Chapter 924: Chapter 374: End of the Term

Good person?

Harry thought about it, and in the end, he didn’t refute it.

Actually, to be fair, Principal Black couldn’t be considered a bad person.

Seeing that Harry did not refute it, Annie suppressed her laughter and said, "Yes, he is a good person."

If Principal Black heard this, he would definitely puff up his chest with pride.

After all, ever since Umbridge came to Hogwarts, he was no longer the most unpopular person in Hogwarts’ history—of course, he’s still the most unpopular principal.

Sometimes Harry felt it a pity that Umbridge didn’t become principal, didn’t take away Principal Black’s most cherished title.

The holiday arrived as scheduled, and the students of Hogwarts welcomed their vacation once again.

If nothing unexpected happens, next year’s Defense Against the Dark Arts professor will still be Professor Lupin—this had already been confirmed by Dumbledore to the students.

A few days before the holiday began, Harry and Ron encountered the twin brothers who returned to Hogwarts to promote their shop.

Ron was obviously shocked by his two brothers’ sudden appearance—or perhaps, shocked by the twins’ attire.

He stared wide-eyed at the twins dressed in a very punk way, and asked in surprise, "I say—you two, your jackets look so cool!"

"Top quality dragon skin, my little brother," Fred said, pulling the zipper, "our business is booming, and we thought we should treat ourselves a little better."

Saying this, Fred took out some flyers and slapped them into Ron’s hand, "Now, it’s your time to shine, Little Ronnie—help us hand out these flyers, and we’ll buy you a jacket too."

Hearing this, Ron took the flyers without hesitation and turned around to leave.

"We’ve graduated," Fred and George said to Harry and the others after distributing the flyers, "we’ve rented a shop in Diagon Alley and plan to sell some magical gadgets there—I’ll send you invitations once we open."

"Did Mom agree?" Ginny asked back, "Don’t wait until Mom finds out and goes ballistic, smashing your magic gadgets store."

"Oh, don’t say that, Ginny." Fred shook his head and said, "Can’t you wish us well for a bit? Or maybe, deep down, you actually want to see that happen?"

"I never thought that our little sister would be such a tease." George said gleefully from the side, "You won’t see that happen, Mom has already agreed to our opening plan, and in a few days, she and Dad will also be there to celebrate."

On the day before the holiday, they were still in the Hogwarts Hall, attending the annual end-of-term meeting.

For the fifth time, the hall used the red and gold décor of Gryffindor, and the students were no longer surprised by it.

Except for the sixth and seventh graders, no student had seen any other house’s color scheme in the hall at the end of the term.

The seventh graders had obviously given up, but the sixth-grade Slytherins were still secretly cheering themselves on, planning to make Slytherin great again next year.

But very evidently, without the Weasley Twins, the major point-losers, Gryffindor would require Professor Snape’s visibly heavy hand to maintain its lead.

Dumbledore, as usual, addressed the students, and in addition, commended the Gryffindors for their excellent performance this semester.

This year’s Gryffindor, even without any extra points, was far ahead of the other houses in terms of score.

The holiday time arrived as expected, students dragging their suitcases, left their respective house common rooms, and headed onto the platform.

"Any plans for the holiday?" Draco asked Harry on the platform, "After the O.W.L.s exam, I feel like I’ve lost any goal, want to do something thrilling during the holiday?"

"No plans for now," Harry said, "but when I do, I’ll notify you with the crystal ball."

Now, Mr. Leme’s seventh generation crystal balls have been successfully launched, with the standard version costing only two Golden Galleons, the advanced Pro version at twenty Golden Galleons, and the Pro Max version of the crystal ball, requiring two hundred Golden Galleons.

The wealthy Malfoy family certainly wouldn’t let their child go empty-handed, and Draco had the latest model, the Crystal Ball 7 Pro Max.

"Got it." Draco said, waving to Harry, and boarded the train first.

Harry, Annie, Ron, and Hermione boarded the train together, found a compartment, and sat down.

Passing by the lady selling snacks, Ron bought a large pile of cauldron cakes and pumpkin pies.

"Ah, food, always something not to be missed," Ron sat down in the compartment seat, still marveling, and as he finished, grabbed a cauldron cake and stuffed it into his mouth.

Having woken up a bit late, he hadn’t eaten breakfast yet.

"I think you’re simply the embodiment of gluttony," Hermione withdrew her gaze from the Prophet Daily, looking sympathetically at Ron who was devouring food, shaking her head in lament.

Neville and Ginny also entered the compartment, and Harry noticed that Neville was holding a Mimbulus Mimbletonia, instead of his toad, Lafu.

The so-called Mimbulus Mimbletonia, though it sounds cute in name, is not really so.

It is a rare magical plant originating from ancient Assyria, resembling a small gray cactus, with lumps that pulsate in a rhythmic pattern on the surface.
