Ruling Black Dragon Mountain would be very boring work.

There was one more reason for patience, to this day Soren still hadn’t found the coordinates of the Heavenly Demon Alliance’s headquarters.

He’d stripped enormous quantities of intelligence out of the Blood Demon Ancestor and other captured figures.

He’d stripped equally large databases out of Cecilia’s consciousness, this remained the single strangest thing he’d run into.

The Strategy Encyclopedia mapped everything under heaven.

With it in hand, nothing was beyond mapping or conquering.

A headquarters wasn’t a person and didn’t qualify for a conquest profile, but pulling complete memory databases out of multiple core figures and finding no data on the physical base was uncanny.

Soren queried the encyclopedia for the cause.

[The primary headquarters of the Heavenly Demon Alliance lies beneath a dense concentration of Ancient Evil God aura.]

[Because of that interference, its coordinates cannot be extracted from memory databases.]

[Master may obtain the coordinates through non-system methods.]

[For example, by conquering Cecilia.]

[Warning: every core cultivator of the Heavenly Demon Alliance carries a lethal restriction implanted in the body, the moment one attempts to leak the headquarters coordinates by speech, writing, or transmission, the restriction triggers, detonating body and soul.]

[Even if Master elevates Cecilia’s relationship tier to absolute loyalty, the restriction must be neutralized first.]

[That restriction incorporates a strand of genuine Divine Power originating from the Ancient Evil God Tribe, conventional formation-breaking and soul-dismantling methods cannot neutralize it.]

[Master may continue the salvation of the Divine Goddesses.]

[Once a given Demonic Form’s conversion degree reaches the critical threshold, Master unlocks the authority to sever the external Dao restrictions binding that Form, and may summon her true body out of the Six Paths Form Diagram into the material world.]

[Her pristine Divine Power will dissolve any restriction forged from Ancient Evil God power.]

They know how to hide. Credit where it’s due.

What puzzled him was the rest, if a man holding an outright cheat code couldn’t find the entrance to their base.

Then what are they so afraid of? Why the paranoid secrecy? Who are they hiding from on those other four continents?

Could it be.

That among the supreme factions running those continents, powerhouses wielding genuine Divine Power weren’t rare at all?

The way Celeste’s grandfather did. Caspar.

The ceiling on the Azure Spirit World was why its native races found true Divine Power so hard to touch.

Even a man like Caspar, who could force a fraction of divine power into his techniques, was drawing on a fragment. A relic of the real thing.

Soren shook his head and put it aside.

He’d use the quiet stretch for cultivation and push the conversion degrees along.

He looked forward to the day he could break the restrictions inside the diagram and pull his Demonic Forms out into the world.

As for Cecilia, she sat in her chair with the lights on and nobody home.

Soren smiled and left her to it, cultivating in front of her did hand her a clean opening.

He trusted she wasn’t stupid enough to take it, by now she understood the position. Conventional methods weren’t going to kill him.

Soren closed his eyes, his consciousness went inward and surfaced above the turning Six Paths Form Diagram.

The Heavenly Dao Demonic Form felt him arrive and raised her head, those narrow, bewitching eyes fixed on the void ahead.

She couldn’t make a sound.

Whatever formed in her mind stayed sealed there, with no way out, she pulled against her restraints, and the heavy chains rattled.

The diagram is siphoning divine power, and feeding demonic energy back, which has taken a great deal of the agony off my sisters.

"So the Strategy Encyclopedia has found its master."

"And he belongs to a lower-tier Demon race."

"Fine, so be it."

"I can feel how overbearing and masculine this demonic energy runs."

"Which settles it, our new master is a man."

"Whatever you dread most is exactly what arrives."

She narrowed her eyes and sank into it.

Whether the master is a man or a woman matters enormously to us.

"If a woman had taken the External Path Strategy Encyclopedia, then once her demonic energy eroded our divine bodies, we would simply be weapons, we’d lend her our strength and that would be the end of it."

"Belonging to a man is a problem."

"For my sisters and me it’s very nearly insurmountable."

"Because our use to him won’t stop at combat strength."

"Sooner or later we’ll be his..."

"An image arrived, vivid enough that her cheeks went red to the ears."

"The six of us, have been inseparable since our primal birth."

"To hold the Six Paths in equilibrium our fates are bound in symbiosis. We live together and we die together."

"Whatever we do, we do together, or the balance comes apart."

"So in the future."

"When the master develops those needs, it means all six of us will have to be entirely honest and entirely unclothed with him, together."

"Ugh, infuriating."

"It’s been several months since the External Path Strategy Encyclopedia devoured and sealed us."

"Those Ancient Evil God tribes we suppressed back then will have woken by now."

"We paid a catastrophic price to put those races to sleep."

"Still, it’s a mercy the Encyclopedia didn’t choose one of the Ancient Evil Gods as its master."

"I can’t imagine what we’d have been reduced to, her expression moved from grave to somewhere darker."

When the dark cleared she let out a breath of something like relief.

"So be it, being his slaves and his playthings beats falling into the hands of the Ancient Evil God Tribe."

"In fact, I hope he speeds it up."

"Convert us quickly and get us out of this black cage, otherwise."

"Once those woken Evil Gods sense the Strategy Encyclopedia is here, in his hands, they will come for it in a frenzy."

"And overbearing as his demonic energy is, it’s still the energy of a lower-tier race."

She sighed, helpless about it.

Trapped in a black void where she couldn’t see so much as a glimpse of her five sisters, with no way to send a thought outward, she made herself stop imagining things.
