Angel

The moment I woke up, she was still next to me.

I wasn’t angry about it. Actually, I had let her stay close to me on the beanbag.

The soft light weight of her body was resting against mine, her dark hair scattered over my arm while her breathing stayed steady and quiet.

I didn’t even realize I was smiling just by looking at her.

My chest felt light, a strange, warm sensation settling deep behind my ribs as I watched her eyelids twitch in her sleep.

After that awkward moment in the room, I went around asking every Omega on my list for a kiss.

Somehow, the way I tasted them was different from the way I liked tasting this four-eyes girl sleeping beside me.

I had dragged three different girls behind the bar stalls earlier, pressing my lips to theirs, searching for that same hot surge of energy, but everything felt dull.

It was like chewing on plain paper.

Someone even undressed right in front of me, and all I could see was April wearing a bikini.

An omega had dropped her top right in the middle of a private room, posing for me, but my brain instantly swapped her face and body for April’s flushed skin, round glasses, and dark hair.

Sexy looking ass, staring right in front of my face..

it had annoyed me so much I just walked out on her.

Then I got to Becca.

Same reaction.

Her once-magnificent curves, the ones I used to praise and worship, didn’t have the same effect on me anymore. I was about to leave when, as usual, she tempted me with her new stash.

I stayed.

Not for her body. For the weed.

The important thing was that I had finally realized something.

April January had somehow enchanted me, her pussy juice happened to be the potion she gave to me..

There was no denying it anymore, no matter how much I wanted to fight it or call her names. She had somehow snuck past my guard without even trying.

So now I had to find a way to un-enchant myself from her.

I couldn’t afford to become a simp for this kind of girl.

I was Angel Morningstar. I didn’t chase after plain, nerdy girls who puked in my mouth and whined about my daily lifestyle.

So, for now, I would just admire her peaceful breathing before I pushed her away.

Hmm...

I had a very good sleep, though.

My fingers brushed against her soft lips. Of course, I couldn’t resist pressing mine against them.

I leaned down slowly, bringing my mouth against hers in a light, soft touch. I was gentle. I didn’t want to wake her up and ruin this quiet moment.

"So lovely... stealing a kiss from your future wifey. Something you have never done before."

I immediately froze.

My heart skipped a hard beat in my chest, my lips snapping back from April’s face like I had just touched a burning stove.

When I turned around, I saw Abigail and Katie sitting on the couch.

How long had they been there?

Did they see everything?

My face turned hot, my jaw locking tight as I stared at the two of them sitting right across the room.

"To answer your questions, we’ve been here for about 20 minutes. Right, Katie?" Abigail said.

She leaned back on the cushions, holding her phone in her lap while a massive, smug grin spread across her face.

"Yes, you’re right. I think it’s even been longer than 20 minutes. We saw everything, Mommy tsundere badgirl."

Katie giggled, covering her mouth with her hand while her eyes sparkled with absolute delight.

"And we took a picture," Abigail added. "I can’t wait to make an album of this and give it to you both on your wedding day as a gift."

That girl was really trying to break my nerves.

My blood boiled instantly, a sharp glare cutting straight toward her.

"You better..." I said, realizing my voice was getting too loud.

I immediately lowered it.

I swallowed the harsh words rising in my throat, glancing down quickly at the sleeping girl still curled up against my side.

I didn’t want April to wake up.

"Aww, she’s even trying to lower her voice," Abigail teased. "That’s such a loving thing to do for a girlfriend. Have you asked her out?"

"You two, out. Get out of my hut. Go find another hut to do your rubbish."

I pointed a stiff finger toward the open doorway, keeping my tone as low and deadly as possible.

"We aren’t leaving. We’re playing a game in this hut."

I turned to my other side and saw Sabrina and Carlos.

How many people were in this hut?

I looked around, trying to find another sneaky person hiding somewhere.

Carlos was sitting on a wooden stool shuffling a deck of cards, while Sabrina stood near the small table with her arms crossed over her athletic top.

It was just the four of them, thank goodness it’s wasn’t the entire district..

"Why are you guys ganging up on me like this? What have I done to deserve this? I already occupied this hut. Go away," I commanded, still keeping my voice low.

I ran a hand over my face, letting out a long, frustrated breath through my nose.

"You ruined our fun Angel. Our afternoon game," Sabrina said. "We want this space. We’re playing indoor games here."

She stepped closer, tapping her foot against the floor with a stubborn look in her eyes.

"Can’t you see we’re busy?" I said.

I gestured down at the beanbag where April was resting her head against my hip.

"I don’t see anything."

Sabrina shrugged, completely unbothered by my warning glare. She suddenly looked past me.

"Oh, April, you’re awake! That’s awesome. Let’s play a game."

I immediately stood up from the beanbag.

My body moved on pure instinct, pulling my hands away and straightening up to cover April from their view.

Only to realize that April was still sleeping.

Her eyes were completely shut, her lips parted slightly as she let out another slow, quiet breath, totally oblivious to the noise in the room.

Everyone laughed.

Abigail, Katie, Carlos, and Sabrina all burst out into loud, ringing laughter at the same time, their voices bouncing off the wooden walls of the hut.

The noise slowly woke her up.

April stirred on the beanbag, groaning softly as her hand reached up to feel for her glasses.

Sabrina was clearly toying with my life.

What have I done to deserve this?

I glared at her. She might be my friend, but sometimes she did things that seriously vexed me.

My hands clenched into tight fists at my sides while the four of them continued chuckling at my embarrassing reaction. Sabrina leaned closer to me.

She took two steps forward, bringing her face right near my ear so the others wouldn’t hear her low whisper.

"You ruined the volleyball game for all of us, so I’m ruining your little fun. Either you play with us or get the fuck out."

I stared at her.

Her eyes were gleaming with cold triumph, a sharp smirk pulling at the corner of her lips as she stood her ground.

This bitch really came here for revenge.
