Chapter 1470: Chapter 13: Deathmatch (Part 2)_3

Baz, who’d been itching to test himself against the Judgers, gave the attack order almost without a moment’s hesitation. Back when he’d gone up against the Judgers in a Ranger, five Mecha had barely been able to take down one. Now he was in a Twelfth Generation Rampage, with numbers thirty to ten. This was a full Rampage formation dueling the Judgers, and he was dead set on keeping this Judger squad here!

That said, the Judgers’ strength was still beyond Baz’s expectations.

Even piloting a Twelfth Generation Mecha with a magnetic instrument, even when he pushed his Mecha Martial Arts to a hand speed of sixty-five moves per second, Baz still broke out in a cold sweat in the initial exchange. The enemy’s storm-like barrage of attacks actually exceeded the standard of seventy moves per second.

He glanced around. The bandit army mecha pilots were desperately tightening the encirclement on this position, while the three Mecha lagging at the rear on the enemy side had already been pinned down by five Rampages. On a narrow road, the Hero wins—this fight was about using numbers to crush the few, straight-up slugging it out. No matter what, they had to keep them here!

That sudden "metal head" from the enemy stunned Wood and enraged him at the same time, but he still didn’t lose his cool. He knew the enemy wanted to tie him down, waiting for the other Devil Mecha to complete the encirclement.

"Move!" Wood ignored Baz. He let out a savage roar, his Mecha firing off five punches and seven kicks like lightning, sweeping one Devil Mecha that was entangling a comrade aside, then he vaulted back at high speed, one kick slamming into another Devil Mecha.

With Wood’s explosive outburst, the bandit army mecha pilots—already outnumbered—saw their offensive falter, giving the other Judgers a gap to break free.

Boom! With a thunderous blast, the five Judgers and the two Judgers converging rapidly from both flanks shot out like rockets, ripping through the dust spreading like a shockwave along the ground and streaking through the air toward the depths of the jungle. In that instant of ignition, they already saw the No. 4 Mecha covering the rear get its legs blown off in a brutal trade of killing blows, while the Devil Mecha it had hit, under its comrades’ cover, got away with only an arm damaged.

Beside No. 4, Nos. 5 and 6 weren’t in much better shape. They were still fighting tooth and nail, but more and more Devil Mecha were closing in on all sides, about to drown them.

Each of these Devil Mecha had fighting power that was in no way inferior to the Judgers. Their Mecha speed was blistering, their defense and attack both extremely strong, as if they had a core of molten earth’s heart beating inside them. The Judgers not only had no performance edge, they were repeatedly making critical errors at decisive moments.

Even more terrifying was the enemy’s combat technique. That smooth yet uncanny footwork and those moves weren’t covered by any standard Mechanical Control routines at all. They circled around Nos. 5 and 6; though their action frequency was the same, when they moved it was like startled dragons taking flight. All kinds of techniques dazzled the eye.

One-on-one, Nos. 5 and 6 might not have fallen behind, but under the enemy’s well-coordinated group assault, they were in constant peril.

The Judger Mecha pilots who had leapt into the air steadied their minds and pushed their Mecha speed to the max. On both sides, the Devil Mecha charging at them like lunatics were less than a hundred meters away. If they couldn’t punch through, the whole squad would probably be trapped here.

Break out. Everything that happened here had to be reported to the General, to their comrades, to that idiot battalion commander from Gazalin. Let’s see what that guy can come up with!

"Sir, do we pursue?" a bandit army mecha pilot asked Baz.

Baz casually fired a few shots at the direction the seven Judgers were fleeing, then waved his hand. "Taking three is enough. Our mission is to clear the surrounding screened battlefield for the main force counterattack. Besides..."

Baz sneered at the seven Judger Mecha fleeing in panic. "There are people waiting for them up ahead."
