Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3787: Gaining Reputation

The female Divinity checked on the male Divinity and helped him get up. The Divinity was bloody, but he had already started healing. He slowly got up, disoriented for a moment, before looking toward Alex far away.

He could not find a word to say to Alex. He could only watch.

Alex himself was more tired than he would ever admit being. He looked back at the Immortals, asking out loud.

"Does anyone else wish to fight me?" he asked. "We have a few more seconds left."

No one dared say anything.

"Well then, I win."

No one could argue against that. The 10 minutes also came to an end, so Alex went up to everyone and gathered the stars.

Each one of them had to give up 13 thousand stars, which they did while holding looks of awe on their faces.

The female Divinity was the only one who hadn’t taken part in the challenge, so Alex ignored her and moved on. She seemed like she wanted to say something, but she couldn’t bring out the question.

It was the same thing everyone else wanted to ask anyway.

How had he done it?

The Divinity stared at Alex with a blank expression as he brought out the stars and handed them over. Once he was done, he finally asked the question burning in his mind.

"How did you survive my poison?" he asked. "I... I didn’t see you take anything."

Alex held a smile. "It’s my physique, Senior. I am immune to most poisons. As it turned out, that was the truth for your poison as well."

The man could hardly believe it. "I see. And how—"

He stopped himself from asking the question he knew he wouldn’t get an answer to. He simply nodded. "I can see that you will become someone big," he said. "If you keep this up, it may not be a surprise if you end up becoming a god. The Sun God."

Alex grinned before nodding toward the man.

He looked toward everyone else. "Thank you for the challenges and the stars. I will be leaving now. Goodbye."

Alex bowed toward everyone and walked away. No one could do anything to stop him. Everyone could only sit where they were and stare at the region where Alex’s final attack had clashed against the Divinity’s defensive technique.

It had created a massive crater, completely changing the structure of that location.

The Divinity himself watched the crater with a different expression from everyone else. He was perhaps the one who understood best that had he been any later in using the defensive technique, there was a massive chance that he would have died today.

It was extremely lucky that he had managed to survive at all.

"Sun God..." he said slowly, watching the disappearing figure of Alex. He knew in that moment that he would never forget about this young man ever again.

Alex allowed himself to show a tired expression once he was far away. Both his Qi and Spiritual energy were completely empty after the final attack he had used. He had put everything into it, and now there was nothing else he could do but put up a brave front.

Now that he was alone, he didn’t need that.

Alex kept walking for a long time, going far away from this place so no one among these Immortals could find him quickly. Once he was far away, he spent a few thousand stars and began cultivating to recover.

Recovery took him no more than a month, at which point he continued on his journey once again. He wandered aimlessly throughout the desert, challenging more people he came across, or being challenged.

Wherever he went, he introduced himself with just two words.

Sun God.

Before long, the name of the Sun God had spread so much that Alex couldn’t even challenge someone without them immediately conceding and running away. Gaining stars through this method became much more difficult than he had thought it would be.

It went on that way until things flipped after some time. Instead of running away, people treated him like someone important. Many of the times, Alex didn’t even have to ask them to call him the Sun God. They simply did when they saw him.

Enough about him had spread that people knew him before they even saw him.

That wasn’t something that Alex was simply noticing in the people he met, but also in the energy that was gathering in the Primordial energy that was being stored in his Dantian. The speed at which it streamed in had improved far more than before he had come to the Red Heaven Realm.

As a result, there was no doubt in his mind that asking people to call him as such had indeed made an improvement. It wasn’t as big as he would have wanted, but it made sense that it wouldn’t be, considering the people only knew him as the Sun God without really understanding what it meant for him to be the Sun God.

If they ever understood it, it might end up getting better. Until then, he could only accept what he was getting.

The months passed by, and then a few years. And finally, Alex challenged a person for the last time and gained the 5000th star after winning.

Once Alex took the star, he stared at it for a long time, unsure what it was he wanted to do next.

"I can’t believe I got to meet you," the young man, who had just lost, said.

Alex turned toward him, seeing the wide grin on his face. He narrowed his eyes for a moment.

"Challenge me again," he said.

"What?" the young man asked.

"Challenge me again."

The young man complied and challenged him.

Alex immediately increased the bet to over a million stars.

The young man could only stare with a dumb expression. He was about to give up when Alex stopped him.

"Accept the bet," Alex said. "If you do, you’ll get all of these stars."
