Dickoff heard them clearly. His face twisted with anger.
The black armor-like layer covering his right arm had become thicker after the last exchange. More dark lines were spreading across his chest, neck, and the left side of his face. The borrowed chaos energy inside him continued pressing against his mortal body, making his muscles swell and his bones creak beneath the force. He could feel the strength, but he could also feel the object buried in his palm pulling harder on everything inside him.
He ignored the discomfort.
The two women had blocked him once.
That did not mean they could continue doing it.
Dickoff looked at Sekhmet behind them. The wounds across Sekhmet’s body were still closing. The damage to his spine had almost healed, and the blood covering his clothes was slowly moving back toward the open cuts before disappearing inside them.
He needed to kill him before that regeneration restored everything.
Dickoff bent his knees and rushed forward again.
This time he did not attack in a straight line.
His body moved toward Natasha first, then changed direction halfway through the step. The black energy around him exploded against the floor and pushed him toward Sofia from the side. He aimed for her head, intending to remove one of the women before the other could react.
Sofia saw the attack.
She did not try to block the fist directly.
Her body dropped low, and Dickoff’s hand passed over her hair. At the same moment, she grabbed his wrist with both hands and turned with the force of his movement instead of fighting against it. Her Half-God body remained stable while Dickoff’s own speed carried him past her.
Natasha was already waiting.
She struck him in the stomach with her knee.
The impact bent Dickoff’s body, but the black armor around his waist absorbed most of the damage. Before Natasha could follow with another attack, he swung his left arm and struck her across the shoulder.
Natasha was thrown through the broken table.
Wood, gray chaos stone powder, and empty storage rings scattered around her. She rolled once across the floor and stopped near the wall, but she was already pushing herself upright before the broken pieces finished falling.
Dickoff turned toward Sekhmet.
Sofia moved between them.
He punched at her chest.
Sofia crossed both arms and received the strike.
The force pushed her backward. Her boots tore through the floor, leaving two long marks across the stone. One of the bones in her forearm cracked, and blood came from the corner of her mouth, but she remained on her feet.
Dickoff pressed forward.
Sofia caught his arm under one shoulder and held it there for one heartbeat.
That heartbeat was enough for Natasha to return.
She appeared behind Dickoff, wrapped one arm around his neck, and drove her claws into the black layer covering his shoulder.
Dickoff shouted and released a wave of chaos energy in every direction.
The blast struck both women.
Sofia was thrown toward the left side of the hall. Natasha lost her grip and crashed into one of the remaining pillars. The stone split behind her, and a large piece fell across her back.
Dickoff did not stop to check whether they were injured.
He rushed toward Sekhmet again.
Sekhmet had already formed another Blood Sword.
The dark red blade appeared in his hand as Dickoff approached. Sekhmet moved sideways instead of trying to meet the attack directly. He cut toward Dickoff’s damaged left eye and forced him to turn his head.
The sword missed the eye but cut across the black veins on his cheek.
Dickoff grabbed the blade with his bare hand.
The blood weapon cracked beneath his fingers.
"You are still trying to fight me with this?"
Sekhmet released the sword before Dickoff could pull him closer.
The blood blade collapsed into liquid and wrapped around Dickoff’s hand. It moved between his fingers, entered the small cuts created by Natasha’s claws, and tried to push beneath the black armor.
Dickoff felt the blood entering his wound and immediately released more chaos energy.
The blood was forced outward.
Sekhmet stepped away before Dickoff’s next fist reached him.
The countdown remained visible in front of his eyes.
[External Energy Remaining: 05:47]
Only twenty-four seconds had passed since Natasha caught the first punch.
The time was moving slowly because every attack carried enough power to kill someone.
Dickoff saw Sekhmet glance at something in the air.
He understood what that meant.
"You are watching something. You are waiting for me to run out of time."
Sekhmet did not answer.
Dickoff’s anger increased.
He attacked again, but Sofia returned before he reached Sekhmet. Her broken forearm had already repaired itself. She moved in from the side and struck the back of his knee with enough force to make his leg bend.
Natasha followed from the other direction.
Her claws crossed Dickoff’s chest and tore four lines through the black armor. The hard layer broke apart, revealing flesh beneath it. Dark blood came out of the wounds, but the black seed’s energy immediately moved toward them.
The cuts began closing.
Natasha saw the speed of the regeneration and stepped away.
"He is healing with the borrowed energy."
Sofia answered while moving around Dickoff. "Then every wound uses part of it."
That was another way to shorten the time.
They did not need to overpower him. They only needed to force the artifact to spend more energy.
Dickoff heard them.
"You think small wounds will matter?"
He brought both hands together.
Black chaos energy gathered between his palms and compressed into a heavy sphere. The pressure inside the hall changed immediately. Loose pieces of stone began sliding across the floor toward him. Gray powder rose from the empty chaos stone cases and spun through the air.
Sekhmet felt the attack forming.
"Sofia."
She understood without needing more.
Sofia spread both hands.
Blood rose from every wound inside the hall. Sekhmet’s blood, Dickoff’s blood, and the blood Sofia and Natasha had spilled all moved toward her. It gathered into a thick red barrier in front of Sekhmet.
Natasha stood behind that barrier and placed both palms against it. Her chaos energy entered the blood wall and strengthened it.
Dickoff pushed his hands forward.
The black sphere became a wide beam. Then it struck the blood barrier.
The sound was louder than the earlier collisions. The floor beneath Sofia and Natasha broke apart. The red wall bent inward, and black cracks spread across its surface. Blood was burned away by the chaos energy, filling the hall with a sharp metallic smell.
Sofia’s arms shook.
Natasha pressed harder.
The beam continued pushing them backward.
Sekhmet stood directly behind the two women. He could see the flesh on Sofia’s hands beginning to tear from the pressure. Natasha’s shoulders were being forced backward, and small cracks appeared across the bones beneath her skin.
They did not move aside. Although they could have. Both were fast enough to escape the line of the attack. But if they dodged, the beam would strike Sekhmet.
Sofia lowered her body and forced more chaos energy into the barrier.
Natasha’s fangs appeared as she clenched her teeth.
The blood wall finally broke.
Black energy exploded through the centre.
Sofia and Natasha crossed their arms in front of their bodies and received the remaining force. They were thrown backward together. Both struck Sekhmet and carried him several steps before the energy faded.
For a moment, all three remained standing close together.
Then Sofia fell onto one knee. Her forearms were burned badly. The skin had been removed from several places, revealing damaged muscle beneath it.
Natasha’s left shoulder had been dislocated. Blood ran down her arm, and part of her collarbone had broken through the skin.
Dickoff breathed heavily on the other side of the hall. The black sphere had consumed more energy than his earlier attacks.
Sekhmet looked at the countdown.
[External Energy Remaining: 05:09]
The attack had cost Dickoff more than thirty seconds.
His battle power also dropped slightly before rising again as the black seed pulled more energy from the remaining force stored inside his body.
[Overall Battle Power: 147,600]
The difference was small, but it confirmed what Sofia had said.
Every wound mattered. Every large attack mattered even more.
Sekhmet placed one hand on Sofia’s shoulder and the other on Natasha’s back. His blood moved through the touch between them. The wounds on their bodies began closing faster.
Sofia looked back at him.
"You should save your energy."
"I decide how my energy is used."
She did not argue again.
Natasha forced her shoulder back into place with one hard movement. The bone returned with a sharp sound. Her body began repairing the remaining damage.
Dickoff stared at them. He had expected fear after his attack. Instead, the three of them were already preparing to continue with the next move.
"You cannot keep doing this," he said.
Sofia rose from her knee. Natasha stepped forward beside her. Neither woman answered.
Their silence irritated him more than mockery would have.
Dickoff attacked again, aiming at Sofia.
