Chapter 668: Chapter 660: I Really Know I Was Wrong

Being a homewrecker, destroying another family’s happiness—that was something she, Tiana Grayson, would absolutely never do. She disdained the very thought of it!

When she, Tiana Grayson, loved, she loved with all her heart. But when she wasn’t supposed to love, she knew when to let go.

Not cling on shamelessly!

Once she sorted through her thoughts, she felt her heart gradually calm down. Her hands, clenched tight with anxiety, slowly relaxed.

She walked toward Siren’s Night. The place was exactly the same as when she’d left five years ago. The only difference was that back then, Siren’s Night had always been packed with customers, no matter when she came. But returning today, it was surprisingly desolate.

A thought couldn’t help but cross her mind.

’Did Siren go out of business?’

However, she had forgotten one crucial detail: it was now past four in the morning...

’Alright, but even in the early morning, there should be *someone* here. The emptiness today sent a chill of panic through Tiana’s heart.’

Never the bravest person to begin with, she now felt a sense of terror riding the elevator up alone.

「Second-floor bar.」

A nerve throbbed in Lucy’s brow as he watched the man and woman at the bar, drinking with their arms wrapped around each other.

He wasn’t worried about the two of them getting drunk. He was worried because of his own guilty conscience, afraid that Miss Grayson would actually show up.

But the moment he turned his head, his eyes widened in shock. It was a classic case of his worst fears coming true!

One second he was worrying about it, and the next, he saw the woman standing by the elevators.

Tiana stared at the man and woman embracing under the lights in the distance, feeling like the biggest joke in the world.

All because of a single phone call, she had rushed over impulsively, without a second thought for her own safety.

She had even forgotten that she couldn’t drive. And for what? To arrive here only to watch this little drama unfold before her.

She had known he might already be with Amelia, but she never expected that seeing it with her own eyes would be so unbearably painful.

Gone was the arrogance Lucy had on the phone. Now, he was just anxiously wringing his hands, unsure whether he should tell Young Master Joyce.

But given the circumstances, Young Master Joyce was likely too drunk to tell his head from his heels. Even if Lucy announced that Tiana was here, Young Master Joyce wouldn’t be able to explain anything. Worse, if he found out the next day that Lucy had orchestrated the whole thing, Lucy’s life wouldn’t be worth a damn.

So, Lucy chickened out.

He didn’t dare make a sound, only darting guilty glances between Tiana and the embracing couple.

Tiana fought back the urge to cry, her hands clenched into fists. She turned, stepped back into the elevator, and pressed the button to leave.

Panic seized Lucy as he watched Tiana turn to leave without a moment’s hesitation. He wanted to shout, but he didn’t dare, terrified of startling the couple next to him.

The elevator indicator showed it had reached the first floor. Lucy turned to look at the hopelessly drunk Young Master Joyce and sighed. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to help; it was just that his Young Master Joyce had the worst luck.

In his drunken stupor, Leo Joyce suddenly felt as if something precious inside him was slowly slipping away. The sensation filled him with panic. He pushed his glass aside and let his arm fall from Amelia Avery’s shoulder. He slumped onto the bar, his brow furrowed in agony as he mumbled, "Tiana, don’t go... Tiana... I really know... I was wrong... I was really wrong..."
