The Void Chain rapidly extended, wrapping itself around the Void Core.
The Void Energy didn’t affect the Void Chain at all. Instead, it enhanced its power, unlocking a new ability: infinite extension.

Li Wei felt the chain pull taut in his hand. He looked up and saw that the Void Chain had completely bound the Void Core.
"Good. Now, come on out!"
Saint Xi’s maw opened slightly. Li Wei stood at the edge, gripped a chain that flickered with a purple-black light, and pulled outward with all his might.
With a rattle as the chain pulled taut, the Void Core, which had been lodged in Saint Xi’s mouth, was gradually dragged out.

The heavy Void Core landed on the snow.

The Magic Cottage had transformed from its original 10x10x10 cubic space into a massive 1000x1000x1000 one.

The unexpectedly obtained Void Core had now solved that problem for him.
Li Wei quickly left the Magic Cottage. After consuming a large amount of Mana to expand the Space Teleportation Gate, he moved Saint Xi inside.
While he was at it, he also brought some snow, soil, and rocks from the outside world into the Magic Mini World to fill the surrounding empty areas.

Basam was inwardly furious, but his expression remained eerily calm. He knew that no amount of anger would help.

Basam glanced at the huge crater below, then turned and flew off into the distance.
A long while later, a Teleportation Gate appeared in mid-air. Li Wei had one foot out of the gate when he realized there was no ground beneath him.
Looking down, he saw an immense circular valley below, like a giant crater left by a meteorite’s Fall.
Even the soil was exposed.
Seeing this scene, Li Wei could just imagine Basam’s furious expression.
He focused his senses for a moment and, discovering that the Surveillance Demon Eye he had placed earlier was not destroyed, a smile touched his lips.
Summoning the Surveillance Demon Eye back to him, Li Wei saw everything that had happened there since he left.
A figure with wings on its back streaked across the sky and landed in this spot.
After a while, an immense explosion erupted. By the time the fire and smoke cleared, the figure had also vanished.
Li Wei knew Basam must have left after failing to find the Void Core.
’I wonder if Basam will take his anger out on the Ice and Snow City because of this.’
’According to him, his goal is to help the Void Emperor descend into this world, not to destroy it or go on a killing spree. Basam probably won’t expose himself so easily.’
Li Wei glanced back at the now-awakened Saint Xi and said, "Saint Xi, you stay here and rest for a while. I’m going back to the Ice and Snow City to take a look."

Closing the Teleportation Gate, Li Wei flew toward the Ice and Snow City.
As he neared the Ice and Snow City and saw that the white city was unharmed, Li Wei breathed a small sigh of relief.
Looking down from high above, he saw that a huge, trapezoidal altar had been erected halfway up a snowy peak within the Ice and Snow City.
The altar was built from countless stacked Ice Crystals, its surface carved with numerous mysterious symbols, and various ritual objects were placed in their designated positions.
A large crowd surrounded the altar, and at its very peak stood a woman in ice-blue ritual robes.
Li Wei recognized the woman as Gu Sewei at a single glance.
He froze for a moment. ’Has the ceremony already begun?’
’But why is Gu Sewei presiding over the ceremony? Shouldn’t it be the Ice Queen?’
Li Wei was confused.
Suddenly, he noticed several figures standing around Gu Sewei, and his pupils contracted.
They were the four powerful Holy Knights who had hunted him all the way to the Extreme North Icefield.
’What are they doing here?’
Li Wei instinctively concealed himself.
The Legendary Paladin keenly sensed the gaze from the sky.
His gaze, as steady as a Divine Mountain, swept over Li Wei’s former position, only to find an empty sky.
The Legendary Paladin realized someone was spying on him, but he didn’t pay it too much mind.
The observer posed no threat to him.
Li Wei had already landed. Draped in his Invisibility Cloak, he stood atop an ice house, gazing at the altar on the mountainside.
With a low HUMMM as the ritual was activated, a pillar of white light erupted from the top of the altar, shooting straight into the heavens.
’The God of Frost and Warhammer?’
Li Wei thought to himself. Seeing the Holy Knights on the altar as well, he felt a vague sense of unease.
Sure enough, the pillar of light guiding the Divine Spirit began to change. The white column was quickly suffused with a sacred, golden glow.
That was the Power of Light.
The Holy Knights had used a divine artifact to interfere with the ritual, locking the target of the summoning—which should have been random—to the Light God.
Gu Sewei looked up at the sky, her face impassive and expressionless.
According to the original plan, the Divine Worship Ceremony should have summoned a projection of the God of Frost and Warhammer.
After all, the Extreme North Icefield was within this Divine Spirit’s domain.
