After work, instead of making dinner at home, Ichin took Utaha and Yukino out to a restaurant. Haruno joined them after getting off work, and the four of them enjoyed dinner together.

During the meal, they told Haruno about meeting Yamada Elf that day.

Looking at the photos Yukino had taken on her phone, Haruno said in surprise,

"Oh my~~ That little girl has grown up so much. Forget Yukino, even I only saw her a few years ago. Although she was still young back then, you could already tell she'd been raised very well. She was exceptionally outstanding."

Yukino nodded.

"Yes. You can tell from talking with her that she's excellent in every aspect. Oh right, Sis, we've invited her to join us at the pool this weekend, so you'll get to see her then."

Various Lovecraftian elements, Victorian-style clothing, architecture, and many other influences were listed one after another.

It had to be said that talented people truly existed among the player community. From just a single trailer, they had managed to uncover so many details, and none of their conclusions were wrong.

After reading one particularly detailed analysis post, Ichin even gave it a like.

He had just finished browsing another thread when Haruno's voice sounded beside him.

"Ichin~~ Is watching movies with us really that boring?"

Turning his head, Ichin looked at the three women staring at him simultaneously and said,

"I've already watched these movies several times. Surely I'm allowed to slack off a little, right?"

"That's true."

Haruno nodded. She knew he had already seen these movies before, so being bored was perfectly normal. The fact that he was still willing to accompany them was already nice enough.

"In that case, after this one ends, let's watch the second movie too. Finishing both should bring us right to bedtime."

"I don't mind."

Ichin responded before looking at Utaha and Yukino.

"What about you two? If you don't feel like watching, you can go do your own things."

Utaha narrowed her eyes and hugged his arm.

"Ichin, I'm perfectly happy to watch. Besides, if we leave, wouldn't that mean only you and Haruno would be left alone together? That absolutely won't do, right Yukino?"

Yukino nodded in agreement immediately, making Haruno puff up her cheeks in annoyance.

"You two, what exactly do you mean by that? You're even guarding against your own sister!"

Utaha stuck out her tongue playfully.

"Of course. I can't guarantee that when Haruno sees our Ichin alone with her, she won't suddenly be overcome by evil thoughts."

"Overcome by evil thoughts, huh? Then I'm having evil thoughts right now!"

As she spoke, Haruno suddenly pounced on Utaha.

Laughing, Utaha cried out as she fell directly onto Ichin, and Haruno followed right after her.

With two people pressing down on him, especially with Haruno joining in, even Ichin found it difficult to endure.

"Hey, hey, are we watching the movie or not?"

After fooling around for a bit, the two finally calmed down under Ichin's protest and resumed watching Shinji's journey from weakling to growth.

Compared to the second film, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone was indeed a little weaker. But for Utaha, Yukino, and Haruno, who hadn't even finished the original TV series, it was still thoroughly enjoyable.

After finishing his slacking session, Ichin watched the latter half of the movie properly, revisiting the story once again.

Then came the second movie, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, which was also his favorite among the Rebuild films. Behind it was the final movie, while 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo ranked third in his personal list.

It wasn't that the fourth movie was worse than the second. The main reason was that Shinji's final scene with Rei Ayanami in the second movie was simply too iconic.

Even now, Ichin could recall it vividly.

As for the other three women, by the latter half of the second movie, they had become completely immersed in the story.

Since Ichin already knew everything, he didn't spoil anything and quietly accompanied them through the entire film.

When the ending credits finally finished rolling and the short post-credit scene introduced Kaworu Nagisa, Ichin turned on the lights in the theater room at the perfect moment.

Seeing the three women still sitting there in a daze, he smiled.

"Alright, it's getting late. It's already midnight. Hurry up and wash up before bed. Tomorrow's Friday, and we still have work."

Stretching lazily as she stood up, Haruno smiled.

"That was an excellent movie. Ichin, let's finish the remaining two movies tomorrow night too, alright? Stopping halfway through is just too unsatisfying."

Utaha and Yukino nodded as well. They also wanted to see the complete story.

Ichin naturally had no objections. Picking up the remote control, he shut off the projector.

"Sure. I don't have any problems with that. Alright, let's head out and wash up."

After brushing their teeth and washing their faces, everyone returned to their rooms to rest.

Time soon arrived at Saturday.

With two days off ahead of them, the family's plans had already been arranged. In the morning, they would head to the indoor swimming pool they had rented, and in the evening they would return home for a barbecue party.

Getting up on schedule that morning, Ichin and Yukino prepared breakfast before beginning preparations for the evening barbecue.

They cut and marinated all kinds of meat before storing them in the refrigerator. In the evening, they would simply take them out, skewer them, and place them directly onto the grill.

Vegetables were even simpler. They only needed to be washed and cut after returning home.

The seafood they had bought the previous day was also prepared in advance. On the way back in the evening, they only needed to pick up the remaining oysters, scallops, and other seafood they had already reserved.

A little later, Utaha and Haruno also woke up.
