The body of an infected Mutant was indeed strong.

But the body of a Level Six Martial Spirit Mutant wasn't strong enough to withstand the Thunder Sword.

Chu Qingyun unleashed another Thunder Sword. Then, his figure flashed as he took two steps forward instead of retreating. He condensed his Thunder Light Sword Qi to its absolute limit and thrust his sword out.

Although he met significant resistance, the Earth Seal Sword still pierced straight through the Mutant's head, entering under its chin and emerging from the top of its skull.

Mu Xiaoxiao shouted, then pulled out her sword and slashed at the side of the Mutant's neck. While the blow didn't decapitate it, it did cut about half a centimeter deep.

The Mutant shrieked and swiped at Mu Xiaoxiao.

But just then, Dai slammed his hammer forward, sending the Mutant flying.

The two were perfectly coordinated, clearly having fought together often.

Just like that, with Mu Xiaoxiao on offense and Dai providing cover, she landed over thirty blows on the Mutant's neck before it was mostly severed.

Then, Dai gathered all his strength, executed Lifting Heavy as Light, and sent a hammer blow crashing down, finally knocking its head clean off.

Having lost its head, the Mutant's body fell to the ground with a THUD, dead.

Meanwhile, Chu Qingyun walked over to the Mutant's severed head and, from point-blank range, unleashed a Thunder Sword, directly blasting it to smithereens.

Chu Qingyun searched the ground for a moment. His eyes lit up as he used the Earth Seal Sword to pick a diamond-shaped crystal out from the blood and bits of flesh.

Mu Xiaoxiao blinked her large, curious eyes.

Chu Qingyun pinned the crystal to the ground with his foot, wiping it clean on the dirt. "Not sure," he said. "I just happened to find it when I blew up the other Mutant's head."

After wiping it clean, Chu Qingyun picked the crystal up.

It was a perfect, three-dimensional, diamond-shaped crystal. In the sunlight, it shimmered with a faint red glow, looking magnificent.
