Kai paused for a moment before giving a casual laugh.

The guard didn’t seem to find anything strange about his answer. After all, Traceless had fought throughout the journey, and there was nothing unusual about an adventurer taking the opportunity to rest during a long caravan trip.
Satisfied, the guard returned to his position.
As expected, exactly one hour later, the caravan began preparing to leave.
The merchants quickly packed away their remaining supplies and secured their belongings inside the wagons, while the guards checked their weapons before taking up their usual positions.
Traceless moved toward the front of the caravan and settled into his usual position.
