Chapter 1672: Chapter 1672. Yasenia Lazing Around.
It had been a few months since they met the behemoth for the first time. During this time, Yasenia learned the name of his species: [Forest-Destroying Rampage Beast].
Still, he quite liked the nickname Behemoth Senior, so he asked to be called as such. The girls welcomed him while working. His strength was no joke, after all.
Yasenia even sparred with him once and lost. The reason for her loss was that she didn’t use her trump cards or many killing moves. Still, the giant behemoth’s strength surpassed what the girls had expected from him.
It was after the fight that Yasenia asked. "Were you deeply injured or something similar?"
She felt that Behemoth Senior’s battle style was far too strong for a beast at his Level. A Level Eight was not a simple opponent, but losing to him in a sparring match was something Yasenia had not expected.
She expected a harsh battle, but with her ending as the final winner. The process was similar to what Yasenia had expected, but the result was the opposite. So, she asked that question.
Behemoth Senior laughed, patting his aching body. Yasenia’s strikes made even someone at his Level feel as if his bones were cracking. "You are really strong, Young Yasenia. Your eyesight is also keen. My previous residence was in the central area. Sadly, I lost in a battle, and my Beast Core got heavily injured. So, I fled and hid here for a while to try and recover."
Yasenia hummed. "What Level were you at before, Senior?"
"I was at the Tenth Level! But that’s the strength I had in the far past."
"Half-Step!" Yasenia was impressed. The Tenth Level for beasts was the same as a Half-Step Transcendence for the Spiritual Path. "No wonder you are so strong."
The giant behemoth moved incredibly agilely when they fought, suppressing Yasenia not with strength but speed! She had been shocked when the mountain-sized creature moved even faster than her.
Behemoth Senior just smiled, and Asterion raised his hands. "Grandpa Senior, can you teach me?"
"Hoho! That would be my pleasure. Still, boy, you have not yet perfected your Beast Traits and can’t transform properly, right? Let’s start from there. A beast’s foundation is their transformed state; everything else comes afterward."
That was not wrong. Yasenia gained most of her strength after she recovered her ability to transform into a dragon. For Asterion and any other beast incapable of transforming into their original form, it would be the same.
Yasenia had also been teaching Asterion in that direction, and a pair of new hands wouldn’t hurt Asterion in any way, shape, or form. Therefore, she gratefully sent Asterion to train with the senior while they worked. Of course, she also sent 10 maids or so to watch out, just in case. As a Dragon Mom, Yasenia would not let a moment of carelessness hurt her baby!
Feixue was still a mortal, so training with that beast would be far too much for her. Still, it didn’t bother her. Feixue was someone who liked training on her own and asking questions. Or, well, more than liked, she was accustomed to it. Not that it was bad or that she was being neglected; she had learned to train that way on her own and achieved the best results.
After teaching a few things to Feixue for a while, Yasenia flew up and looked toward the valley. The maids, Kali, and the other girls had scouted the area and gathered most of the Death Attributed rare fauna and flora. The fauna got sent to the [Underworld] by Tatyana, and the Flora gathered in Yasenia’s ring together with the many other Spiritual Herbs.
Her ring’s garden was bustling with life and energy thanks to the four Natural Treasures mixed with it and Garest’s special care. She needed only about one year to grow a 100,000-year-old Spiritual Herb! It was truly a miraculous space.
Either way, Yasenia arrived at the central area, where Tatyana, Angel, and a few other formation-related maids were working.
Angel felt two arms and a soft body hug her from behind, a sweet floral scent tingling her nose. Then, a mellow, charming voice that made her ears feel weak attacked her. "How is it going, Baby? Is there anything I can help you with?"
Angel’s body softened with a single sentence. She looked up with a faint blush, her large, blue eyes shining softly. "Hehe... Nothing. Don’t worry. Just use this time to practice and train. We will deal with this complicated thing."
The bundle of Life Energy at the middle, being suppressed by the Death Energy, was a much more complicated thing to deal with than they first expected. For starters, it was not natural.
What got sealed inside had been done on purpose by someone. At first, Yasenia had thought of just giving up and finding another less-troublesome space. Nevertheless, she decided to keep going. The reason was that, once liberated, they could make this giant valley their own, where even a dragon of Yasenia’s size could fly through it freely.
If someone came knocking to cause trouble later, they would deal with it slowly. There was absolutely no reason to fear anyone.
Yasenia didn’t leave right away, making her body float to follow Angel like an attached balloon. Kali, who came to get a few materials from Yasenia, burst into laughter when she saw Yasenia being dragged around as Angel moved here and there. "What are you doing, love?"
Yasenia answered languidly. "I’ve become Baby’s accessoryyyy."
The girls around burst into laughter. Kali moved over and gave Yasenia a kiss on the lips. "Give me these herbs, love. I need them for a few tests."
Yasenia attached herself to Kali and spoke with a lazy look. "I’ve been transferred~. Let’s moooove!"
Kali shook her head and kissed Yasenia again. Then, she dragged balloon Yasenia with her to the alchemy location. Here, Kali was practicing and trying to understand the secret of the five Star Pills Yasenia got together with the Star Breaker Realm Bead’s inheritance. The pills to get the garden were still unable to be perfectly concocted after all this time, but Kali was not impatient.
A challenge was always welcome since it helped her deepen her Alchemy Dao. Although it was far too early to call it [Dao].
Yasenia stuck to Kali for a while, seeing her research pills and also watching her concoct a few. The ease and fluidity with which she handled ingredients and the alchemy procedure were a feast for the eyes.
"Honey, you are so talented~. I am proud of you."
Kali blinked and smiled, her fox tails wagging happily. "Thank you, love. It means a lot coming from you."
Yasenia smiled and licked Kali’s cheek, causing the Fox’s eyes to deepen for a moment. "Later. Don’t tempt me."
Yasenia laughed and let go, floating away. "The wind is kidnapping meeee...!"
Kali laughed. "It seems that she is in a silly mood today."
She looked at Yasenia as she floated away, then refocused on her work.
Meanwhile, balloon Yasenia moved around freely, letting the wind push her around. She didn’t really make any other effort besides making herself weightless. "Hm... It is peaceful."
The gentle wind, the warm sunlight, and the white clouds floating in the sky. Even when this area was a Death Zone, it didn’t bother them much. The only thing affected was the ground, not the sky.
Yasenia looked at the passing clouds with a dazed look. "I want to fly for a while."
Her body flashed with blue light, and soon, a gigantic dragon soared to the sky, going beyond the clouds and extending her wings. Yasenia flew around the forest dominated by Behemoth Senior.
’Is there an interesting treasure in this area?’
Her figure caused many beasts to scream and scramble away, fearful of the top predator dominating the sky. Some bird-type beasts encountered Yasenia as well, flying out of her way with panicked looks.
Yasenia didn’t care about any of that. She was the ruler of the sky, a powerful dragon. Therefore, the reactions of other beasts didn’t even register to her.
As she flew around the edge of the forest, a relatively powerful spiritual sense swept the area. Yasenia blinked and glanced over. ’That came from the city.’
No matter how advanced, Yasenia’s Spiritual Sense could only be described as monstrous. Combined with her sharp dragon senses, it made it almost impossible for others to stealthily check her.
A playful look appeared in Yasenia’s eyes. ’Should I go and cause some chaos?’
Either way, there was not much danger around this area. They had scouted the place for over three years prior to entering the forest and knew the situation. Immortals were rare in this area, and even those powerful reclusive cultivators wouldn’t appear unless deeply bothered.
So, Yasenia titled her wings and flew toward the city. ’We have not been here, right? What was this city called... [Endless Forest City]. Yeah, that was its name.’
As she approached the city, flying at the altitude of the clouds, her senses picked up soldiers and other powerful individuals moving in a panic. ’Let’s see... the powerful Spiritual Sense came from that merchant shop. Is someone from the central area inspecting this place and got curious when they faintly sensed my presence?’
When Yasenia approached the city, she spoke with a cold and indifferent tone. "Who bothered me? Come out before I burn this city."
Of course, she had no intention of doing anything of the like. Even if they decided to not appear, she would say something like. ’Boring creature, don’t bother me next time,’ and leave.
Contrary to her expectations, a woman with a veil appeared atop the city. She wore a gauze dress that could not be described as seductive, but had a profound charm. The woman’s gaze beyond the full-face veil was hidden, but Yasenia could see through the concealing enchantments of the veil. ’Quite a beautiful woman.’
If even Yasenia thought of her as such, the woman’s appearance was worth the veil.
"I am sorry, Lord Dragon. I got too curious and bothered your esteemed presence."
Her voice was soft and gentle. ’She doesn’t look like a merchant.’
Yasenia became a touch curious. Still, she kept her tyrant dragon act and snorted. "Is an apology enough? If you didn’t want to bother others, learn to keep your senses to yourself."
The woman flinched slightly, causing Yasenia’s eyes to be filled with amusement for a second before recovering the arrogant look. ’This is fun.’
After a few moments, the woman waved her hand and summoned a giant, crystal-like blue item. The item was half the size of a normal house. "Please, let this one go with this. This girl won’t bother Lord Dragon again."
Yasenia’s eyes gleamed. ’Treasure!’
"Hmph. It is barely enough to satisfy me." Yasenia picked up the crystal, then turned around and flew away into the forest.
Meanwhile, the woman with the veil secretly sighed in relief while also glancing at the forest with a thoughtful look.
