Clark and Bert immediately led Adam into the room, the moment he entered, Adam’s pupils shrank, because the person sitting in the middle of the room had a very familiar face.

The exact moment the two closed the door.
"Alright, stop pretending, are my books a good read?" The middle-aged man’s voice rang out, carrying a hint of playfulness.
Adam’s mouth twitched, this really was the Book Saint, he knew he couldn’t keep acting anymore.
In front of an expert of the Book Saint’s caliber, trying to play the fool was just too naive.
"Not bad, it’s just that there are too many, I can’t read them all!" Adam dropped the act and spoke, he was telling the truth.
The Book Saint had a massive number of books, up until now, he hadn’t read even one percent of them, of course, this was partly because he was picking and choosing.
"Take your time, no rush, those books are my gift to you, I won’t ask for them back, have a seat, I know you have many questions, let’s talk slowly!" Liber pointed to the chair in front of his desk and smiled.

"But before I answer your questions, you have to answer mine first!" Liber poured a cup of tea for Adam.
"Ask away, I can’t beat you anyway!" Adam downed the tea in one gulp and answered openly.
"Alright, how did you arrive here?" Liber refilled Adam’s cup.
"I was participating in the Azure Cloud Field Hunt, just as I was setting up a formation to leave, I was discovered by Erlang Shen, the formation shattered, I fell into a spatial rift and ended up here!" Adam gave a brief explanation, then observed the Book Saint’s expression.
He found the other party looking at him with a pitying gaze. "Then your luck is truly terrible, once you’ve come to this world, you won’t be able to get out."
"Why?" Adam was startled, if an ordinary person said this, he would dismiss it, but the other party was the Book Saint, he wouldn’t say such things without reason.
"Because this place has a seal laid down by the Heavenly Court, without the Heavenly Court’s permission, no one can leave, even a Saint attempting to break through the realm wouldn’t be able to do it!"

Adam was speechless.
His mouth twitched. "Is there really no way? I can’t stay here forever, also, why did the Heavenly Court set up this barrier? Does the Heavenly Court have some unspeakable secret?"
Liber smiled quietly, looking at Adam. "What do you think? If you wanted to escape the Azure Cloud Field Hunt early, you must have guessed something."
Adam’s expression turned serious, he naturally knew what the Book Saint meant.
"The Heavenly Court is harvesting life energy? But why would they seal away an entire world?" Adam asked in bewilderment.
"Oh? Is that what you call it, life energy? I suppose you could say that, but we mostly refer to that power as Source, the origin of all living creatures!" A look of appreciation for Adam flashed in the Book Saint’s eyes!
