Chapter 69: Chapter 69 Hell
Rahiel is one of ten countries located on the Zang Continent, a newly emerged continent in the South China Sea.
Most of Rahiel’s population consists of migrants and descendants of migrants from East Asian countries and North America, with smaller populations originating from Europe and other regions.
Rahiel is divided into 72 large districts, which are further organized into five major regions: Central, North, South, West, and East. The country has a total population of approximately 40 million people.
Districts 17 to 30 are located in the South Region, which is the third-most-populated region in Rahiel.
The West Region is the second-most-populated region after the Central Region and consists of Districts 45 to 58.
Right now, at the Lotus Club in District 50, many people were enjoying themselves under the colorful lights. Several strip dancers were performing on poles while the audience watched and cheered. Some even threw money toward the performers.
Drinks and bottles were being carried around by the staff, while laughter filled the entire club. One thing they all had in common was the black flower emblem attached to the back of their shirts.
Inside one of the private rooms, Maria sat comfortably on the couch, watching two strip dancers perform in front of her as loud music played in the background. Drinks and juices covered the table.
Suddenly, the door opened. Thom and the others entered the room while Kay Sung was the last to enter. He walked over and sat on one of the couches in polite manners.
Maria raised her hand. The dancers immediately stopped performing and left the room, while the music volume was lowered. The lights also changed from bright red to a softer yellow.
One of the large men then threw a girl over his shoulder and dropped her onto the floor. It was Celine. Thom cut the restraints around her hands and legs before removing the cloth covering her mouth.
"Where did you find her?" Maria asked.
"We were waiting for her at her place. Then, suddenly, she arrived with a man today. It seems she had been admitted to the hospital for the past few days," Thom explained.
"With a man? Did you kill him? I don’t want any unnecessary witnesses," Maria asked.
Thom then pointed toward Kay Sung.
"I believe I inflicted a fatal injury on that gentleman. He should already be meeting his Creator by now," Kay Sung said.
Maria stood up and walked toward Celine, who was still on the ground. She crouched down and gently held Celine’s chin.
"What happened to you, darling? Can you tell me why you were admitted to the hospital?"
Celine remained silent while avoiding eye contact.
"I believe you’re healthy enough now. So, you can resume your work as usual."
"No! I... I don’t want to do it anymore..."
"I...I want to cancel our contract," Celine said.
Maria’s eyes widened as she stared directly into Celine’s eyes. Then, she slowly stood up and took a glove from her handbag and put it on her right hand.

Suddenly, she slapped Celine across the face. A bright red mark appeared on Celine’s cheek.
"There are two types of people I hate the most, liars and people who break their promises. In exchange for paying for your brother’s treatment, you agreed to work for me for ten years. You still have seven years remaining on your contract, and I expect you to fulfill it," Maria said.
Celine held her aching cheek as tears began to well up in her eyes. There was a reason she had joined the Black Maria. Her younger brother had been diagnosed with leukemia and he was the only family she had left after their parents died in an accident.
At that time, Celine was only 18 years old, young and naive. Desperate for money, she noticed an advertisement online offering an easy way to receive a large amount of money.
Without reading the details carefully, she immediately applied as she was desperate to save her brother. Not long after, she received a 500,000 Zents medical loan and promised with easy repayment method. It was more than enough to pay for her younger brother’s chemotherapy.

"Hello. What happened?"
His eyes suddenly widened.
"What?! Are you sure?"
"What happened?" one of the other men asked.
"Kay Sung! The man you stabbed just now is still alive! Are you sure you struck him properly?!" Thom shouted.
"Impossible. My attacks never miss their intended targets," Kay Sung said while remained calm
Celine’s eyes widened and a small smile slowly appeared on her face.
’Lars is still alive...’
For the first time in years, a small smile appeared on her face. But that smile didn’t escape Maria’s notice. She then turned toward Thom.
"Kill him."
