and what the Lycan king had done was a humiliation that he would never forget.
"Your former beta," the man corrected him. "I offered you an easy way; you should have taken it, while I am still being generous with you."
Daven shifted his attention back to him. "Who are you? Answer that question first."
"You don’t need to know who I am. I am an ancient creature. I live longer than those Lycans." He shrugged his shoulders and looked at him lazily as he slouched down on the sofa.
"What is your name?"
"Ah... and that’s another thing... I don’t give my name to someone so easily, so unless you agree to cooperate with me, I will not give you anything."
However, Daven was stubborn. "Why do you want to kill all the Lycans?"
"I will not answer that either." He tilted his head. "You only need to know that they have something that I want. That we want."
Daven narrowed his eyes. "What is it?"
However, the man with red eyes made a zip motion on his lips, indicating that it was another question that he wouldn’t answer.
"Your caretaker is almost here." The man seemed to know even before Daven could sense the omega’s presence. He was sure this man was not a shifter.
"So, what do you want from me?" At this point, everything was better than this life. Having someone to take care of him was another humiliation that he couldn’t take as an alpha.
The man then smirked; his red eyes turned even darker. "A deal with the devil."

"What happened with you?" Rio saw Zephyr sulk as they followed behind Zade and Seara.
"Nothing," Zephyr replied curtly. He was in a bad mood.
"I beat him in the game," Seara generously replied to the doctor’s question. She looked so happy with herself.
"Really?" Rio raised his brows and then laughed. "That fighting game that you keep asking me to play?"
"Oh, shut up. She is only lucky. I don’t really fight her." Zephyr shrugged his shoulders and then hastened his step to get to the car first, while Rio laughed behind him and the couple didn’t even pay attention to him.
"Who are you waving to?" Zade asked when suddenly Seara was waving her hand in the middle of their conversation. He followed her line of sight, but there were so many people in the lobby.
"Sheena," Seara replied.
"The nurse?"
"Yes."
