From Wizard Apprentice to Conqueror of Myriad Worlds
Chapter 190 - 110: Became FamousChapter 190: Chapter 110: Became Famous
Mo Ning’s "Triangular Wing bombing run" lasted a full half-hour. It was only when his Spiritual Power had been nearly halved, down to 55%, that he reluctantly turned back.
The minds of newcomers weren’t stable. Once their Spiritual Power dropped below half, negative symptoms like headaches, fatigue, and drowsiness would follow one after another.
Only after condensing the first Spirit Ring would one’s Spiritual World become more stable, at which point the warning threshold would drop from 50% to 20%.
The results of the bombing run were nothing short of bountiful.
Of the three Lord Monkeys, Mo Ning had forcefully eliminated two.
The first was killed by a single, unexpected, fatal shot from his [Thunderbolt Spear].
The second one took a bit more effort.
Realizing there was a terrifying enemy in the sky, the creature used every trick it had, manipulating the surrounding branches to weave a massive wooden ball around itself, layer by layer, holing up in a desperate defensive posture.
Mo Ning unleashed two bolts of lightning, but they only managed to char the outer layer of branches. The Lord Monkey hiding deep inside, on the other hand, actually received a light "Electric Therapy massage."
He decisively switched tactics—dropping two [Blazing Fireballs] from the sky.
These Spiritual Bursting Balls, which sold for 5 Black Tower Points each, were a real bargain. He had bought four of them on a whim.
The bursting balls slammed into the wooden sphere and exploded with a ROAR. Violent flames instantly engulfed the entire structure.
Covered in raging flames, the Lord Monkey scrambled out of the sea of fire, its miserable wails echoing through the forest.
But a bolt of lightning was already lying in wait, and it pierced straight through its skull—clean and decisive.
In addition, Mo Ning randomly selected sixteen "lucky monkeys," executing the ones that looked particularly strong with his [Thunderbolt Spear].
He was completely confident that for a long time to come, the monkey troop in the forest would tremble in fear whenever they heard the sound of thunder.
After the bombing run, he made a point to land in the forest and haul the two Lord Monkey corpses onto the Triangular Wing.
As far as he knew, the short, sharp horn on a Lord Monkey’s forehead was quite valuable, worth at least 60 Black Tower Points each.
Including the other Spiritual Materials, the total value of a single Lord Monkey was no less than 100 Black Tower Points. How could he possibly pass that up?
The fog was thick, making the Triangular Wing practically invisible as it blended in. Entering the forest to retrieve the bodies posed no danger.
However, taking off with the heavy cargo proved a bit difficult. Mo Ning had to cast the Trick [Gale] three times in a row to barely lift the Triangular Wing back into the sky.
Just as the two Third Level Female Apprentices had predicted, the rest of the assessment devolved into unremarkable garbage time.
The shabby camp the newcomers had painstakingly built was originally the most dangerous place in the entire Mist Valley.
But after Mo Ning single-handedly crushed the monkey troop, those eerie green eyes no longer dared to approach the edge of the forest. The camp, contrary to all expectations, had become the safest area.
However, the newcomers didn’t let their guard down.
Under Princess Phoebe’s meticulous direction, everyone worked tirelessly to fortify the camp.
By nightfall, they had managed to transform the dilapidated Sanctuary into a remarkably sturdy fortress.
The outer wooden wall went from a single row of logs to a triple row, and its height was doubled. Outside the wall, they had densely installed rows of sharp cheval de frise, enough to withstand the charge of monsters like forest boars.

The bustling construction project in the Battle Group’s camp left the two Female Apprentices not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
Nasha couldn’t help but shake her head repeatedly. "The Mist Valley trial has been running for so many years, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen a large-scale construction project."
A hint of amusement danced in Mansha’s charming eyes. "This is the strangest wilderness survival I’ve ever seen."
Meanwhile, on the Light Curtain displaying the Sanctuary, the pace of time seemed to slow.
The Triangular Wing, having performed meritorious service, had been folded into a neat cube and was leaning quietly in a corner.
The two diligent young women had finished processing their hunt and were now each engrossed in a portable Divination Manual, reading intently under the warm yellow light.
Mo Ning, meanwhile, sat upright at the stone table. He spread out a stack of pristine white scale pattern paper, took up his pen, and wrote a line of elegant Secret Spirit Text:
A Guide to the Structural and Aerodynamic Design of the Triangular Wing—The Design of a Novel and Practical New Type of Flying Vehicle and Its Tactical Value on the Battlefield.
The gazes of the two Female Apprentices swept across the paper, and they both caught sight of a few key words at almost the same time.
Mansha stared at words like "novel" and "practical," a subtle and complex expression on her lovely face.
Any Third Level Apprentice knew what it meant to include those two adjectives in a title.
Either one was a word that countless Apprentices dreamed of putting in their titles but never dared to write.
As for using both at the same time, the vast majority of Apprentices wouldn’t even dare to imagine it.
But for this paper, the inclusion of those words was nothing short of well-deserved.
Nasha felt like her horizons had been broadened. "How did the newcomer assessment turn into a place for studying and writing papers?"
Mansha’s red lips parted slightly as she sighed. "A clever kid. He knows to use a paper to maximize his own benefits."
’Was the design of the Triangular Wing difficult?’
’Not really.’
’Was it difficult to combine the Triangular Wing with Witchcraft and figure out a system of "aerodynamic design"?’
’Also not difficult.’
’Any Third Level Apprentice with a decent foundation in Divination could figure it out without too much trouble.’
’But not one of those Third Level Apprentices had the flash of genius—that spark of Spiritual Light—like that kid did, to conceive of a flying vehicle like the Triangular Wing.’
Mansha glanced at her colleague and asked probingly, "He’s writing so proficiently. This can’t be his first time writing a paper, can it?"
