Whatever the reason, it was a good thing. If both of them could directly extract Origin Energy from nodes, they could grow stronger far faster than expected.

Sylvia nodded, and Caelus immediately began forming the node into their territory.

Caelus turned toward Sylvia.

Sylvia smiled and nodded.

"The way things are going, I think we might become stronger faster in this world."

Caelus nodded.

"I think you’re right."

Then another option appeared.

Caelus was surprised. He quickly checked the available options and discovered traps, defensive weapons, cannons, mortars, crossbows, guard houses, and numerous other structures.

The system essentially allowed a conquered node to be transformed into a proper defensive outpost.

From what Caelus understood, players could enter the Origin Expanse of the Tier 2 World whenever they wanted. There was no time limit restricting their stay.

That was precisely why competition over nodes was so fierce.

Conquering one was only the beginning.

Defending it was the difficult part.

Caelus decided to leave Ayame and Freya behind to defend the newly conquered territory. He spent around four million Origin Credits constructing several defensive structures.

The expense was significant, but the nodes provided enormous amounts of Origin Credits through extraction. The investment was worthwhile.

And if he conquered more nodes, the income would only increase.

Caelus looked toward Sylvia.

The Kemisist Faction immediately sent a group to seize it.

However, Ayame and Freya were already there.

Freya looked toward the approaching faction with a grin.

"Big Brother Origin was right. We just conquered it, and people are already here trying to take it."

The Kemisist players stared at them in confusion.

"Someone already claimed it?"

"Don’t worry. This is nothing. Just two girls guarding the node."

He turned to his men.

"Kill them and take the node."

He immediately ordered an attack.

The Kemisist warriors charged forward with weapons drawn.

Freya responded by activating her powerful transformation. Golden light exploded from her body as she grew in size, her form becoming that of a majestic spirit king.

She effortlessly overwhelmed the attackers. Her sword tore through their defenses like paper, and her shout sent shockwaves rippling through the air.

Ayame moved with precision beside her. Fire swirled around her body as she danced through the enemy ranks, her blade cutting down anyone who came close.
