Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100
Chapter 1983: Sending Help! The arena stayed silent after the messenger’s report.
For a few moments, even the ancient conflict between the Four Sacred Clans and the Voidwalker Clan seemed to fade beneath the weight of that one word.
Devils.
The Bloodline Legacy Battle had already turned into something far bigger than a battle between young geniuses, but the sudden news of devils in the Divine Realm changed the whole mood.
This was no longer just about buried history, a stolen sacred legacy, or whether the Voidwalker Clan should stay sealed. If devils had really entered their universe again, every supreme force in the Divine Realm would have to respond.
The Valerius head’s expression turned sharp and decisive.
"Summon the third and seventh sacred response teams," he ordered right away. "Send them to the Veyrith Star Realm immediately. Have them assist the local forces, stabilize the planetary defense lines, rescue important survivors where possible, and eliminate every devil they find."
Several Valerius elders bowed at once.
"Yes, Clan Head!"
The Ashbourne head stepped forward, his earlier anger at Max still there but pushed down beneath battle intent. "Send Ashbourne’s Blood-Iron Vanguard with them. If devils have really shown up, ordinary reinforcements might not cut it. Let our warriors find out whether these devils are remnants, scouts, or part of something bigger."
The Ravenhart head’s eyes stayed cold and thoughtful. "Ravenhart will send a shadow-prophecy unit too. We need information more than we need blind slaughter. Find out where the crack opened, whether it’s stable, whether it can be traced, and whether there are signs of a second breach."
The Evercrest head, still wounded from Max’s attack, clenched his teeth and gave his own order. "Evercrest will send a spatial sealing team. If the devils came through a crack, space itself needs to be locked down before more of them cross over."
The messenger lowered his head quickly, relief flashing across his pale face.
The Valerius head looked at the gathered elders and younger participants. "Don’t assume this is only our problem. The Primordial Race and the other top first-rate forces should have gotten the warning by now too. If they have any sense, they’ll have already sent a team or two."
His voice grew heavier.
"But we are the Four Sacred Clans. We don’t wait for others to move before we act."
The Ashbourne head said coldly, "Whoever’s chosen to go needs to treat this like a real battlefield, not an investigation. If the report’s true, kill every devil you see. Only capture one if it doesn’t risk the defense line."
The Ravenhart head added, "And don’t trust how they look. Devils aren’t always mindless monsters. Some can think, deceive, possess, and hide their aura. Confirm with devil-suppression formations before you bring anything back."
The Evercrest head looked at his people. "Prepare cross-realm spatial gates. I want the first reinforcement team gone within a hundred breaths."
The whole arena moved at once. Elders passed on orders. Sacred clan guards rushed out. Formation masters started activating emergency platforms behind the clan seats. Several young geniuses who’d been watching the Bloodline Legacy Battle with pride and excitement now stood with grim faces, realizing the stage they’d come to compete on might soon turn into a battlefield soaked in devil blood.
Cassian Valerius rose from his seat. "I’ll go too."
The Valerius head looked at him. "You’re one of the main participants in the Bloodline Legacy Battle here."
Cassian’s expression didn’t change. "The battle’s already been interrupted. If devils have returned, sitting here to protect our reputation doesn’t mean anything."
Draven Ashbourne laughed coldly and stood as well. "Good. I was getting tired of listening to old secrets anyway. Devils sound more interesting."
The Ashbourne head glared at him. "This isn’t a hunt for your entertainment."
Draven’s grin faded slightly, but the battle intent in his eyes only grew stronger. "I know."
Seraphine Ravenhart also stood, her silver-purple eyes distant. "I’ll go with the Ravenhart unit and give them whatever help I can."
Aelric Evercrest tried to stand, but the wound from Max’s Black Dragon Cataclysm Breath flared up again, twisting his face with pain. An Evercrest elder immediately pressed a hand on his shoulder.
"You’re not going anywhere in your condition."
Aelric’s expression turned ugly, but he didn’t argue. Today’s defeat had already crushed enough of his pride.
Max watched all of this in silence. The speed at which the Four Sacred Clans switched from internal conflict to war preparation explained why they’d stayed at the top for so long. Their history might be ugly, and their treatment of the Voidwalker Clan might be built on lies and fear, but when an ancient enemy showed up, they moved without hesitation.
Freya descended slightly from the sky, though she didn’t dismiss the thousands of Voidwalker descendants surrounding the arena. Her gaze moved from the emergency formations to Max, then to the Voidwalker Ancestor.
The Voidwalker Ancestor had stayed quiet since the messenger appeared. His expression looked grave, but there was something deeper in his eyes too. Recognition. Worry. A faint trace of old fear.
Max noticed it right away. The old man knew more about the devils than he’d let on. Maybe everyone from that ancient generation did.
The Valerius ancestor looked at the Voidwalker Ancestor and said coldly, "Don’t think this matter is finished."
The Voidwalker Ancestor replied calmly, "I never thought it was."
The Ashbourne ancestor’s voice came out heavy. "The question of unsealing the Voidwalker Clan gets discussed once the devil situation is contained."
Freya’s eyes narrowed. "Discussed?"
The Ravenhart ancestor looked at her. "Don’t push too far. You threatened the descendants of the Four Sacred Clans in our own arena. If it weren’t for the devil report, this place would already be drowning in blood."
Freya’s expression didn’t change. "If it weren’t for your attempt to seal my brother, we wouldn’t even be here."
The Evercrest ancestor’s spatial roots stirred, but the Valerius ancestor raised his hand slightly and kept things from getting worse.
"Enough." His gaze turned toward the emergency gates forming behind the clan platforms. "The devil matter comes first."
Nobody liked that conclusion. Not the Four Sacred Clans. Not Freya. Not the Voidwalker descendants. Not even Max. But for now, it was the only thing keeping the arena from turning into a battlefield between five ancient bloodlines while devils attacked planets somewhere else.
