Ryan was still lost in his own thoughts.

He was trying to understand the strange sensation that had spread through his body when he and Sora had accidentally kissed.

But when he noticed Sora staring directly at him, he suddenly panicked.

His expression changed.

Almost instinctively, he withdrew his hand and immediately created some distance between them.

Then his silver-blue tail swept through the water.

With a powerful flick, Ryan turned and swam toward the shore.

He moved so quickly that Sora could barely react.

In the blink of an eye, he had disappeared, leaving only a series of ripples spreading across the surface of the hot spring.

Sora stared at the ripples for a long time.

"...Did he just run away?"

She couldn’t believe it.

Ryan had actually fled in panic.

Sora tilted her head.

"Is he really that shy?"

A strange thought suddenly entered her mind.

Perhaps she had been approaching Ryan in the wrong way all along.

She had assumed that his interest in high technology was her biggest advantage.

But after what had just happened...

Maybe there was another way to approach him.

Sora’s eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

Interesting.

She might have discovered a completely different strategy for tomorrow’s date.

After Ryan left, the hot spring slowly returned to its usual peaceful state.

Sora shook her head and decided not to overthink it.

She finished washing her face and returned to her skincare routine.

She took out the pearl mask she had prepared earlier and carefully applied it to her face.

Then she activated her wood-type ability.

A faint sensation of warmth spread across her skin as her ability absorbed and nourished her body.

Sora closed her eyes for a moment.

The effect was surprisingly comfortable.

She had already lost a considerable amount of weight, and her figure had developed into a shape she was much more satisfied with.

But her face was still a problem.

She picked up the mirror and examined herself carefully.

"Why am I still so different from them?"

Sora stared at her reflection.

She was clearly Lyra and Martin’s biological daughter.

Yet she hadn’t inherited Lyra’s narrow face and large double eyelids.

At least, not completely.

However, after remembering her appearance with makeup from the previous night, Sora noticed something interesting.

When she enlarged her eyes with makeup and added shading to her face, her features actually looked surprisingly similar to Lyra’s.

Sora touched her cheek thoughtfully.

"If only this homemade foundation lasted longer."

She would happily wear makeup every day if she could.

Unfortunately, the materials available to her were extremely limited.

The foundation was temporary, and she didn’t have access to modern cosmetics.

She could only make do with what she had.

After finishing her skincare, Sora returned home.

A good night’s sleep passed quickly.

The following morning, Sora woke up early.

She went for her usual run, washed herself afterward, and then headed directly toward the Wild Kitchen.

As soon as she entered, however, she noticed something unusual.

It wasn’t even breakfast time yet.

But several people were already sitting around the round table.

Sora stopped.

Why are they here so early?

She looked toward them.

Lucas, Xavier, and Ace were sitting together.

The moment Sora entered, all three simultaneously looked her up and down.

Their synchronized reaction made Sora immediately suspicious.

She glanced down at herself.

Her clothing seemed perfectly normal.

Nothing was out of place.

She checked her skirt.

Nothing.

She checked her shoes.

Nothing.

Her hair?

Normal.

Sora raised an eyebrow.

"What are you three looking at?"

Xavier was the first to withdraw his gaze.

He looked at Sora’s clothing once more before answering casually,

"Nothing."

Lucas also relaxed.

He had been checking whether she had dressed up for the date.

Seeing that she hadn’t, he secretly felt relieved.

Ace’s gaze lingered slightly longer.

His eyes moved over Sora’s clothes.

He was particularly relieved to see that she wasn’t wearing the feather dress he had painstakingly made for her.

That dress had taken him a great deal of effort.

He had originally hoped that Sora would wear it during her date with Ryan.

But now that he thought about it, he suddenly felt uncomfortable.

No.

He couldn’t let Ryan benefit from the dress he had made for Sora.

If Sora wore his feather dress on her date with another beastman, wouldn’t that mean all his effort had been wasted?

It would almost be like making a wedding dress for someone else.

Ace immediately looked away.

"I just wanted to see how you were dressed today."

Sora stared at him.

She couldn’t understand these three.

They had woken up early just to inspect what she was wearing?

"You’re all so bored."

She shook her head and walked into the kitchen.

She had more important things to worry about.

Breakfast.

Fortunately, her flour supply made preparing food much easier now.

In the past, Sora had needed to constantly wander through the forest looking for food.

Every meal had depended on what she could find that day.

Now that she had flour, things were much more convenient.

She hadn’t eaten noodles for quite some time.

So today, she decided to make belt noodles.

She opened the wooden container where she stored her flour.

After looking inside, she frowned.

There wasn’t much left.

In fact, the remaining flour was barely enough for one breakfast.

"I need to grind more flour soon."

She took an appropriate amount and poured it into a ceramic basin.

Then she added a small amount of salt.

Gradually, she poured in warm water while stirring the flour.

The mixture slowly changed from loose powder into a rough dough.

Sora continued kneading.

She worked the dough until it became smooth and elastic.

Then she let it rest.

While the dough rested, she went into the forest to gather some wild vegetables and garlic.

As she collected the ingredients, Sora noticed something that concerned her.

Her supply of garlic had decreased significantly.

She frowned.

At this rate, we’ll eventually run out.

Primitive society might have abundant natural resources, but that didn’t mean everything was endless.

Seasons changed.

Weather changed.

Some plants flourished during certain periods and disappeared during others.

If she wanted a stable supply, she couldn’t rely entirely on wild plants.

She needed to start cultivating some of these useful plants herself.

Especially garlic.

It was too valuable as a seasoning to let the supply disappear.

After gathering enough vegetables and garlic, Sora returned to the Wild Kitchen.

She used a wooden ladle made from a wild fruit shell to scoop water from the ceramic jar.

After washing the vegetables and garlic, she began chopping.

The stone knife in her hand was functional, but far from ideal.

It was slightly dull.

Sora had been using it for a while, yet she still hadn’t become accustomed to working with such a crude blade.

She glanced at it thoughtfully.

Then she remembered her metal-type ability.

Her ability could detect metals and minerals.

That meant...

Perhaps she could find iron ore.

If she could locate iron, she might eventually be able to make a proper metal knife.

That would make cooking much easier.

"I really should look for some iron."

Sora made a mental note.

She continued chopping.

Soon, the garlic was finely cut.

The dough had rested long enough.

Sora divided it into several pieces.

She rolled each piece into a long strip and brushed the surface with a thin layer of oil to prevent sticking.

Then she covered the dough with large, clean leaves.

She let it rest again.

Once the dough had reached the right texture, Sora picked up one piece with both hands.

She began pulling it.

Slap.

Stretch.

Slap.

Stretch.

The dough gradually became longer and thinner.

The three beastmen sitting at the round table immediately became interested.

A moment ago, they had looked bored.

Now all three were watching Sora intently.

Their eyes followed every movement of her hands.

Sora had become noticeably stronger recently.

Her movements were fast and confident.

She handled the dough with remarkable ease.

Xavier watched her for a long moment.

The more he looked at her, the more satisfied he felt.

Where could anyone find a female like Kaelira?

She could cook.

She could make pottery.

She could refine salt.

She could create strange foods.

She could even teach others how to make them.

She was becoming more and more capable.

Xavier’s eyes softened.

His female really was special.

Beside him, Lucas’s tail began wagging slightly.

He stared at the dough with anticipation.

Today’s noodles are definitely going to be delicious.

He was already imagining the taste.

The aroma of food was enough to make him impatient.

Soon, the water in the pot began boiling.

Sora picked up the long strands of dough and placed them into the boiling water.

The noodles immediately spread through the water.

Just then, Lukan arrived.

He walked toward the table and sat down in his usual place.

His expression was calm and unreadable.

His gaze, however, immediately settled on Sora.

Sora stirred the noodles carefully.

Lukan’s eyes brightened.

"Kaelira."

Sora glanced at him.

Lukan smiled.

"You made something delicious again today."

Sora didn’t even react.

She had heard compliments like that from him hundreds of times.

By now, she was completely immune.

She simply continued stirring the noodles.

Lukan wasn’t discouraged.

Instead, his smile deepened.

He knew Sora well enough to understand that her indifference didn’t mean she disliked hearing it.

Around the table, Xavier and Ace exchanged glances.

Lucas looked at the boiling pot.

And somewhere nearby, Ryan was undoubtedly preparing for the date that awaited him.

Sora, meanwhile, had no idea that the peaceful breakfast she was preparing was about to become the beginning of another round of competition among her beast husbands.
