After taking care of the rabbits, he decided to try out his new skinning skill and took out the skinning knife the leather worker had given him upon accepting the quest before bending down next to the first rabbit.

"Nice two quests down," John said with a grin before heading over and harvesting the peacebloom that was still there from last time. After he was done, he looked around to try and tell which direction he should head in next.
As John looked towards the centre of the forest, he noticed that everything seemed darker and gloomier, so much so that he felt a slight shiver go down his spine as if something was watching him.
"It looks like I know which way I'm heading," John mumbled and was about to head off when four players came out from between the trees while smirking at him.
The group consisted of two male humans, a male halfling, and a female kitsune.
The kitsune seemed to be the leader of the group because she took an extra step forward before saying, "Oi, noob, tell us what the mayor really wanted from you or else."
John did not respond and only looked at them as if he had just realised something.
"Oi, did you hear me, you damn noob?"
"I did," John replied.
"Then why did you not respond?" The kitsune asked in annoyance.
"Because I just realised that every race seems to have bullies, even the halflings and kitsune."
"Why you?" The kitsune snapped
"Oh please, don't even bother trying to defend yourself now; you literally just said what every cliché bully I’ve ever met says. Next, you're probably going to say something along the lines of, if you don't tell us what we want to know where going to kill you." John interrupted while rolling his eyes.
The two humans and the halfling started to chuckle before the kitsune glared at them and angrily demanded, “Just give us the information, noob."

"Haha," John laughed upon seeing their names before asking, "Ok, first of all, what's this Prince of Dawn crap? Also, please tell me you did not use your own names in a game?"
"Prince of Dawn is Boss Dean, who we have followed since the start of school. Once we’re done with the starter village, we will join him." Albert stated before adding, "And so, what if we use our own names? This is the second world after all."
Wayne turned on his companion and asked, “What are you spilling all that for, you idiot? You even gave away the boss's name.”
"Yeah, yeah, sure, anyway..” John began, only to stop. {Boss Dean? Followed since the start of School? Prince of Dawn… Dawnscape city? Now that I look at the pair, they do seem oddly familiar.}
“Boss Dean? As in Dean Thomas?” John suddenly asked.
“You know the boss?” Albert asked in surprise.
“You fucking idiot, you just gave away the boss’s in-game name to some random nobody,” Wayne snapped.
“Whatever, he was going to find out anyway,” Albert retorted.
{So Dean Thomas’ in-game name is Prince of Dawn, huh? I’ll have to remember that since I owe him for several years of bullying.} John thought with a smirk before turning to Ninetails and asking, “Was Ninetails already taken, so you had to go with that name?”
“Shut the fuck up, I don’t wanna hear that from some guy who doesn’t even have a piece of gear yet,” Ninetails snapped back.
“Sure, sure,” John shrugged before saying with a smirk, “I hate to tell you this, but you four don't stand a chance against me."
However, as with any movie ever made, when the hero advises the villain that they can't beat them, the villain just looked at the hero as if they had gone mad before they broke out in laughter.
"You can't be serious, right? I mean, there are four of us and only one of you." Kisune asked, laughing.
"Dead serious, did you guys even try using Inspect on me?" John asked curiously.
"Inspect? You're kidding, right?” Wayne asked. “Everyone knows you can't get Inspect before you leave the starter village and learn it from your class trainers in your continent's capital city.”
"Is that so?" John simply muttered. {Thanks, Sajiko.}

Back in the Dawn Village alchemy shop, Sajiko suddenly sneezed before looking around and asking, “Is there a handsome man thinking about me?”

"Enough, tell us what you spoke with the mayor about, or do you want to die?" Albert demanded.
"And there it is: the classic, do what we tell you or you die line," John replied while slowly clapping Albert with a shit-eating grin, while Samwise tried not to laugh.
"Enough, are you giving us the info or not?" Ninetails demanded.
"Not," John replied.
"Fine, battle formation, guys. Wayne, charge him."
"I'm not a damn sentar woman. Ah, fine,” Wayne retorted before turning to John and running at him while pulling a greatsword from his inventory and saying. “You should have given us the info when you had the chance.”
Albert, on the other hand, pulled out his bow and started firing his arrows while Samwise and Ninetails raised their hands in what John recognised as preparation to cast magic.
John ignored the arrows from Albert and allowed them to hit him while he raised his left hand and aimed it at Ninetails.

"WHAT THE FUCK." Albert cursed as he saw that his attacks did zero damage.
"I told you your attacks were too weak, Albert," Wayne said as he arrived in front of John and swung his sword horizontally.
John ducked underneath the attack and managed to dodge it before three individuals simultaneously fired off the same spell.

“Gah,” John grunted as the attacks caused him slight pain, while Samwise cursed in disbelief, "FUCK, ONLY SEVEN DAMAGE?”
Ninetails' attention, however, was elsewhere. “HE DID TWENTY-EIGHT FUCKING DAMAGE TO ME!”
John ignored their anticipated reaction as he performed an uppercut right into Wayne’s throat.

Wayne coughed and stumbled backwards from the attack to his throat before hoarsely cursing, "Ah fuck, what's with that damage?"
"Damn Wayne, your HP just dropped by twenty on the party interface," Albert said in shock.
"Yeah, I saw the notification, idiot," Wayne cursed again while shooting Albert a glare.
“Why didn’t you care about the twenty-eight I took?” Ninetails asked in indignation.
As Wayne was distracted talking to Albert, John rushed up to him and once again punched him in the throat as another arrow hit him.

"Fuck zero again, is he hacking?" Albert cursed
"Arcane Missile,” Samwise and Ninetails shouted again before their attacks hit.

"WHAT THE FUCK," Samwise cursed.
"He is so hacking," Ninetails stated in anger.
"WAYNE, BUY US A COUPLE OF SECONDS, SAMWISE, NINETAILS, USE A CAST SPELL," Albert ordered.
“Don’t fucking order me around, human,” Ninetails retorted angrily, but she still began to channel her spell.
"God, damn it, make it fast; his attacks hit like a truck," Wayne complained while he swung his greatsword again, which John easily dodged.
