Alana, having been spotted, felt slightly embarrassed. She decided to just push the door open and step out.

“Did someone come by just now?”

“Yeah, my mom was here.”

Her breath caught. “Your... your mom was here? Well, then I...”

“You weren’t spotted.”

Hearing this, she couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.

She seemed to think of something and asked again, “Then the bedroom...”

“She didn’t have time to go in and look.”

Alana breathed a sigh of relief again.

Thank goodness she didn’t see it all that mess, otherwise, the woman would have never looked at her son the same.

Stephan took a step toward Alana, raising an eyebrow slightly. “What’s wrong? Don’t want your future mother-in-law to see?”

Hearing this, Alana shot the man a playful glare. “Who would want her to see all that?!”

Stephan lowered his gaze, slowly drawing closer to her, his tone growing increasingly suggestive.

“See what, hmm?”

Alana blushed, too embarrassed to say it.

She pushed him gently with her hand. “Stop it. Go to the kitchen and make me something to eat!”

Stephan smiled, reaching out to gently brush her soft lips. “Huh, that little mouth of yours...you’re getting more and more used to bossing people around.”

Alana blushed. “After the way you wore me out last night, who else am I supposed to boss around?”

Stephan asked deliberately, “Don’t you like it?”

“I didn’t like it!”

“I don’t believe you. Last night, you were clearly urging me to go harder...you were like...Stephan...harder...more...more...” He let out dramatically mimicking her voice.

Alana stamped her foot, her embarrassment turning to anger. “STEPHAN!”

Seeing the girl’s fierce expression, Stephan couldn’t help but laugh out loud, his chest rumbling with delight.

He raised his hand and ruffled her hair.

“All right, sweetheart, I won’t tease you anymore. I’ll make you something to eat right away.”

Alana huffed, “Go on, then. I’m going to tidy up your bedroom!”

If Stephan’s mother suddenly changed her mind and came back to check on his bedroom, it would be a disaster, she could vividly recall how his mother had cursed her “supposed boyfriend” for being that rough in bed, not knowing she was actually calling her son names.

Stephan was once again charmed by her cuteness and said with a smile, “Okay! But you should keep resting. I can tidy up the bedroom later.”

Alana puffed out her cheeks in frustration. “No way! I have to clean it up right no...to cover my tracks! Hurry up and go!”

“Fine, fine, fine!” Stephan found it both amusing and exasperating as Alana practically pushed him downstairs.

Alana opened the door and stepped into the messy bedroom.

Seeing the floor littered with used items, and the passionate scenes from last night

replaying in her mind, frame by frame, she bit her lip as the heat in her cheeks rose once again.

That bastard!

**********

After Cynthia arrived at the hospital, she hastily called an emergency meeting regarding a single special patient.

After the meeting, she finally had time to reflect on Stephan’s strange behavior from earlier.

She gritted her teeth. “Something’s definitely off!”

Darla, sitting nearby, overheard Cynthia’s mutterings and asked curiously,

“Auntie, what’s wrong?”

Cynthia blurted out instinctively, “I suspect my son is hiding a woman in his golden nest, deliberately keeping it from me!”

Upon hearing this, Darla’s expression changed.

Cynthia turned her head and saw that Darla didn’t look well. She instantly realized what she’d said and quickly backtracked.

“Darla, I’m sorry. I’m just speculating; I’m not certain it’s true. I just stopped by my son’s place. He seemed a bit evasive, so I got suspicious, but I didn’t actually see any woman there.”

Darla forced a smile. “Oh.”

But in reality, she knew there must have been a woman at Stephan’s house.

Although she wasn’t sure why Stephan hadn’t made his relationship with that woman public in front of his parents, the fact remained that she was indeed living with him.

Thinking back to what she’d discovered at the movie theater yesterday, she couldn’t help but clench her fists.

She wanted to give up, but she just couldn’t bring herself to do it.

After all, Stephan was the man who had made her heart race more than any other she’d ever met.

Yesterday at the movie theater, she had witnessed Stephan kissing Alana with those captivated, burning eyes.

That night, she even had a dream.

In her dream, Stephan appeared in her bedroom, pinned her down on the bed, and looked at her the same way then he had hot passionate sex with her/

The dream and had so thrilling and real.

When she woke up, she had been all hit and bothered and she had to touch herself while moaning out his name.

She hadn’t had a dream like that in ages. She never expected that after seeing Stephan so passionately devoted to another woman, she would have such a dream that very night, and the man in her dream was none other than Stephan.

She never imagined that Stephan, of all men, could so easily stir her desires, and even enter her intimate dreams to spend a night of passion with her.

Unfortunately, it was only a dream.

Even just a dream was enough to leave her endlessly yearning for more.

If it were real, wouldn’t that mean...

Just the thought of that scene made Darla’s legs go weak.

Cynthia asked in surprise, “Darla, what’s wrong? Why did your face suddenly turn so red?”

Darla snapped back to reality, her expression slightly awkward.

“Nothing.”

“Auntie, I have something to take care of. I’ll be going now.” Darla quickly returned to her office, then pulled out her phone and made a call. “Have you heard anything about the person I asked you to investigate?”

“Good. Send the files to my email right away.”

After hanging up, Darla immediately turned on her computer, logged into her email, and found a file that had just been sent to her.

Clicking on the file, she found it contained nearly every detail of Alana’s life.

It was Alana’s personal file; she had obtained the information through some special channels.

After skimming through it, Darla smiled dismissively.

She finally understood why Stephan hadn’t brought Alana home to meet his parents.

It turned out that, given Alana’s background, she simply wasn’t presentable.

What right did a woman like that have to compare herself to her?

She had been feeling quite anxious at first, but after seeing this detailed dossier and realizing she outclassed Alana in every way, she felt certain of victory.

She was certain that a wealthy family like the Hudsons would never accept a woman with no background, a person who had been abandoned by her own parents!

She couldn’t fathom what gave that woman, Alana, the audacity to act so arrogant and smug in front of her.

Was it just because of that little bit of affection Stephan showed her? Ha, how naive!

************

After finishing breakfast together, Stephan and Alana went out for a walk to help with digestion.

As they were walking, a large golden retriever suddenly came running out, circling excitedly around Alana and Stephan.

Alana recognized it immediately as Luca’s golden retriever.

After all, they’d spent quite a bit of time together.

Pleased by the surprise, she bent down and ruffled the dog’s head. “Ollie, what are you doing here?”

The golden retriever couldn’t speak, but it happily barked at Alana several times. Then it stuck out its tongue and licked her soft palm.

Alana couldn’t help but laugh. “Stop licking...it tickles...”

He gave the golden retriever a slight kick with the toe of his shoe, looking rather displeased. “Go on, you slobbering dog. Get lost. Don’t lick my woman!”

The big golden retriever stuck out its huge tongue and huffed at Stephan.

Stephan remained expressionless as he reached out and pulled Alana up from where she was bent over. “Lana, this dog is too sleazy...just like its owner. Don’t pay it any mind.”
