Alex’s idea was rather simple. The Artifact God would help him build an artifact that could produce the exact energy from the Reducing Form and use that to apply it to the artifact. As for the power, he had Ray, who could use the strongest form of energy there was in this world, which came from the decayed bodies of the Primordials.

He didn’t tell her about Ray just yet or the energy, but he made sure that she was perfectly aware that he could do what he said he could.

"How?" the Artifact God asked.

"I’m sorry, but I can’t tell you that. You must trust me for now," he told her.

The Artifact God narrowed her eyes for some time. "I think I can build something like that. I might even already have the items for that. But there is another problem."

Alex’s eyes narrowed. "What other problem?" he asked.

"I need time to think of the exact way I will be making it. I need time to think. That’s going to take a long time," she said.

Alex frowned. "How long?" he asked.

The Artifact God shrugged. "Maybe a few years if I’m lucky. Much more if I’m not. I will test it hundreds and hundreds of times to make sure I’m even getting this right. It will take a long, long time."

Alex thought for a moment and nodded. "That’s fine. We have the time."

The Artifact God gave him a doubtful look. "You have the time?" she asked. "The gods will be here any year now. Once they come, the Fire God will want to fight you right away."

Alex frowned slightly. He hated being reminded of that person whom he didn’t even know about just yet. He sighed and looked back toward Shen Yaojia.

"Yes, we can do it before the others come," Alex said.

"How?"

"Senior, I will need you to enter my Soul Space," Alex said.

The Artifact God paused for a long second, wondering if she was hearing things right. After a while, she blinked for a moment. "What?"

"Enter my Soul Space," he said again. "You can freely figure out what you need in there."

The woman wasn’t sure about that. "What do you mean? What can I do in there? Can you even keep me in there?"

She had known for some time that Alex’s Soul Space was larger than normal. The Sky God had made hints about it being similar to hers, so she wasn’t caught up on the fact that he could apparently take her in without destroying his own Soul Space.

What she was caught up on was that he believed he could hold her without letting it hurt his mind.

"Are you sure?" she asked again.

"Yes, I’m used to it. Just keep your Divine sense contained if you can, and it will be fine," Alex answered.

The woman had no reason not to believe him. "Alright, I’ve been curious for quite some time anyway. Let’s see what this Soul Space of yours is really like."

Alex opened his arms, gesturing for her to be ready.

Once the Artifact God nodded, Alex sent her into his Soul Space. She entered there so quickly that she hadn’t even realized she had arrived somewhere until the world around her was filled with fog.

A strange sensation filled her, one she couldn’t so easily explain. She looked around at the fog, trying to peer through it. But she couldn’t.

"Please do not use your Divine sense, senior. I will die," Alex quickly told her.

The Artifact God restrained herself. "What is this place? Am I standing on the ground?"

"It’s a secret realm that I took into my Soul Space," Alex answered. "There is ground underneath you because it is actual ground."

The woman was a little taken aback. "And this fog?"

"A formation," Alex answered. "There are things in this place that I do not want just anyone to see. As such, the formation keeps people from seeing all of my secrets."

"Even me? Aren’t I pretty much a teacher to you now?" the Artifact God asked.

"In a way, yes. But there are secrets that I must keep no matter what," Alex said. "If I am ever strong enough to be confident in my ability not to be chased even after revealing these things, I promise you will know about them."

The Artifact God didn’t push it. "What is up with this light? It’s quite warm. And so... sunlike."

"It’s the Nine Yang Divine Tree’s glow. That is what the people of the Nine Yang Court are after," Alex answered.

"Oh, right. Where is it?" she asked, searching around. The fog was far too thick for her to tell the direction of the tree, but based on the shadows on her palm, she could guess the direction.

"Senior, please stay where you are. I have brought you to that exact spot because it is the best in all of my Soul Space," Alex said. "There are very few spots like that one."

The Artifact God grew curious. "What is this? Why is it so special?"

"There is heavy time dilation in the spot where you are staying. If you move from there, the time dilation lessens and becomes a lot weaker. So you must stay in that place at all times," he said.

"Hmm..." The woman looked around. She tried to feel the dilation, but that wasn’t possible.

"How fast is this?" she asked.

"50 times."

For a long few seconds, the woman’s eyes remained wide in shock at the answer. Then she looked away. "I’m sorry, 50 times?"

Alex gave an affirmative sound. "That location is 50 times faster than out here. And out here, I will start cultivating at a speed that is 20 times faster. That way, together, that place will be 1000 times faster. Hopefully, you can deal with everything during that time."

The woman could hardly believe her ears anymore.

"1000 times?" she asked.

"Yes," Alex said. "Now please, you may get started, senior."
