Mirabella swam with measured, weightless grace through the crushing depths of the dark sea, her black God-class armor cutting through the water toward the ruined entrance of the primary structure ahead.

She arrived at the shattered doorway, passing under a collapsing archway of ancient stone, and moved deeper into the grand, flooded hall:

’Luckily, I can now track the gemstone.’ She thought, her eyes scanning the precise holographic map hovering on her helmet’s heads-up display.

"Human!! Why are you here?!!"

Mirabella stopped instantly, her armored boots hovering above the algae-covered floor as she stared at the beings blocking the corridor. They possessed the upper body of a human—chiseled, aquatic warriors—and the sleek, shimmering lower body of a deep-sea fish.

"Mermaids?" Mirabella was stunned, as she stared at the two mermen before her.

’How did Mermaids get on Earth? Did the spatial gateway also send them here?’ She thought in genuine surprise, her mind processing the unexpected presence of an alien aquatic race inside a drowned terrestrial holy site.

The two mermen before her were clad in intricate silver armor that gleamed even in the dark water, and both were armed with long, glowing tridents. Those were true Legendary-class artifacts, infused with high-tier energy.

’Should I attack? No, they didn’t attack, I shouldn’t.’ She thought logically, floating calmly before them in her imposing black armor.

’They also speak English, so we can make peace or something.’ She thought, deciding that unnecessary bloodshed inside an unknown domain was inefficient. She answered clearly:

"I am here in search of a gem." She said.

"....?!"

The two mermen were completely stunned. They looked at one another in sheer disbelief, then turned their glowing eyes back to Mirabella’s armored figure.

"You can speak our language?" The one on the right asked in shock, his grip tightening slightly on his spear.

"...?!"

Now, Mirabella was thoroughly confused. ’Wait, does that mean I can understand them, and when I speak, my words get translated to their language? Is this a hidden skill I don’t know about?’ She thought to herself, suspecting her recent evolution or the system’s ambient translation matrix was automatically bridging the linguistic gap. She offered a calm nod:

"Yes, I can understand you... I come in peace, and only after my objective." She offered smoothly.

’These two are Fusion stage cultivators, far stronger than Lv500 Fighters. My weakest Subordinate is a Great Celestial stage, and that Dragon can kill ten of them.’ She analyzed, weighing the tactical balance. Even though she possessed the absolute, world-shattering power to wipe out the entire sea with a single spell, for once, Mirabella chose to offer peace.

The two guards stared at one another again, holding a silent, tense communication. Finally, with a synchronized nod, they turned their tails and swam gracefully away into the dark corridor:

"Follow us." They said in unison.

Mirabella stared at the two silver figures for a brief second, then slowly followed behind them, moving deeper into the submerged labyrinth of Vatican City.

__

[Vatican Necropolis.]

Mirabella followed the two aquatic warriors into the subterranean depths of the hall. But instead of seeing a dark, claustrophobic underground cave or muddy archaeological dig, she met a gigantic, breathtaking Silver City, glowing brilliantly with polished marbles and raw, phosphorescent gemstones. The architecture was an impossible fusion of ancient terrestrial majesty and high-tier aquatic engineering.

She blinked under her visor, turning her gaze to the environment telemetry detailing her coordinates on her helmet:

{Sea depth: 800 Meters From The surface.}

’So deep... It shouldn’t be, Vatican City isn’t an island, so even if it sank, or got swallowed, it shouldn’t be this deep down. And I won’t also call it a global crisis, because the water only affected this region. Then where did all this water appear from?’ She thought, a slight, inquisitive frown appearing on her face beneath the faceplate. The spatial anomaly governing this drowned realm defied standard geographical logic.

Mirabella moved her visor’s gaze around as the two guards led her through the massive, open city gates. She saw siren children playing with glowing coral spheres and commoners swimming gracefully around the paved silver streets. Some were chatting happily outside pearl-encrusted structures, but the moment they noticed her—a strange, dry-land creature without a tail, encased in pitch-black armor—they quickly moved backward into the alleys, thoroughly scared.

This confused Mirabella even more. ’I am so confused, how long has this city been here? Was it here before Galaxy Fall descended? Or did a whole city appear after Galaxy Fall? I am so confused... Someone should better be in there who’s ready to explain.’ She thought, maintaining a steady pace as she silently followed the two guards, passing by bustling underwater storefronts and frightened civilians. Some of the older merfolk even glared at her with deep-seated rage and pure killing intent, clearly harboring resentment for surface dwellers, but none dared to get anywhere near her or her silver escort.

__

After ten minutes of swimming through the sprawling, illuminated city, they finally arrived at the foot of a towering, breathtaking Silver Palace that dwarfed the surrounding buildings.

"Stop!"

The two elite guards stationed at the grand palace gates crossed their heavy halberds, stopping the two escort guards leading her. Mirabella also stopped her propulsion, floating silently as she watched her escorts step forward and whisper urgently to the palace guards.

’Two Celestial Stage cultivators... With these two fighters, they could even rule humans, but they chose to stay low. Why?’ She thought. She raised her head, looking up at the impossible scale of the palace’s highest spires:

’This castle is made of complete diamond... This much pure diamond would cost hundreds of trillions back in the days before the system arrived.’

CLICK!

The heavy, resonant sound of the primary mechanism unlocking drew her attention back to the four guards. The ancient gates began to swing inward.

"Come."

The two mermen leading her said again, turning to swim into the inner sanctuary. Mirabella nodded, floating forward to follow behind them. She passed through sprawling, breathtaking underwater gardens filled with glowing anemones, floating lotus crystals, and strange, luminescent flora that danced in the pressurized currents.

{DING.}

{Oxygen Detected.}

Mirabella blinked as the system notification flashed in her field of vision. Realizing she had entered a pressurized, air-filled domain, she reached up and lightly tapped her Galaxy bracelet. The next moment, her sleek, dark helmet opened smoothly, retracting down into the neck of her suit, freeing her long, flowing blue hair to fall over her shoulders.

BAM!!

The massive, crystalline double doors at the end of the grand foyer opened wide, revealing a magnificent court. The two mermen entered inside first. Mirabella took a deep, refreshing breath of the purified air, her blue eyes flashing with calm, unwavering authority as she stepped forward, entering the towering Diamond Castle.
