Making such a trip rashly would have been a huge waste of time. But now, they had the Teleportation Array.

This would shorten the trip to four or five days, a time expenditure that Ye Yun could reluctantly accept.

Bena’s team was formidable in combat. Even without using his power armor, Bena easily dispatched several large, reckless mutated creatures that got in their way.

Two days later, the team arrived at Heishui Town without incident.

Bena didn’t enter immediately, instead observing cautiously from a distance for a while.

Like most settlements and towns in the wasteland, Heishui Town had a very down-to-earth name.

The reason Heishui Town was called Heishui Town was simple: not far from it lay a massive, black lake.

This enormous black lake was the "black water" in its name.

Bena observed for a while longer. After confirming there was nothing out of the ordinary around Heishui Town, he led his team slowly into the settlement.

Heishui Town was slightly larger than October Town, and its buildings were more developed. People bustled back and forth on the streets, making it seem quite lively.

Bena noticed that everyone in town was armed and wore wary expressions. Clearly, the security situation here was less than ideal.
