Herogasm: My SSS-Ranked Maids Can Do Everything!
Chapter 29: [29]Master… May I Join You?--Chapter 29--
Title: Master... May I Join You?
In an Unknown Location....
A group of figure heads gathered secretly in a private chamber, but there was nothing secretive about its purpose.
It was still a place of politics arranged around a long table sat beneath the steady glow of crystal lamps, with guards stationed near the walls.
The polished wood carried the faint scent of old incense, and every person seated around it understood why they had been called here.
High Priestess Valeria sat at the head of the table.
Countess Elowen Otto occupied the seat to her right, her posture elegant and her expression pleasantly composed.
Duke Garlan Grimwald sat to Valeria’s left, carrying the solid presence of a man who preferred solving problems with force rather than conversation.
Princess Isabella sat further down the table. She had remained quiet since entering, but her attention had never left the discussion.
Near the far end of the room, a figure representing the Guilds sat partially hidden beneath the shadows. The person’s features were difficult to make out, and judging by the silence they’d maintained so far, they had no intention of making themselves memorable.
One seat remained empty. The one meant for the last major noble house. House Garfield.
Nobody at the table bothered pretending that absence was accidental.
Valeria was the first to speak. "Deva Grayfort has become inconvenient."
Grimwald gave a short, rough laugh. "He set a Tower record. That’s not an inconvenience. That’s noise."
"It is both," Valeria replied. Her fingers rested calmly against the arm of her chair.
"He was supposed to remain disposable. An unmarked failure pulled out after surviving the sanctum, useful for Rift closure and little else.
Instead, he walked into public view with three Abominations and a Tower record attached to his name to top it up."
Elowen’s fingers folded neatly together. "Hero Deva Grayfort."
Valeria’s eyes shifted toward her.
"What?"
"You called him Deva Grayfort," Elowen corrected. Her smile remained perfectly pleasant.
"If we’re discussing him properly, perhaps we should use the title the Tower has already forced onto the capital."
For a moment, nobody spoke. Valeria’s expression cooled.
"This is not the appraisal hall, Countess. You may stop performing."
Elowen’s head tilted slightly. "Performing?"
"Your public support of him. The soft corrections. The careful sympathy." Valeria’s gaze remained fixed on her. "It is all useful theater, and nothing more. We are among people who understand the game. Act like a player."
Elowen’s smile didn’t disappear. She didn’t confirm the accusation. But she didn’t deny it either.
Instead, she simply let Valeria believe whatever she wanted.
Isabella’s fingers tightened slightly around the arm of her chair. Valeria noticed but continued.
"If he had remained obscure, containment would have been simple. Send him into the next Rift sequence with Erling Vega. Let the failures test the ground while our stronger assets recover."
Grimwald leaned back in his wooden chair. "Then there is still no problem. If he steps out of line, the Hero Mark will handle him."
The words settled over the table. Valeria stared at him for several seconds.
Then she shook her head. "Unfortunately, that may not be possible."
Grimwald’s eyes narrowed. "Explain yourself."
"The Hero Mark was never placed on him," Valeria glanced at Isabella.
Silence filled the chamber after a statement. Even the Guild representative shifted slightly in the shadows.
Valeria remained composed.
"We all know the mark requires formal acknowledgment. In practice, that acknowledgment has long been tied to the royal family."
Her eyes stayed oriented on Isabella. "The Princess did not acknowledge him. Instead she humiliated him.and the ritual condition was never completed."
Isabella’s expression remained controlled, but something sharpened behind her eyes.
Valeria continued. "As far as the binding is concerned, Deva Grayfort is unmarked."
Grimwald’s brows drew together. "So if this man turns against the kingdom, there is no hidden leash."
"That’s correct." Valeria’s answer came without hesitation.
"No remote punishment through the Mark. No forced loyalty. No convenient suppression. If he becomes a problem, any response will have to be direct."
For a moment, Grimwald said nothing, simply rubbing his chin. Then a hard smile slowly appeared across his face.
"Good."
Elowen’s gaze shifted toward him in obvious confusion. "Good?"
"I prefer enemies I can crush with my own hands." Grimwald’s smile widened slightly.
"Marks and soft bindings are Church methods. If this so-called hero becomes a problem, House Grimwald will answer him properly."
Valeria’s expression didn’t change. "Pride is not a plan, Duke."
"And control isn’t always possible," Grimwald replied.
The two stared at one another. But neither bothered continuing.
The Guild representative remained silent all through the exchange like he was canon fodder.
House Garfield’s empty seat remained visible at the far end of the table, an absence that had somehow become more noticeable with every passing minute.
"There would be no final order tonight." Valeria concluded. Turning at the empty seat.
But one uncomfortable truth had finally been placed on the table. Takeshi Riru, known to them as Deva Grayfort, was unbound.
And nobody in the room could pretend that it was a minor inconvenience anymore.

After the transformation. The manor became surprisingly more quieter than the rest of the capital.
By the time Takeshi left the main hall, the maids had already started restoring everything to order.
Nyxara was moving furniture back into place with considerably more strength than the furniture required. Lana was correcting the mess with calm efficiency, occasionally directing the arrangement of the room with a few quiet words.
Solaria worked more quietly than either of them.
Takeshi left them to it. He had other things on his mind.
The master bedroom was warm when he entered.
Soft light rested against the walls, and near the inner partition, steam rose lazily from a prepared bath.
Takeshi stopped in surprise. He hadn’t expected that.
The water carried the faint scent of herbs, and even from several steps away, the warmth coming from it touched his skin even while he was still at the door.
’Solaria.’ he thought.
He didn’t need to ask. After everything that had happened today, the bath was probably the first thing he’d genuinely wanted without knowing he needed it.
Takeshi began removing his worn clothes. The fabric had gone through enough abuse already.
A few moments later, he stepped into the bath. Warmth closed around his calves first. Then his thighs. And the rest of his body as he lowered himself into the water.
Takeshi leaned back against the smooth edge and let out a quiet breath. His muscles slowly loosened beneath the heat.
The water moved gently around his chest, while steam gathered against his face and neck.
Right now, he didn’t have to do anything. So he didn’t. He simply sat there for a while.
Then his gaze dropped beneath the surface. Takeshi looked at his reflection in the shifting water.
His body had changed.
Not dramatically enough to make him unrecognizable, but enough that he couldn’t mistake it.
His frame was tighter than before. There was more definition along his arms and stomach, and the softness he’d accumulated from years of sitting around with terrible sleeping habits had already begun disappearing.
He’d expected his body to change eventually. Not just this quickly.
So this is what the system meant. The thought made him look down at himself again.
From battles to recovery and the amazing growth connected to his bonded units.
Everything was starting to add up.Takeshi’s fingers moved lazily through the water.
Tomorrow, he’d have to deal with the twelve hundred gold coins. Probably get some new clothes and actual equipment.
He couldn’t continue walking around in whatever happened to be available anymore. Appearance mattered now, whether he liked it or not.
And if he was going to remain in Eldrath, he needed to understand what twelve hundred gold actually meant in this world.
He’d been summoned here with practically nothing. Now he had enough money to make people start asking questions.
Takeshi leaned his head back. The herbs left a mild bitterness in the steam.
His eyes slowly closed when he heard soft and careful footsteps.
They approached from the outer side of the room.
Takeshi’s eyes opened to the sound of cloth sliding over skin, a fastening loosened, then another.
A maid’s silhouette took shape beyond the steam and the half-open partition: bare creamy shoulders appeared first, then the pale line of a back, that reached a succulent ass crack, then the soft fall of discarded uniform pieces outside the direct frame of his vision.
Cooler air slipped into the bathroom for a second as the outer door shifted. The steam thinned, then thickened again around him.
Beneath the herbal scent of the bath, something lighter touched the air. The quiet presence of someone standing just out of full view.
A moment later, two soft knocks sounded against the wood.
"Master..." The voice was slow and quiet with an undeniable familiarity.
Solaria.
"May I join you?"
