"Indeed, men’s and women’s thinking differ; women enjoy imagining things, whereas men are more practical." At least, Jasmine Yale felt that Will Caddel was such a person.
Will Caddel chuckled, "That’s individual difference."
They strolled along a long maple leaf-lined walkway, with few people around.
Jasmine Yale wore a refreshing floral dress, walking by the roadside.
Will Caddel walked with her, his suit jacket draped over his arm.
Jasmine Yale didn’t wear high heels; she walked freely, at times glancing at the sky, and at times taking deep breaths. Such moments were serene and tranquil.

"You like this?" Will Caddel stood beside her.
"It’s a gift for you." Jasmine Yale purchased it and placed it in his palm. "Thank you for accompanying me on this outing."
Will Caddel was somewhat surprised, a light flashed in his eyes, and he soon chuckled quietly, "Is it really for me?"
"Is it too cheap?"
"With gifts, it’s the thought that counts, not the price. This pendant is quite ingenious, very interesting." Will Caddel carefully put it away.
"The sentiment is certainly sincere. Thank you, CEO Caddel, for nurturing and taking care of me during this time."
"Must you say it so formally? You know I don’t like hearing that."
"Then shall I not say it? Alright, let’s continue walking. This path is so long; I wonder if we can keep walking along it..."
"Let’s go, as far as we can." Will Caddel gently placed the pendant in his trouser pocket, accompanied Jasmine Yale, and continued forward.
The maple scent was sweet, and the breeze was refreshing.
Such moments were slow and comfortable, making Jasmine Yale immerse herself in them, feeling neither hot nor cool.
She walked slowly, and Will Caddel matched her pace.

The gentle shadow of the maple leaves fell on her face, enveloping her brows and eyes in a faint, soft warmth.
In that moment, Will Caddel thought, perhaps this is the tranquility of time.
