"Come back." Adam nodded calmly, it was to be expected, he had held back his strength just now, he didn’t feel any emotional fluctuations over causing the opponent’s death, the guy had brought it upon himself.
"Captain, who was that person just now?" Iris returned to Adam’s side and asked curiously.
"I don’t know." Adam shook his head, the other party was simply too strange, his strength wasn’t great, yet he insisted on attacking them.
Adam raised his hand, and the storage bag and token on the figure’s body slowly flew toward him.
The storage bag was confiscated, as for the token, Adam raised an eyebrow, he had thought it would be similar to the Heavenly Court ones he had encountered before, but upon taking it in hand, he realized something was wrong.

"Then what do we do now?" Iris asked.
"We’ll continue heading back, it’s no longer safe here." Adam tucked the token into his robes and took the lead, flying in the direction they had come from.
Iris and the others followed closely, their hearts filled with awe and admiration for Adam.
The appearance of that attacker definitely had deeper underlying reasons, Adam decided that once he got back, he had to consult the Book Saint for clues.
After they left, hidden within the shadows, a pair of perfectly round eyes watched the direction Adam and his squad departed in.
Soon they returned to camp, Adam reported the situation to the Book Saint in detail, then raised his doubts.

At the same time, he waited for the Book Saint’s investigation results.

"Adam, I have investigated it thoroughly." The Book Saint got straight to the point.
"That person was indeed not affiliated with the Heavenly Court."
"What?" Adam raised an eyebrow.
"Then who exactly is he?"

Adam fell silent for a moment before slowly nodding. "I understand, I am willing to give it a try."
"Good, prepare yourself, you depart tomorrow." The Book Saint patted Adam on the shoulder, then turned and left.
Adam stood in place, feeling somewhat helpless, this was the downside of joining an organization, a massive pile of tasks, however, if the other party was truly coming for him, he would have to investigate regardless.
The next day, Adam set off alone, iris and the other squad members busied themselves with relocating the camp.
He flew through the air by himself, making no effort to conceal his aura, he wanted to see if the other party was genuinely coming for him.
