Global Shelter Game

Chapter 222 - 199: New Missions

Chapter 222: Chapter 199: New Missions

Especially as the newly recruited members gradually integrated into life in the shelter, its talent pool became increasingly well-rounded.

Just as Ye Yun told everyone to rest, new missions appeared before his eyes.

[New Mission 1: Subdue the Violent]

[Description: Order in the wasteland has devolved into chaos. A powerful force is urgently needed to turn the tide.]

[Objective: Kill at least 10 raiders within 7 days.]

[Reward: Blue Components x150, Green Components x100]

[New Mission 2: Member Recruitment]

[Description: As the shelter develops, your need for more people seems to be growing ever larger.]

[Objective: Recruit 5 new shelter members within 7 days.]

[Reward: Random Blue Blueprint x1, Blue Components x50]

[New Mission 3: Diplomacy]

[Description: Your faction is developing rapidly and growing in strength. It is time to make initial contact with some of the other powers in the wasteland.]

[Objective: Establish formal diplomatic relations with any one settlement within 15 days.]

[Reward: Random Blue Blueprint x1, Blue Components x150]

Looking at the three missions before him, Ye Yun confirmed that they were randomly generated. Some might be difficult, while others might be relatively simple.

Of course, there was also the chance of a sequential mission chain, like last time. The randomness factor was high, but there was probably a pattern to it. He just hadn’t seen enough missions yet to figure it out.

’Of these three, only the third mission seems a bit difficult, but the difficulty isn’t actually that high,’ he mused. ’Establishing diplomatic relations with a settlement in fifteen days isn’t really that hard. As long as I’m willing to pay a certain price, it’ll be fine.’

Considering the extra reward for completing all the missions, Ye Yun didn’t hesitate and accepted them all at once.

The next day, Ye Yun accepted all the missions and began assigning them one by one to the members of the shelter.

Ye Yun pondered for a moment, then decided to assign Mission One and Mission Two to Lin Hao and Neil first.

’The two of them have extensive experience in the wasteland; they should be able to complete these two missions smoothly.’

"Lin Hao, Neil, take a team and complete the mission to kill the raiders."

Ye Yun told the two of them, "This mission isn’t very difficult, but you need to be cautious and stay safe."

Lin Hao and Neil nodded in understanding.

They immediately began their preparations and departed with a team.

"Zhou Mei, you’re in charge of recruiting new shelter members," Ye Yun said to her. "We need more talent. See if you can find some capable people out in the wasteland."

Zhou Mei nodded. As a Beastification, she had a unique insight for identifying talent. She immediately set to work, preparing to search the wasteland for suitable candidates.

Ye Yun, on the other hand, left the completion of Mission Three for last. He knew that establishing diplomatic relations was not an easy matter and would require more strategy and patience.

"Bena, you’re on the diplomacy mission," Ye Yun said to him. "We need to find a suitable settlement and establish formal diplomatic relations."

Bena nodded in understanding.

He knew the importance of this mission and also understood Ye Yun’s intentions.

Under Ye Yun’s direction, the three teams set out on their respective missions.

Each team had its own objectives and responsibilities. They knew this was not only a test of their individual skills but also a challenge to their teamwork.

The team led by Lin Hao and Neil moved swiftly across the wasteland. Their objective was to kill at least 10 raiders.

Lin Hao and Neil’s team moved like ghosts through the wasteland, their goal to eliminate the tyrannical raiders who ran rampant across the desolate land.

These raiders, like a pack of wasteland wolves, constantly threatened the safety of caravans and shelters with their cruel and cunning tactics.

Finding raiders was, in fact, as simple as finding mutated creatures. After all, these vultures depended entirely on trade routes and settlements of all sizes to survive. Separated from the people they preyed upon, they were completely incapable of surviving on their own.

"We can’t let these raiders harm any more innocent people."

Lin Hao’s voice was firm and powerful. "We must find their hiding place and eliminate them in one fell swoop."

Neil nodded, his eyes quickly scanning the map, searching for possible clues.

"According to our intel, they’ve been very active in the abandoned mining area to the north recently.

"We can start our search there."

Under the cover of night, their team silently approached the abandoned mining area.

In the moonlight, the abandoned buildings and rust-covered machinery looked especially ominous.

Lin Hao signaled the team to halt. He and Neil quietly discussed their plan of action.

"We’ll split into two groups. One group, composed entirely of mutated creatures, will draw their attention. The other group will flank them from the side."

Neil whispered, "Remember, our goal is to end the fight quickly. Don’t give them any chance to fight back."

Lin Hao nodded, a cold glint in his eyes. "Move out, brothers. Let’s end this nightmare."

At Lin Hao’s command, the team quickly split up, silently approaching their target like panthers in the night.

Under Lin Hao and Neil’s command, the two groups acted with speed and precision. The group of mutated creatures deliberately made some noise, successfully drawing the raiders’ attention. Meanwhile, the other group used the distraction to silently approach the raiders’ hideout from the flank.

The shadows of the abandoned mine provided perfect cover under the moonlight. Lin Hao and Neil’s team moved like phantoms, their actions swift and decisive.

They soon spotted signs of the raiders: a few indistinct figures lingering at the mine’s entrance. Lin Hao signaled the team to halt, carefully observing the surroundings.

"Looks like they haven’t spotted us. We’ll keep moving forward," Lin Hao whispered.

Neil nodded, his expression cold. "Remember, we have to finish this battle quickly. Give them no opportunity to retaliate."

On Neil’s command, the team continued to close in on the raiders without a sound. They used the mine’s terrain and shadows to their advantage, successfully drawing near.

Just then, the group of mutated creatures launched their attack, completely capturing the raiders’ attention. Seizing the opportunity, the team led by Lin Hao and Neil launched their ambush.

With the swift, decisive movements of predators, they took out the few raiders guarding the entrance. Then, they quickly entered the mine to hunt down the rest.

Under the leadership of Lin Hao and Neil, a fierce battle erupted inside the abandoned mine. Taking advantage of the darkness and the terrain, they swiftly eliminated one group of raiders after another.

In the heat of battle, Lin Hao and Neil displayed formidable combat prowess and leadership. They directed the team, crushing the raiders systematically and leaving them no chance to retaliate.

After a period of intense fighting, they finally succeeded in eliminating all the raiders. Calm returned to the abandoned mine once more, with only the moonlit ruins and rust-covered machinery bearing witness to the battle.

Lin Hao and Neil’s team had performed exceptionally well in the fight. They successfully completed their mission, having killed more than ten raiders. They knew this operation was vital to maintaining order and security in the wasteland.

After confirming that all the raiders had been eliminated, Lin Hao and Neil led the team away from the abandoned mine.

They traveled through the night and returned to the shelter, ready to report on the operation to Ye Yun.
