Harry Returning from Hogwarts Legacy
Chapter 922 - 373: Another Effect of the CurseChapter 922: Chapter 373: Another Effect of the Curse
Vivi never thought that lust could also count as a negative emotion.
When she realized this, it was already several days later.
After noticing this potentially serious matter, Vivi carefully considered and summoned Cassandra from the United Kingdom.
Upon hearing Vivi’s explanation of the situation, Cassandra smiled playfully.
"Oh, I never thought a sneaky cat would worry about the existence of other sneaky cats." Cassandra teased, her small beauty mark at the corner of her eye trembling along with her expression, "So, you’re serious? You’re worried that Harry’s lust might lead him to be charmed away by another sneaky cat?"
"I’m talking business here, Kathy." Vivi tried to maintain her composure.
"This is business too, my dear Vivi." Cassandra sat opposite Vivi, smiling brightly, resting her chin on her hands, her eyes sparkling.
She even broke precedent by not addressing Vivi by her surname, instead using this affectionate nickname.
My goodness, this is indeed... exhilarating!
Some kitties are just kitties, but some kitties—like Cassandra right now—just want to see the world burn.
"Stop it, Kathy." Vivi said helplessly, rubbing her forehead, "I’m discussing serious matters, and I hope you can take it seriously too..."
"I’m trying to be serious, but—" Cassandra covered her mouth, "I still can’t help but laugh, my dear Vivi—this is simply the best punishment for a sneaky cat like you!"
Seeing Vivi squinting her eyes, her expression changing to one of annoyance, Cassandra knew when to stop.
"Okay, I understand your point, Sneaky Cat Vivi." Cassandra raised her slender eyebrows, "So, what do you want me to do? Do you need me to help you manage the person who’s turned into a walking love potion, or do you want me to solve it once and for all?"
"Solve it once and for all?" Vivi perked up, "You know about this curse?"
"I don’t understand this curse, but I do have a method." Cassandra leaned close to Vivi’s ear and whispered, "Just eliminate the root of the Little Giant’s troubles, and all problems can be easily solved, don’t you think?"
"That’s impossible." Vivi laughed in exasperation, "Would you dare?"
"I wouldn’t dare." Cassandra said honestly.
"Then why suggest it!" Vivi slammed the table, standing up to shout.
"I was just trying to lighten the mood, Vivi." Cassandra said with a mischievous smile, "Why so anxious?"
"Am I anxious?" Vivi sat down, attempting to calm herself.
Cassandra didn’t say anything, just watched Vivi with a knowing smile.
Anyway, whoever is anxious knows it themselves, no need for me to say.
"So..." Cassandra spoke again: "I actually have a good solution, don’t know if you’d be interested."
"I don’t want to hear jokes, Cassandra." Vivi rubbed her temples, trying to relieve pressure, "I need a realistic and usable solution."
Cassandra stood up and walked to Vivi’s side.
She whispered several sentences in Vivi’s ear.
The more Vivi listened, the brighter her eyes became.
But by the end, it turned into skepticism.
"This method, can it really work?" she asked curiously.
"Perhaps it’ll work?" Cassandra said with a smile, "The decision is yours, after all, you’re the most high-ranking woman in this house—isn’t that right, my dear Minister?"
Seeing Vivi still pondering, Cassandra gave her a little nudge of encouragement.
"Consider it a sacrifice you make for the family, Vivi—I and Swedding will remember your good."
"Alright." Vivi nodded, "Then I’ll follow your advice... um, but I need a day to rest."
As she said this, it was clear that Vivi truly was exhausted.
Really exhausted.
"A day to rest?" Cassandra asked confusedly: "Why rest? You should know how serious the situation we’re facing is! How can you rest at a time like this?"
Vivi’s cheeks blushed.
"Don’t forget." She maintained her upright posture, "He is the youngest Seeker in history—and the best Seeker since Hogwarts was founded!"
"So?" Cassandra was puzzled.
"Stop pretending, Kathy." Vivi slammed the table again, "Don’t pretend you don’t know how much trouble he can be!"
...
Anyway, after staying in Vienna for a few more days, and confirming that Harry’s curse had no other effects, Cassandra sent Harry back to Hogwarts.
When Harry returned to Hogwarts, he obviously breathed a sigh of relief.
Actually, the curse didn’t have much effect on him, as Harry’s personality destined him not to harbor much hatred towards others.
And Voldemort had already died countless times, how could he have any influence on Harry now?
Seeing the "long lost" Harry return to Hogwarts, Ron was clearly very happy.
But Harry’s first words immediately made Ron’s face fall.
"How did the exams go?" he asked.
"Don’t mention it." Ron sighed, "The last History of Magic exam was clearly a disaster. Sitting in the exam room, I realized I could hardly remember those names, and kept mixing up dates. So I simply skipped the fourth question... What was that question again?"
"In your opinion, did the Magic Wand Ordinance facilitate or help better control the eighteenth century fairy uprisings?" Seamus said from the side, "I remember the question, but have no idea what answer to write, so I just scribbled something, hoping Professor Bin won’t get mad when he sees it."
