Althea paused when she heard Edwin’s proposal.

Edwin immediately nodded.

"Yes. Just one unit."

Althea’s expression remained calm, but her mind was already considering the offer.

An Atmospheric Water Generator was certainly valuable. In fact, it was one of the most sought-after pieces of equipment in the entire wasteland.

The ability to produce clean water directly from the moisture in the air was practically a miracle in the apocalypse. Many shelters still relied on wells, rivers, underground reservoirs, or whatever water sources they could find. Those sources were not always safe, and even when they were, there was always the possibility that they would eventually run dry.

An Atmospheric Water Generator solved much of that problem.

It could provide a settlement with a reliable source of water without requiring them to constantly search for rivers or risk sending people into dangerous territory.

Because of that, almost every major shelter wanted one.

Even Cornelio Aries of the Aries Faction in Cameron City had shown considerable interest in obtaining Atmospheric Water Generators.

That was precisely why Kai had deliberately opened a large number of Superior-Grade Water Gift Packs.

After all, when something was so valuable that even the major factions of Cameron City were willing to pay a considerable price for it, there was no reason for Codebreakers to keep its supply limited.

Althea remembered the contents of the Superior-Grade Water Gift Pack.

The Atmospheric Water Generators, however, were completely different.

Those were treasures.

Althea slowly looked at Edwin.

"I don’t think you’re aware of how valuable it is."

"Ahem... Then what would you consider a fair exchange?"

"One Skill Fusion Crystal for one Atmospheric Water Generator. It’s our trade with another merchant. He had offered it, and we accepted that. Can you match it?"

"If mutations are still at the beginning stages, these Stabilizers can help."

That made them extremely valuable to anyone who regularly used Gene Stimulants.

However, Althea wasn’t immediately convinced.

Edwin’s expression relaxed slightly after realizing that she was at least interested.
