As Fu Qian revealed the White Ring, the thick crimson surrounding him gradually came into focus.
Just like his last trip to Liliana's location, Lucid Dream activated simultaneously, doing its utmost to recreate the lake where the flowers of flesh bloomed.
Unsurprisingly, the dream remained saturated inside and out with the presence of the Red Moon, jointly controlled by the two of them.
"Truly... delicious..."
A moment later, the familiar sweet voice finally rang out, seemingly commenting on the newly formed, viscous Blood Lake.
She even chuckled.
Her emotional state really was unstable!
Fu Qian sighed inwardly, though he wasn't surprised.
During his previous attempt to complete the Pseudo-God Ritual, the Red Moon's condition had been on full display.
At the same time, her condition meant his previous pessimistic projection was likely coming true: she would be absolutely no help in identifying the correct path forward.
But that was fine. This was already enough.
If the Red Moon couldn't help, he still had Blazing Rainbow!
Maintaining his optimism, Fu Qian activated the trace of Eternity stored within the White Ring.
That seemingly familiar feeling of transcending time followed.
Almost instantly, a thread of blood wound upward from beneath his feet, circling in front of him.
In the blink of an eye, a door seemingly outlined by dark red thorns appeared before him.
Compared to the previous one, this door's design was undoubtedly more grotesque. He could even see the entire structure pulsing slightly like a living creature.
"Thanks for the hard work."
Fu Qian didn't mind in the least. After voicing his thanks, he reached out to push the door open.
Oddly enough, the strangely shaped door, which didn't look particularly heavy, refused to budge.
"Child..."
The sweet call rang out by his ear once more, its gentleness tinged with pity.
Sensing something, Fu Qian stopped and rolled up his left sleeve.
To his surprise, the wounds caused by the Dimensional Poison were covered in dense red threads that crawled over the flesh, stitching it together in the blink of an eye.
She noticed he was injured and was treating it before he left?
Come to think of it, this was the second time.
Fu Qian silently watched the process until the wounds were completely sealed.
Even the decay, which legends claimed was difficult for a Deity to cure, was suppressed. His flesh no longer disintegrated into scattered butterfly fragments.
At the same time, his hand felt lighter, and the previously unyielding Gate of Thorns slowly swung open on its own.
Looking through the doorway, he saw the exact same viscous crimson.
Except for an even more intense aura of Eternity.
How precise!
Without wasting words, Fu Qian stepped forward.

The moment he crossed the Gate of Thorns, Pseudo-God Incarnation activated as well.
The path ahead was perilous; as a professional, how could he make the mistake of lowering his guard?
There was no need for pessimism either. Compared to last time, he had much more time.
That was the point of this arrangement.
His luck seemed good today—there really were no tides this time.
Treading through the viscous, rotting gore, Fu Qian confirmed once again that the weather was fine for this trip.
He had sensed it faintly behind the door, and now standing here, only the putrid stench capable of rotting bones to the core was amicably soothing him.
Without a doubt, for someone who had already locked onto his coordinates, this was good news.
Time to get to work.
Fu Qian glanced back one last time. The Gate of Thorns still stood quietly atop the pool of blood.
Just like last time, the Red Moon had left him a way back.
Without hesitation, he plunged downward, submerging into the boundless Blood Lake.
The gentle immersion that only his calves had previously enjoyed now enveloped his entire body.
His clothes rapidly dissolved into mud. His flesh, skin, and bones softened and rotted at a visible rate, like candles melting in a frying pan.
This erosion was comparable to the Divine Blood Curse; instantly transforming his entire body into Mythical Form or adjusting his structure to create dense bone armor offered no immunity.
By this point, Fu Qian had suppressed metabolic activities like breathing. He even closed his eyes, transforming his eyelids into transparent membranes.
Naturally, the usefulness of vision in a place like this was strictly limited.
Combined with his heavily suppressed senses, he could barely see a short distance around himself.
Yet that seemed to be enough. Almost instantly, Fu Qian noticed something swaying in the gore.
It was a long feather, fully half an arm in length, glowing with gold and red.
Even in such a place, its dazzling brilliance was hard to hide. It looked as though it had been plucked from the tail of a legendary Phoenix.
Despite marveling at it, Fu Qian didn't touch or collect it for a simple reason—there was far more than just one.
Further ahead on the deeper lakebed, patches of similar long feathers hovered quietly, resembling leaping flames.
It looked far livelier down here than from above.
Without hesitation, Fu Qian swam swiftly forward, darting nimbly past the individual feathers as he headed straight for the core of Eternity.
Naturally, his passing did not go completely unnoticed.
The long, slender white worms that had previously offered him their hospitality were packed in startling density here. Disturbed by his movements, they were instantly drawn to him, swarming in hot pursuit.
Amidst this throng, Fu Qian quickly made a new discovery.
Was this... truly a Phoenix?
Amidst the increasingly dense colorful feathers, a rotting carcass the size of an adult had appeared.
Sharp claws, a hooked beak, a long neck—aside from its absurdly diminutive wings, it looked like an avian creature through and through.
Coupled with the scattered gold and red feathers all around, it easily brought to mind the legendary divine beast.
Of course, at this exact moment, the Phoenix's condition was clearly poor.
Seemingly from soaking here for too long, very little flesh remained on its surface. Bare white bones were visible everywhere.
Those bones proved quite resilient, however, showing few traces of rot.
A portion of the slender worms originally chasing Fu Qian had already lost interest in him, darting onto the skeleton to burrow in and out of it.
The skeleton showed no reaction, like a completely lifeless object.
It seemed he now knew where those feathers came from.
Stopping in his tracks, Fu Qian swept a hand across his face to help his thoroughly eroded eyelids readjust themselves, and let out a mental sigh.
Bugs were currently indulging in a feast all over his own body as well.
Fu Qian didn't disturb them. As he had noted last time, some of these bugs were in clearly abnormal states and likely acted as a form of surveillance.
If he actually killed them, it might quickly summon someone over.
So stopping wasn't because of that, naturally.
Right now, stretches of shadows lay before Fu Qian, looking at a glance very much like a giant lakebed monster.
A closer look, however, revealed they were actually layers upon layers of rotting carcasses—dozens or hundreds of them—loosely tangled together.
A single Phoenix certainly wouldn't have that many feathers, but with this quantity, the numbers seemed about right.
