Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 674 - 666: Not on PurposeChapter 674: Chapter 666: Not on Purpose
Quincy’s heart clenched, and he frowned at the girl still fast asleep.
"Why... Why are you doing this to me..." Tiana said, shaking her head in distress as she choked back sobs.
He gripped Tiana’s small hands tightly and coaxed her in a soft, gentle voice, "Don’t be afraid. No one is going to hurt you."
Tiana gradually calmed down upon hearing his voice. He reached up to smooth her furrowed brow and continued to soothe her softly, "Shh, it’s okay. Don’t be afraid. With me here, no one can hurt you. No one will ever be able to."

「Siren’s Night.」
By the time Leo Joyce woke up, it was already night. He must have had too much to drink, because his head felt like it was about to split open.
He raised a hand to pat his head a couple of times, then pushed his aching body to sit up in bed.
He frowned as he looked around the familiar bedroom, trying to remember how he’d gotten here. But he had completely blacked out; he couldn’t remember a thing.
Vaguely, he remembered seeing Ian Shaw last night.
But he had absolutely no idea what they had actually talked about.
Just then, the sound of boisterous laughter and music drifted in from outside. He frowned, threw back the covers, and got out of bed.
When he opened the door and stepped out, he saw the living room sofa was already crowded with people.
They were all gathered around, some singing, some drinking.
His gaze fell on Lucy, who was at the center of it all. "Lucy, why are you all here?"
"Ah... Y-Y-Young Master Joyce..." Hearing his name, Lucy looked up. When he saw Leo Joyce, he shot to his feet in terror, stammering uneasily.
Leo Joyce looked at Lucy’s terrified expression—he looked like he’d seen a ghost—and raised an eyebrow in displeasure. "Lucy, what’s wrong? Are you sick? Or did you do something to betray me?"
"Young Master Joyce, you must be joking. H-how could I possibly do something to betray you? I... I would absolutely never dare."
There’s a saying—a guilty conscience gives you away. That perfectly described Lucy at this moment.
The more afraid he was of Young Master Joyce finding out, the more nervous he became. And the more nervous he was, the more flustered he got, not knowing where to look and just spouting whatever nonsense came to mind.
Leo Joyce had only been teasing at first. Deep down, he knew Lucy would never betray him. But seeing the man’s reaction now, it seemed his casual accusation had hit the mark; why else would he look so guilty? Leo’s brow furrowed. He walked slowly toward Lucy, his voice turning grim and cold as he spoke. "Is that so? Lucy, you need to be very clear about one thing: I, Leo Joyce, hate being deceived more than anything. If you lie to me, you know the consequences. Don’t blame me for forgetting our years of brotherhood."
"Young Master Joyce... I... I..." Lucy clasped his hands together in fear, his head bowed anxiously.
"Spit it out. Otherwise, when I find out on my own, I will not forgive you."
Lucy steeled himself, lifted his head, and said with a miserable look on his face, "Young Master Joyce, I swear it wasn’t on purpose! I... I just got so worked up that I couldn’t stop myself from calling Miss Grayson."
Sure enough, the moment Leo Joyce heard Tiana’s name, he lost his composure. "What did you say? You called Tiana? Why the hell did you call her?!"
"Y-yes... I... I called her and told her to come over here, to Siren’s Night..."
