The golden retriever stared at Stephan.

Did he think it was just a dog that couldn’t understand human speech? It barked at Stephan, “Woof woof woof!”

Luca , holding a large orange cat, walked over from a distance. “Stephan, whose dog are you calling sleazy?”

Stephan looked up, not at all surprised to see Luca. If the dog’s here, the owner can’t be far behind.

“Isn’t that obvious?”

Luca snorted.

He turned to look at Alana. “I was wondering why Ollie suddenly started running so fast, turns out it was because he saw you.”

“You haven’t come to see them in a while; they’ve all missed you.”

Alana smiled slightly. Animals, just like people, have feelings. Having cared for them so diligently for so long, she had grown attached to them.

It wasn’t only the pets who missed her...she missed them, too.

“Luca, as long as you don’t mind, I’ll come by to see them more often when I have time.”

Luca smiled. “Of course I don’t mind, I’d love it if you came to see them every day.”

“Ahem, ahem!” Stephan let out.

They were chatting so happily, was he just not even there? And what was with this talk of visiting those two stinking pets every day? Did he really think he didn’t know where Luca’s true intentions lay elsewhere?

Stephan didn’t know that Luca had already personally told Alana he wished her well with her relationship, so he subconsciously assumed Luca still had ulterior motives toward her.

Luca looked at Stephan and asked pointedly, “Stephan, you’re not actually getting jealous over this, are you?”

Stephan took Alana’s hand, their fingers intertwined.

In doing so, he displayed the sparkling diamond ring on Alana’s little finger.

With a smirk, he boasted, “What’s there to be jealous of? After all, I’ve already secured her for the rest of her life.”

Luca was taken aback when he saw the diamond ring on Alana’s little finger. “Alana, are you... are you planning to marry him...”

Alana couldn’t help but blush; she was too embarrassed to say it.

Alana was too shy to say it, but Stephan had no qualms about it...he even had the

nerve to say;

“That’s right. She’s going to marry me and become my lawful wife.”

“When the time comes and we get married, I’ll send you an invitation...I might invite you to be the best man at our wedding.”

Alana secretly pinched Stephan’s thigh.

He was really getting out of hand.

Stephan remained unfazed by Alana’s pinch. Such a light touch wasn’t enough to hurt him; it only made him think she was flirting.

Luca slowly pulled his gaze away from the two of them holding hands.

He looked at Stephan and said earnestly, “Stephan, I haven’t known Alana for very long, but I used to have feelings for her, and I genuinely want the best for her. If you end up marrying her, better treat her well or I won’t go easy on you!”

Stephan chuckled derisively. “Don’t worry, you won’t get the chance.”

Hearing Luca’s words, Alana felt a pang of emotion and said sincerely, “Luca, thank you.”

Luca smiled. “As long as you’re happy. If you get married, I’ll definitely be there.”

Alana nodded. “Okay.”

Luca took a deep breath. “I won’t keep you any longer. Ollie, let’s head home.” He waved to the golden retriever.

The golden retriever obediently walked over to him and left with him.

However, as they left, the Golden Retriever kept looking back every few steps, clearly reluctant to part with Alana.

Alana smiled and waved at the golden retriever.

Stephan observed her reaction. “Do you really like dogs?”

Alana nodded. “I do. Dogs are so cute.”

Stephan suggested, “How about we get one too? We could get a cat or a dog of our own. Then, when we get home from work every day, we could take them out for a walk.”

Although he wasn’t too keen on a pet competing with him for his girlfriend’s affection.

But there was nothing he could do about it...after all, she liked them.

Alana looked up at him with a serious expression. “If I really get one, won’t you be upset? You’ve gotten jealous of Luca’s dog several times, and you say nasty things to the animals too...”

Stephan chuckled and couldn’t resist pinching her soft little cheek. “That was a dog owned by another man. How could it be the same as one we raise together?”

Alana blinked.

“It is different and I’ll be nice to them. But let’s just forget about it. After all, having a pet takes a lot of time to care for. Let’s wait until we get married before we consider getting one.”

“Alright, I’ll go along with you.”

The two of them took a stroll around the neighborhood before heading back to the

apartment.

No sooner had they returned than Alana was led by Stephan into the room they had just tidied up.

As the man pinned her down on the bed again, Alana’s eyelids twitched violently. “You... you’re doing this again?”

“Mm-hmm.”

Stephan sat up slightly and pulled out the last condom from the drawer. “Your man has plenty of stamina you know.”

Alana sighed, heavily.

*********

After the storm had passed, Alana was held in Stephan’s arms.

She raised her limp hand and poked him in the chest.

“Don’t forget to transfer the money to me.”

Stephan smiled amusedly. “You’re this exhausted, and you’re still thinking about money?”

Alana shot him a withering glance. Wasn’t that a given?

She’d gone through all that trouble to satisfy him, wasn’t it all for those few million?

“Hurry up!”

“Okay, okay, I’ll transfer it to you right away.”

Stephan picked up his phone and promptly transferred ten million to Alana.

Alana checked her phone and saw that the man had transferred ten million to her.

She instantly perked up.

Her back didn’t hurt anymore, and her legs didn’t feel sore. “Ten million?”

“Didn’t you say you only won a few million?” Stephan raised an eyebrow. “I’ll give you plenty of it, consider it a reward for serving me so well!”

Alana pouted, thinking to herself, How nice.

It’s just a matter of satisfying his special kinks in bed, and he’s rewarding her with all this pocket money.

If there’s a next time, and a time after that... Wouldn’t she be rolling in it?

No wonder Eve works so hard to please her boyfriend, if she pleases him well, he gives her cars, money, and jewelry. Who wouldn’t be thrilled by that?

“Um, if I work this hard again next time, will you give me something too?”

Stephan chuckled and pinched Alana’s cheek. “You little money-grubber! My card is in your hands. Use it however you like...if I give you any more, I won’t have any pocket money left!”

Alana blinked. Oh, right...she did have his bank card.

Oh my, what a shame...she hadn’t even used it once yet, and she had no idea how much money was actually in there.

Oh well, never mind. She wasn’t materialistic anyway, so she’d just save that money and use it when she needed it later.

Over the weekend, the young couple were practically glued to each other every moment. Once the weekend was over, they naturally returned to their regular work schedules.

Stephan had to go on a business trip for a few days; his flight was the next morning.

Alana wanted to go with him to the airport, but she didn’t even have time.

As they parted, Stephan hugged Alana, reluctant to let her go.

“Is there anything you want me to bring back for you?”

Alana replied earnestly, “Just come back soon.”

After a brief pause, she blushed and added, “Most importantly, remember to miss me.” Stephan chuckled softly, cupped Alana’s face, and kissed her deeply.

They lingered close for a moment.

He curved his lips. “I know exactly what you want. When I get back, I’ll make sure to satisfy you.”

Alana gasped.

He never takes anything seriously.

Stephan asked, “How about I buy you a car when I get back? If I don’t have time to drive you to and from work in the future, you can drive yourself to the office.”

Alana smiled. “I’ll have to get my driver’s license first.”

“You’re so smart...getting your license will be a piece of cake.”

“You’re such a smooth talker!”

Stephan chuckled and pinched Alana’s ring-adorned hand. “You’re not allowed to take that ring off. You have to wear it all the time...to remind everyone that you’re already a taken woman.”
