Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 565: Maybe This Isn’t the Most Perfect Ending (4)Chapter 565: Chapter 565: Maybe This Isn’t the Most Perfect Ending (4)
As soon as the wedding car stopped, Tristan Grayson was the first to get out, carrying Mika Summers all the way to the church. He only set her down when they reached the entrance.
Tristan Grayson turned his head slightly and gave her a gentle smile. He raised his arm, offering it to her. Mika Summers smiled back and took his arm without hesitation.
They walked toward the priest, their steps elegant and solemn.
’This moment feels like a dream. To think, the first time I fell for him was just from seeing a poster and a commercial that was only a few seconds long.’
’Back then, I fell in love with the man on the screen at first sight. I never thought there would be a day I could actually marry him.’
’I always kept my love for him hidden away in my heart. But now, I’m actually marrying the man I’ve loved for so many years.’
’And he loves me just as much as I love him now.’
’Maybe this is enough. It really is... more than enough...’
’There has never been a moment I’ve felt happier than right now.’
’Tristan, thank you. I really mean it, thank you.’
Before she knew it, she and Tristan Grayson were standing before the priest.
"Tristan Grayson, are you willing to take the woman by your side as your wife? To love and be faithful to her from this day forward, in good times and in bad, whether she is poor, sick, or disabled, until death. Are you willing?"
Hearing the priest’s words, Tristan Grayson’s eyes welled up with tears, but his smile was radiant. He turned to look at the woman beside him, who happened to be looking right back at him. "I am. I, Tristan Grayson, am willing to take Mika Summers as my wife. From this day forward, in good times and in bad, whether she is poor, sick, or disabled, I will always love her and be faithful to her, until death."
"Mika Summers, are you willing to take the man by your side as your husband? To love and be faithful to him from this day forward, in good times and in bad, whether he is poor, sick, or disabled, until death. Are you willing?"
Hearing the priest’s words, tears began to stream down Mika Summers’ face, but she was still smiling radiantly. Her answer was crisp and resolute. "I am. I, Mika Summers, am willing to take Tristan Grayson as my husband. From this day forward, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, I will always love him, never leave his side, until death."
"Next, you will exchange the rings. From this day forward, you are officially husband and wife."
As the priest finished speaking, Tiana, who had appeared at some point, pushed Kiki down the aisle. Kiki was holding up a small box.
Mika Summers and Tristan Grayson turned to watch the little one approach, then looked at each other and smiled.
Tristan Grayson first opened the box in Kiki’s hands. Inside, as expected, was a pair of rings.
Tristan Grayson took her hand and slid the ring onto her finger. Then, she bent down, picked up the other ring, and slid it onto Tristan Grayson’s.
With all the steps of the ceremony complete, they heard the priest announce, "Alright. The groom may now kiss the bride."
Mika Summers hadn’t even looked up from her ring when Tristan Grayson suddenly pulled her into his arms. He cupped her face and, without a word, gave her a deep, possessive kiss.
Her heart felt like it was about to leap out of her chest, and her body tensed. He seemed to sense it, pulling back just slightly from her lips. His voice was a low, seductive murmur as he said, "Honey, this is the ’kiss the bride’ part. No spacing out!"
