Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

Chapter 86: Angel Made A Confession

Third Person

Angel’s face changed the moment April rode off.

The confident, arrogant smirk vanished from her lips in an instant, her crimson eyes darkening as she watched the bicycle disappear down the forest trail.

Abigail was about to sit down so they could all continue with the picnic when Angel suddenly began packing everything up.

She slammed the lids back onto the plastic containers, her fingers moving fast and aggressive as she grabbed the scattered apples and grapes off the blanket.

"What are you doing?" Abigail asked.

Abigail stopped mid-motion, her eyebrows pulling together as she watched the Alpha practically throw the fruits into the basket.

"Are you blind? This picnic has ended. I’m leaving," Angel said.

Her raspy voice came out sharp and cold, her jaw clenched tight as she refused to make eye contact with anyone around her.

"But what about the food and fruit? Let’s eat first. You said I could eat," Abigail complained.

"I said you and your so-called friends could eat. But since you are not complete, I’m out of this place. Coco needs her nap time. Come on Coco we are leaving this place.."

Angel snapped the container lid shut with a loud plastic click, her tone clipped and completely unyielding.

Angel finished arranging all the food back into the basket. Even the milk Coco had been drinking was covered with a lid.

She didn’t leave a single piece behind, sealing the small pet dish before wiping a spot of white liquid off her thumb with a paper napkin.

Then she scooped Coco up and placed her inside the basket.

The orange cat let out a quiet meow, settling into the woven corner as Angel pulled the soft cloth cover over the top opening.

"Oh, I see. Tu mujer 1is not here, and now you are angry, huh?" Carlos teased.

He crossed his arms over his chest, a cheeky, playful grin spreading across his face as he nudged Sabrina with his elbow.

Angel ignored him.

She bent down, grabbing the corners of the checkered fabric and snapping it into the air to shake off the stray leaves.

She stood up, folded the cloth, and placed it back into the basket.

Her motions were swift, heavy, and full of raw, unchanneled anger that made her shoulders tense up under her shirt.

"Fuck you all. Say whatever you want to say. I don’t fucking care anymore. And don’t think I’ve forgotten what you all did last night. I was having a good time with four eyes until you all started poisoning her tiny mind,"

She turned on her heel, pointing a long, trembling finger right at the group, her voice booming through the quiet forest clearing.

"Oh, chill, Alpha. No one is poisoning April’s mind. She was just..." Katie tried to explain.

Katie took a small step forward, waving her hands in a peaceful gesture to try and cool down the Alpha’s temper.

"And you, boo-boo Katie... I gave you their contact as a reward for giving me information on four eyes, and this is how you repay me? Turning my chicas into strangers and plotting against me... just watch and see me become the villain in your harem story... you are not going to have a happy ending with any of them.."

Angel cut her off without a second thought, her crimson eyes flashing with pure fury as she stepped closer to the Omega girl.

"You are no friend of mine. You just used me to bag yourselves twoamantes mexicanas.1"

Things had been going well between her and April until April started changing after entering the District.

She should have allowed that girl leave yesterday when she wanted to.

Back at the mansion, it had just been Angel and April. Now, there were too many people surrounding April, making the girl change the way she thought.

The quiet, obedient girl who used to stay in her room was suddenly standing tall, talking back, and demanding absolute devotion before letting anyone near her.

Last night, Angel would have had sex with April if her so-called friends hadn’t planted those doubts in April’s head.

Angel had come to the conclusion that the four of them were the ones who had put the thought into April’s head that she wanted Angel to commit only to her.

It couldn’t have come from April alone. Someone must have spent hours talking into the Omega’s ear, filling her head with wild ideas about love and loyalty.

Sitting alone in the gym had made her realize that.

She just wanted to have a little picnic with April, find a way for all of them to leave, and spend some time alone together.

But April had been the first to leave.

"Hey, don’t shout at her. If you’re angry with us, just say so," Sabrina said, stepping in front of Katie.

Sabrina shifted her weight, placing herself directly between Angel’s glaring face and Katie’s small frame.

"Yes. Don’t talk to our cariño1 like that," Carlos added.

Carlos stepped up right beside his sister, his broad shoulders squaring off to protect Katie from Angel’s harsh words.

Watching the twins defend her made Katie grin. The effort she had put into making the twins fall for her was clearly paying off.

She leaned back against Sabrina’s arm, a small, satisfied smile touching her lips as she watched the two Alphas stand their ground for her.

"Oh, Angel, you need to stop this childish act of yours. It’s not leading you anywhere," Abigail said, clearly annoyed by her behavior. "If you like this girl, just admit it. Stop acting like you don’t...."

"So what if I like that girl? Why do I have to tell it to your face, huh?" Angel snapped. "You all should have just vanished the moment you saw me here. But no, instead you wanted to have a fucking picnic. Why would I want to have a picnic with you fake, fake friends? I wanted to have it with April, and you failures just ruined it....."

Angel waved her hand wildly through the air, her voice echoing loudly off the surrounding trees as her temper completely took over her judgment.

The more Angel lashed out, the less she realized that she was practically confessing to her friends.

Her face was flushed red, her breathing heavy, and every aggressive word coming out of her mouth was centered entirely on one single person.

They simply stood there, trying to hold back their laughter.

Because with every angry word Angel said, she was slowly revealing exactly how she felt about April.

And Angel Morningstar had absolutely no idea.

She was so blinded by her own rage and pride that she couldn’t even hear the words leaving her own mouth.

Angel turned away, still furious.

She grabbed the heavy handle of the food basket, lifting it off the grass with a sharp jerk of her arm.

"I’m surrounded by a bunch of idiots."

She stomped away toward the dark tree line, her boots crushing dry leaves and twigs with every heavy step she took.

The moment she walked far enough away, the four of them burst into laughter.

Their loud, chaotic laughter broke out across the quiet shore, echoing over the lake as soon as Angel’s figure disappeared into the woods.

"She admitted it," Carlos whispered.

"Completely," Sabrina replied.

Katie smiled. "She’s so fucking in love. I can not wait to tell April..."

Abigail shook her head.

"She is the real idiot.. in love..."
