The barrier surrounding Elion vanished as he slowly rose back to his feet. Aria reached him first, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him anxiously.
"Elion?"
His eyelids slowly opened, and for a moment, nobody spoke.
All of them immediately found themselves lost within the swirling beauty of his eyes. His gaze appeared utterly unfathomable, giving them the terrifying impression that the eyes of a god were seeing through them.
’Beautiful!’
They all seemed to have the same thought at once. Aria’s reflection appeared within his mismatched eyes.
The pale golden left eye seemed to glow with warm light, while the dark right eye resembled a star-filled abyss.
Even Zenith stared at them with open fascination.
Elion blinked once, and when he opened his eyes again, the entire world changed.
He saw the mana flowing through the walls of the Ark.
He saw the hidden spatial layers folded around each room.
He saw the individual enchantments within Tessa’s new bracers, Mira’s necklace, and Aria’s bracelet.
He saw the thin defensive field surrounding Zenith’s body and the monstrous energy sleeping beneath her human appearance.
Then the information became too much.
Elion shut his eyes again and pressed two fingers against his forehead, turning it off. After a few seconds, the overwhelming awareness faded.
When he opened his eyes again, they had returned to their ordinary blue color.
Aria released a breath of relief. "Are you all right?"
Elion remained silent for a moment, testing his vision until the room appeared normal again. "Yeah, I feel perfectly fine."
Tessa approached and crouched beside him. "You think so?"
"Yeah, other than the fact that my head feels like someone stuffed an entire library inside it. So, I have had better days, but it’s not too bad."
Zenith leaned closer until her face was only a few inches from his. "Your new eyes are beautiful; why did you deactivate them? You should keep them active."
Elion groaned.
"No way am I doing that. Wait, give me a moment; Before you guys start flooding me with hundreds of questions, I want to take a look at something first."
The system panel was still floating beside him, displaying a list of all the abilities he had gained from the World Eyes.

Elion pursed his lips as he considered his gains for a moment.
Some of the abilities overlapped with the system’s utilities and a few of his existing skills, but the World Eyes were obviously far superior.
He had long since passed the point of gushing over every single increase in strength, but surely he could be allowed to drool over this one, right?
The vast majority of the eyes’ abilities were still sealed, but it was only a matter of time before he climbed through the ranks and unlocked them as well.
What he had already gained was overpowered enough, and there were more abilities listed than he cared to count.
All of that from a pair of Divine pupils. This basically meant that he had an all-seeing eye.
Elion drew in a sharp breath.
"Elion?" Mira asked, snapping him out of his daze.
He looked toward the ladies with an expression of disbelief.
"I am assuming those eyes are not merely for visual appeal," Mira commented, easily understanding that he must have gained some impressive abilities.
