"Old man, open the door," Arcis asked.
Coyui’s expression became terrible the moment he heard those words. He had already explained the danger outside, and yet the cultivators in front of him clearly had no intention of retreating. They were determined to see the situation for themselves, even if it meant walking directly into what would most likely be their deaths.
"You are going to die," Coyui warned once again. "Believe me. You won’t be able to do anything against the enemy outside."
"That’s up to us to decide," Arcis replied calmly.
Coyui stared at him for a few moments. He didn’t believe Arcis had any idea what he was talking about. From his perspective, these cultivators were simply unaware of the terrifying environment waiting outside the Vault. However, he could also tell that nothing he said would change their minds.
"I guess that’s the end then."
With that, Coyui walked toward the entrance. He placed his hand against the ancient door, and after a brief moment, a faint light spread across its surface. The old mechanisms inside the Vault slowly activated, responding to his touch straightaway.
*Zush!*
The moment the door opened, everyone immediately moved out. They had already prepared themselves for a possible attack, and nobody intended to hesitate after finally reaching the other side.
However, the instant they crossed the entrance, an overwhelming force pressed down on their bodies.
*Tud, tud, tud, tud...*
*Argh!*
One after another, they dropped to their knees. Their bodies simply couldn’t withstand the pressure surrounding the Vault. Even Arcis and Thery, both Law Gods, were unable to remain standing. They tried to circulate their energy, move their limbs, or even release their Celestial Senses, but everything was suppressed.
They couldn’t even properly turn their heads toward whoever had attacked the place.
"Well, well, well... Look at what we have here."
Three men approached from the side, slowly walking toward them. Judging by the massive destruction not too far away and the impact crater left behind, there was no doubt they were the ones responsible for attacking the Vault.
The building itself was surprisingly difficult to notice from outside. It looked nothing more than a small hill covered in ashes, an ancient structure that had been abandoned for countless years. Without the damage caused by the recent attack, anyone passing by would probably never guess that a sealed location was hidden beneath the ashes.
The man leading the group stopped in front of Arcis. His horns, red eyes, and especially the dark aura surrounding his body immediately revealed his identity.
A Devil.
Devils were not particularly common in the Besgol Region. The twins’ group had encountered a few Ascender Devils before, but those were rare encounters. Seeing one here, especially in a place like the City Prison of Woster, was unexpected.
"You are not Coyui..." The Devil narrowed his eyes as he examined Arcis. "Who the hell are you?"
Arcis gritted his teeth and tried to force his body to move. However, no matter how much strength he used, he couldn’t even lift a feather.
His Celestial Sense was also completely trapped inside his body. He had already noticed that restriction when they arrived through the Teleport Array, but at the time, he had not considered it important.
Now, he understood why this place was so dangerous.
"Le-let me... go!" Arcis forced out.
The Devil looked at him with confusion.
"What are you talking about?" he asked. "Neither of us is holding you. You aren’t moving because you don’t want to."
Arcis’s expression changed slightly.
The Devil wasn’t wrong. There was no physical force restraining him. Instead, the terrifying Godly Pressure surrounding the area was simply too powerful for his body to overcome.
"Calol..." another man called out from behind him.
This second man had a humanoid appearance, but the twins’ group couldn’t determine his exact race. "We can’t waste much time. If we don’t bring Coyui back, the boss won’t be happy."
"I’m here." At that moment, Coyui finally stepped out from the Vault. He looked at the three men without any surprise, as if he had already expected this encounter.
"Calol, there is no need to push things too far," Coyui said. "Also, this group has nothing to do with me. They just happened to be taking shelter in this Vault when I was looking for a place to hide."
Calol’s expression immediately brightened after seeing him. "Oh! So you came out by yourself, Coyui."
He looked between Coyui and the others lying on the ground, clearly suspicious. "That’s strange, though. The Coyui we know would never try to help someone else. Are you sure they aren’t your companions or something like that?"
Coyui shook his head. "I don’t know them. I have no reason to lie. Have you ever seen me interacting with this group? Or better yet, do you really think I would willingly associate myself with such weaklings?"
Calol thought about it briefly before nodding. "Well, that’s true."
However, his expression soon turned cold. "Since that’s the case, you won’t mind if we kill them all, right?"
Everyone’s expression changed.
Until that moment, they had already understood they were in trouble, but hearing those words made the situation even worse. They were completely powerless in front of these enemies, and the reason was obvious.
Godly Pressure!
The concentration of Godly Pressure outside the Vault was beyond anything they had expected. It was so dense that even Law Gods couldn’t properly move under its influence. Their cultivation, which normally allowed them to stand above countless experts, was meaningless in this environment.
For the Zone Gods, the situation was even worse. The pressure was not only preventing them from moving, but it was also slowly damaging their bodies. The injuries were not severe enough to kill them immediately, but if they remained there for too long, the damage would continue accumulating until they could no longer endure it.
The City Prison of Woster was proving to be even more dangerous than they had imagined.
*Rawr!*
Suddenly, the fox moved.
Despite the terrifying Godly Pressure covering the area, she seemed to not feel it at all as she jumped in front of Arcis. Flames rotated around her small body as she stared angrily at the Devil before her.
She was trying to protect everyone.
The sight shocked the twins’ group. How was that possible?
*Rawr, rawr!*
