Claimed by the Mad Lycan King
Chapter 93: WHAT ELSE DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MY MATE?"Because you are precious to me, Seara, and I don’t want to do something that brings you discomfort." Zade kissed those beautiful eyes that stared at him. "A Lycan’s beast is slightly different, Seara; it is a little bit more difficult to control. I don’t want to hurt you accidentally, but it doesn’t mean I want you any less."
Seara nodded in understanding. "I am sorry; I think too much." She lowered her head.
"You don’t; I would have wondered too if you suddenly held back with the kiss. I would have thought I did something bad." He kissed her forehead. "I should have communicated it to you."
There was something in the way Zade spoke that made Seara feel good. He didn’t blame her or even belittle her feelings. He understood what she meant.
"Talk to me if there is something else that bothers you, okay? I can be a little bit dull not to notice that."
Seara chuckled; it would be so wrong to think Zade was dull. "Okay." It felt as if a brick had been lifted from her chest, and she felt much better now that she knew what Zade actually felt.
"Okay, I have to go shower." Zade stood up, but he stretched out his hand. "Or do you want to go shower with me? We can save the water bill."
This time Seara laughed. There was no way Zade cared about the water bill when he was extremely wealthy; she didn’t think he knew how much he had to pay every month.
"No," Seara said between her laughter. She swatted his hand away playfully.
"At least, I try." Zade loved the sound of her laughter; it could easily be his favorite sound. He had a silly thought about wanting to record her laughter so he could hear it anytime.
After that, Zade went to the bathroom, and soon after, Seara heard the running water. She looked at the room and realized how small it was, compared to the bedroom that Zade had in the main building.
There were only two rooms in this bungalow; one was for her wardrobe, and the other was the one that they occupied.
This room was not even half the size of Zade’s bathroom in the main house. There was only a queen-sized bed, a chair, and a single sofa, since they were the only furniture that could be squeezed in here.
Seara didn’t mind it; it was comfortable for her because she had been used to living in that small cell, but Zade... how didn’t it bother him? Now Seara noticed how Zade would bump into furniture if he moved too quickly because all the furniture pieces were positioned close together.
And Seara also realized how small this bed was compared to the one Zade had in the main building. You could literally have a wrestling match on that round bed.
Zade was so willing to put himself in discomfort so she would be comfortable.
Now that Seara thought about it, she felt bad about herself.
On the bedside table was her notebook. Initially, Seara would hide the notebook from Zade, but there was one occasion that she forgot and dreaded the thought of Zade reading it.
However, he didn’t.
And now, she kept the journal close to her, within her reach, so when she wanted to say something that she didn’t know how, she could write it down.
And on the latest entry, she wrote about how she felt.

"I am home!" Zephyr said loudly when he entered the bungalow.
"This is not your home," Zade replied. He threw an irritated look at the royal gamma as he crossed the room and went straight to the dining table.
Meanwhile, Seara laughed, and she enjoyed her meat while observing the look on Zephyr’s face. The gamma looked so heartbroken.
"I have thought of this place as my home."
"Don’t."
Despite the unwelcome remark, Zephyr sat down next to Seara, and she gave him an empty plate so he could eat with them.
Zade always asked the omegas to cook extra food, just in case Seara miraculously would eat two portions. That was why Zephyr still could have some, though he came uninvited.
"Where have you been?" Seara asked; she missed the gamma.
"Your mate sent me out for a secret mission that almost got me killed," Zephyr replied dramatically, and this shocked Seara. She looked at Zade for an explanation.
"He went to a pack to retrieve something," Zade replied casually. His response felt underwhelming. He didn’t clarify that the ’something’ he referred to was ’a shifter,’ nor did he specify that ’a pack’ meant ’the Blackthorne Pack.’
Zephyr then remembered something; he dug into his pocket jacket. "Give me your hand; I bought you something."
"What?" Seara stretched out her hand and opened her palm. Zephyr then clasped a bracelet around her wrist.
"Do you like it?"
It was a woven bracelet with embroidery floss of vibrant yellow color and an intricate knot pattern. It was cute, and Seara remembered she wanted something like this when she was in junior high school. She collected money from her part-time job and bought one.
However, Brigid didn’t like it and snatched it. Not only that, she burned it.
"I love it! Thank you." Seara was ecstatic. "How do you know I like this?"
"Of course, I know." Zephyr was proud of himself.
But the truth was, he simply got the story from Brigid when she complained about her adoptive sister and how annoying she was. And then, the story about the bracelet came up.
"I have bought you a few bracelets," Zade said. He narrowed his eyes at the cheap bracelet on Seara’s hand.
"Yes, but they are gold; I am afraid I will lose them."
"I can always buy you a new one if you lose it."
Seara leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I wear the earrings." She tucked her hair behind her ears and showed her small earrings.
Soon after, Seara went to the bathroom, and Zephyr suddenly felt the pressure increase in the air. "What else do you know about my mate?"
