The Book Saint’s words interrupted Adam’s thoughts, he looked up, and his expression instantly froze.
On the training ground before him was a massive ball formed by several people scuffling and tangled together, even though the Book Saint had arrived, they still didn’t let go of each other.
Standing next to them was a woman with a smoking-hot figure, fanning the flames. "Boys, whoever wins, I’ll spend the night with him!"
Instantly, the few heads poking out of that massive human ball turned red and purple with exertion.
"Alright, stop messing around!" The Book Saint was a bit exasperated, with a gentle wave of his hand, the group was separated.
Only then did Adam see clearly, five people in total, four men and one woman.
The woman had the highest cultivation, reaching the Third Heaven of the Deity Realm, the rest were all at the First Heaven.
That woman was also sizing up Adam, noticing he looked younger than her, she assumed he was a new recruit and waved. "Hello there, little brother, welcome to our squad, we don’t have a captain right now, but barring surprises, it should be me, what realm are you at?"
Adam didn’t answer, knowing the Book Saint would speak for him.
"Iris, this person will be your captain from now on!"
Iris’s head was full of question marks, the other men’s faces were the same, what the hell? Choosing someone this young to be their captain?
Iris’s face was especially awkward, she had just boasted she would likely be captain, only to be immediately slapped in the face. "Senior, are you kidding me? How old is he?"
The Book Saint waved dismissively. "Being young is not a problem, a lack of experience can be slowly accumulated, I have high hopes for him, and his strength is formidable, if you don’t believe me, you can test him!"
Adam now had a forehead full of question marks himself, he was just here to be a captain, not to pick fights, besides, these few weren’t nearly enough for him to beat up.
He wanted to say something, but was interrupted by the Book Saint. "The matter is settled, from now on, this squad is in your hands, get to know each other!"
After saying that, he turned and left.
The very second he left, the woman charged toward Adam.
"My name is Iris, let’s see if you have the ability to beat me, otherwise, you’ll never earn my acknowledgment, even if Senior Book Saint recommended you!"
Adam looked at the fiery woman and slightly furrowed his brows, he didn’t want to fight here or create friction with his teammates, but he understood that without demonstrating his strength, it would be difficult to convince these people.

"I don’t intend to snatch your captain position, if you want to do it, you can continue."
"Hmph, easy for you to say!" Iris sneered.
