[Vatican City.]

The spatial coordinates aligned, and Mirabella appeared on the air, hovering effortlessly against the gravity of the ruined planet, with Cupcake perched securely on her shoulder. The two stared down at the vast, unnatural sea of dark, churning water below them. A slight, troubled frown formed on both of their faces. What was once the spiritual center of the human world had been completely erased from the map, replaced by a bleak, endless expanse of murky waves.

"Is this Vatican City?" Cupcake asked in shock, staring at the sea of water, not a single Life form or even any sign of a city ever being here was left. The absolute devastation spoke volumes of the sheer planetary trauma the Earth had endured.

"It seems after Galaxy Fall descended, the water rose and flooded the entire city, drowning everything under." Mirabella stated, her tone analytical but underscored by a heavy reality.

"Then, what about the people? Are you saying none survived?" Cupcake asked, her eyes wide opened, struggling to process the astronomical death toll of such a sudden deluge.

"That is the only explanation." Mirabella said, and without a moment of hesitation, she angled her body and dived towards the sea. To her, mourning the dead was a luxury; securing the means to save the living was the absolute priority.

"Hey! What are you doing?!!" Cupcake exclaimed in shock, tightly holding onto Mirabella’s neck to brace against the sudden wind pressure.

"The gemstone is deep inside the Vatican Necropolis. When the world was still stable; it used to be an underground archaeological site and historic burial place said to contain the tomb of someone great, I didn’t give a fuck about its history, so I have no idea who was buried in there! Anyway, if the city is indeed swallowed by the sea, we must enter it and search." She said.

"Yes, I get it, but... This water isn’t clean. I wonder how many creatures died in there, it should be corrupted by now." Cupcake reasoned, her sharp senses picking up the foul miasma radiating from the dark waves.

Mirabella stopped directly above the sea surface, her boots hovering just inches from the polluted water, and slowly nodded her head: "I am immune to all poison, but swimming in water filled with corpse, that’s too much."

Even with her divine constitution, the psychological disgust of wading through a mass aquatic grave was a line she preferred not to cross. She stretched her hand high above her head, tapping into a spatial vault she reserved only for absolute necessities:

"I haven’t used this in a while, Nexus Battleship, come out!!"

BOOOOM!!!

The fabric of space above Mirabella violently shattered. From the void, a gigantic golden battleship flew out, casting a massive, imposing shadow over the dark sea. Forged with the peak technology of the higher realms and plated in indestructible divine alloys, it was so huge it covered half of where Vatican City used to stand.

"So big?! This battleship is enough to destroy this planet!" Cupcake exclaimed in shock, staring at the battleship, hovering silently above them despite its massive tonnage, its countless plasma and energy-pulse guns all perfectly primed and ready to fire.

"Come on."

A seamless beam of teleportation light shot down from the Nexus Battleship’s underbelly, completely enveloped Mirabella, and Cupcake, and smoothly pulled them inside.

___

[Cockpit.]

The interior of the ship was a stark contrast to the ruined world outside—pristine, illuminated by soft blue holographic lights, and humming with highly advanced, silent energy cores.

"Welcome Commander!"

An advanced AI robot, its chassis gleaming with silver chronometal, moved smoothly towards the two, bowing slightly at Mirabella with programmed reverence.

"How is the ship these months?" Mirabella asked, casually walking inside the bridge. She moved towards the main command seat—a luxurious, ergonomic throne of dark leather and glowing interface panels—and balanced into it, her posture instantly shifting to that of a seasoned supreme commander.

"Commander, everything is going smoothly... We have followed your order, and built countless drones, each has the powers to take down Lv500 fighters." The Robot said respectfully, displaying a holographic grid of the ship’s internal manufacturing bays.

"Lv500, in the Third World and fourth, those should but five stars cultivators... Not bad." She nodded, acknowledging the terrifying automated army at her disposal. She raised a finger and pointed firmly at the visual display of the sea below:

"Take us into the sea, I am in a hurry."

"Of course." The Robot moved towards the primary controls, and expertly pressed both its metallic hands on the two glowing screens tablets.

Moment next, the whole ship Vibrated, its massive thrusters coming to life with a deep, planetary hum, and shot downward, seamlessly breaking the surface tension and entering the sea below.

"Such a nice Battleship, did your Mother gave you this, Master!?" Cupcake asked, casually walking on the edge of the central command table, staring at the clean and intricately designed huge cockpit.

"Yeah, in the third and fourth world, this Battleship is amongst the best..." Mirabella answered, a rare flicker of warmth passing through her eyes at the mention of her mother. It was a tangible piece of her heritage, a fortress gifted to protect her when raw power wasn’t enough. As she spoke, the ship moved deeper through the crushing pressure of the sea depth.

BAM!

All its high-intensity front lights switched on simultaneously, brightly illuminating the murky path before him. The water was thick with floating debris and silt. The two stayed completely silent, staring grimly through the reinforced viewport at the terrifying aquatic monsters moving in the distance, with countless dead, bloated human and animal bodies moving passively all over the place in the currents.

’It seems the monsters didn’t finish their meals.’ She muttered inwardly, her fists clenched tight against the armrests of her command chair. The sheer scale of the slaughter was sobering.

’Vatican City has at least 800 to 1,000 people, it’s understandable... But this sea didn’t cover only Vatican City, but other cities close by... When I sent my Subordinates to clean the Gatekeepers, I didn’t know about this. Maybe they thought it was just a sea of water.’ She exhaled softly, rationalizing the oversight of her team. The devastation was so complete that the area simply registered as an empty ocean on standard scans. Finally, through the gloom, she began seeing the jagged, moss-covered silhouette of ancient Roman architecture and drowned cathedrals.

"Commander, we arrived." The Robot said, smoothly decelerating and stopping the massive battleship before a huge, partially collapsed building, and opened space in the surrounding water using localized gravity repulsors.

"This should be Piazza San Pietro. Okay, land at the center of the square." She ordered, recognizing the grand, circular layout of the once-magnificent St. Peter’s Square beneath the layers of aquatic rot.

"Received!"

The Battleship slowly descended, its repulsors clearing the debris, and heavily landed on the already destroyed square. The sheer scale of the vessel dwarfed the ruins, the size of the ship bigger than it, crushing the ancient cobblestones beneath its landing gear.

"Alright... Cupcake, return to the golden Palace. I will handle this alone." Mirabella commanded, knowing the confined, flooded spaces of the Necropolis required absolute, unhindered focus.

"Alright." Cupcake nodded, understanding her Master’s operational boundaries, and shattered into brilliant white lights, instantly teleporting away to the safety of the inner dimension.

"Commander, should I attack any hostile that gets close?" The Robot asked, turning its optical sensors to Mirabella, its defense protocols fully armed.

"Yes... As for me." Mirabella stood from the command chair and lightly tapped her Galaxy bracelet.

A liquid, metallic resonance filled the room as a God-class armor slowly spread from her hand. It wove over her skin like living shadow, moving to her body, and finally enveloping her legs. In seconds, she was fully clad in a streamlined, absolute-defense black God-class armor, a suit capable of withstanding the crushing depths of an ocean or the vacuum of space.

"I will search inside." She said, her voice turning metallic and synthesized as the sleek faceplate helmet closed shut, instantly giving her advanced night vision, coupled with high-penetration X-rays scanner overlaying her HUD.

The hunt for the final gemstone had begun.
