"No one can... But take note, those from the fifth world, are a lot stronger than us here, but even with this strength, they couldn’t open the gateway, because the one who placed it was a very powerful fairy. The first child of Heaven."
Mirabella froze, as Adira’s memories flooded her mind, she blinked:
The legendary, tragic figure the Mermaid Queen spoke of with such reverence was none other than the fragile, yet terrifyingly powerful entity Mirabella had bound to her own fate. The pieces of the puzzle locked into place, expanding her understanding of the universe’s history.
"First child of Heaven? What happened to her?" She asked.
"The ancient texts said she fought on the final battlefield, and used her blood, and body as a sacrifice to seal the gateway. She even went to the trouble of sending her soul in one of the lower worlds, to locate a new successor, anyone she picked will become the next Heaven child and will be responsible for the Primordial gateway... But that unlucky person will become the main enemy of the Evil one. In short, every single Worshiper under the Evil one, who is located in the four worlds will be after this person’s life, I pity them." She said with a hint of pity.
The garden fell silent, save for the artificial rustling of the terrestrial leaves.
’Umm... Should I tell her I am the one she is referring to?’
Mirabella thought to herself, weighing the risk of revealing her status against the trust she had for her mother’s best friend. She had already drawn the ire of the Great one and slaughtered his Aeons; painting a target on her back was nothing new. She finally decided to say it:
"Umm... Aunty, I am the one you’re Referring to, I am the next Heaven child."
"Oh, Okay, where was...."
Seraphina froze, and snapped her head towards Mirabella:
"WHAT?!!!" She screamed, her voice reverberating all over the city, stunning everyone both inside and outside the place.
The sheer acoustic force of a Mid-Divine Sovereign’s shock caused the magical barrier above them to ripple violently. Outside the palace walls, the silver-armored guards gripped their tridents, thinking the city was under attack.
"You... What... How... Um..." She started stammering, then covered her face with her palms:
"Oh... Mirabella, what did you do to get this bad luck." She asked.
"Bad luck? I am strong enough to protect myself." Mirabella replied, her tone cool. Through blood, sweat, and endless battles, she had forged a path of absolute progression. She was a Sovereign; she didn’t believe in bad luck, only insufficient strength.
"No Mirabella." Seraphina removed her hand from her face, and grabbed Mirabella’s hands:
"You don’t get it. Once the Primordial gateway is opened or destroyed by someone... You will become the first target, and that system of yours will be shut down permanently."
"You know about the system?" Mirabella was stunned.
"Of course, your Mother was the previous owner! Actually, your mother was actually targeted by Heaven, but no matter how she searched, she couldn’t locate the Fairy’s soul, so she lost this opportunity, but you..." She swallowed, and continued:
"I am not 100% sure the system will collapse, but your mother almost reached the peak of this world, and she said there was a connection between the system and the Primordial gateway, any move will destroy the connection. No one knows what will happen if it’s destroyed." She explained.
"In short, the moment you step into the Third World, your life will always be in danger."
"But I have Heaven." Mirabella countered, her mind reviewing the celestial mandate that had just granted her the absolute favor.
"Heaven only protect or guide you when you’re after something great. It doesn’t help you fight or give you complete immunity." Seraphina sighed, rubbing her temples:
"Is there no way I can protect the system?" Mirabella asked, holding her jaw.
Seraphina paused; "There might be a way, but first... I want to know why you came here."
"I am searching for Death gemstone... It led me here."
"Death gemstone? Why do you need that?" Seraphina asked, then paused, staring at Mirabella in disbelief:
"Are you planning on merging the three gemstones?!"
"Yeah, I already got two."
"That’s fantastic!!" The Queen jumped to her feet:
"Come with me! If you succeed in this venture, you will be invincible. Not only that, you will become the next Death Goddess... Let’s hurry." She said, leading Mirabella towards the door.
"You see, Heaven isn’t that bad." Mirabella said with a smile, and continued:
"It led me to these powers, and I believe in the future, I will gain more."
Seraphina was stunned by Mirabella’s words. She blinked, staring at the girl over her shoulder, then looked ahead:
’Becoming the Goddess of death is already a huge leaped. In short, nothing in the five words can kill you... This is already overpowered, why would she still target more? How many divinities can she handle?’ She sighed, walking out of the garden with Mirabella:
’I Forgot she is the Heaven Child.’

[Sea’s Ancient Cave.]
After walking for an hour, descending further past the boundaries of the illuminated Silver City, they finally reached a colossal, natural cavern. The oppressive weight of the deep ocean was held back only by ancient, humming arrays; illuminated by countless glowing gems: Mirabella moved her gaze around, and asked:
"About your city? Were you guys here from the very start?" She asked, and Seraphina nodded:
"Yes, we have been living deep under Vatican City... It’s all thanks to the scepter." She said.
"Then... Can you tell me what happened? Why was Vatican City swallowed?"
Seraphina paused, stopping on track, a bit of sadness flashed in her eye:
The majestic Queen, who had just been bouncing with joyous energy moments before, suddenly looked incredibly ancient and deeply burdened.
"We... We will discuss that later." She said, and continued walking again.
Mirabella nodded, not asking any more questions: ’Something happened here... If she isn’t ready, I will wait.’
