Riding his chariot at impossible speed, Achilles tore across the battlefield like an aurora splitting the heavens.

The True Dracoslaying King's ATK boost vanished, returning it to its original value.
In an instant, Achilles' 4000 ATK surpassed it.
"A complete lockdown."
Seto Kaiba nodded in satisfaction.
"Now they've got nowhere left to run."
Proof of Quickest sealed off the activation of all Spell Cards, Trap Cards, and monster effects while the Heroic Spirit battled.
Under this triple lock, the dragon girl couldn't activate her face-down cards.
She couldn't even trigger the card-drawing effect of King's Proof.
Only Continuous effects that didn't require activation continued to function.
"Comet Dash! Finish it!"
Achilles' explosive charge crushed everything before him.
After trampling across the battlefield with his Noble Phantasm, he leapt from the chariot and thrust his celestial spear.
Empowered by unrivalled speed, the spear pierced straight through the Swordmaster's golden shield and armor.
[Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King] destroyed.
Eve cheered.
"Finally! We got rid of that troublesome True Dracoslaying King!"
The dragon girl immediately declared:
"Even if you're using its original ATK, Bashing Shield is still equipped to it! This battle won't inflict any battle damage to me!"
"That's exactly what I wanted."
Hoshino smiled provocatively.
"If you collapsed halfway through because you couldn't take my attack, it'd actually be a problem for me."
After all, Achilles wasn't a Wyrm.
Defeating her with him wouldn't accomplish Hoshino's true objective.
If she was going to become the "villain" and prune this world so her own could recover from Super Fusion, then she had to follow the world's rules and truly defeat each of the Nine Kings.
The dragon girl glared at her.
"You think I'll collapse? Not happening!"
At the same moment, the Continuous Trap King's Proof continued to glow.
"While King's Proof remains face-up on my field, whenever one of my Wyrm monsters is destroyed, I gain Life Points equal to whichever is higher between that monster's original ATK or DEF!"
Even though Proof of Quickest prevented activated effects, Continuous effects still applied while the card remained face-up.

"Then I place 1 'King's Counter' Counter on this card!"
From the shattered core of the True Dracoslaying King, the dragon girl extracted a glowing orb of energy and placed it onto the Trap.

Eve scratched her head.
"(꒪Д꒪) Huh? It gained another weird counter!"
Since nothing happened immediately, Hoshino had no idea what the counter would eventually do.
Kaiba Man observed:
"It's my first time seeing counters placed on that Proof card as well. Normally you'd deal cautiously with an unknown effect, wouldn't you, Hoshino?"
Hoshino grinned.
"But playing cautiously isn't your style, is it, Kaiba Man?"
"And don't forget — this is still your turn."
"Didn't you just say… no matter the situation, attack with everything you've got. That's the path to victory."
Activating Achilles' effect, Hoshino declared:
"Then forget being cautious! I'm not about to stand here playing it safe while you're the only one going all out! Heroic Spirit – Achilles' effect activates!"
[Effect: If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Draw 1 card, then this card can make another attack. During the turn this effect is activated, it cannot attack directly and changes to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase.]
"Experience the fastest Green Card combo in existence!"
"I draw one card… then Achilles attacks again!"
Drawing back up to one card in hand, Hoshino targeted the only remaining monster:
Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant.
"Noble Phantasm — Dromeus Komētēs!"
A Noble Phantasm that could only be used after dismounting from Troias Tragoidia.
Harnessing the same speed as his divine chariot, Achilles charged forward with enough force to overturn the earth itself.
"There's nowhere left for you to run!"
His storm-like spear strike engulfed Metaltron XII.
Ironically, because of its complete immunity to card effects, Metaltron XII couldn't receive Dragonic Diagram's once-per-turn battle destruction protection.
The colossal machine collapsed instantly.
[Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant] destroyed.
The dragon girl calmly announced:
"Since the Wyrm monster Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant was destroyed, I gain Life Points equal to its original ATK through King's Proof!"

Hoshino Alter blinked.
["She has more Life Points now than when the Duel started…"]
Achilles had destroyed two monsters in succession…
Yet instead of reducing the dragon girl's Life Points, he had healed her beyond her starting total.
Hoshino frowned.
"But Metaltron XII wasn't equipped with Bashing Shield! This battle should still inflict battle damage!"
"It certainly does."
The dragon girl smiled mysteriously as she pointed at Hoshino.
"The only problem is… you'll be the one taking it, Hoshino~"
The momentum of Achilles' charge suddenly reversed.

With another graceful wave of her snow-white fingers, she extracted another mysterious orb of light from the destroyed Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant.
"And since another Wyrm monster was destroyed, I place a second 'King's Counter' on this card."

Eve analyzed the situation.
"So all battle damage involving Wyrm monsters gets reflected now… That means we'll have to win with a direct attack instead."
"Fortunately, there aren't any monsters left on her field, and the Life Point gap isn't impossible to overcome yet!"
"Achilles' effect activates after destroying an opponent's monster by battle! I draw 1 card!"
Hoshino's hand increased to two cards.
Although Achilles could attack again after resolving his effect, the dragon girl's field was now empty.
At the same time, the drawback of his effect prevented him from attacking the opponent directly.
Without another monster to serve as his target, the immortal chariot charging through the storm had nowhere left to race.

Achilles laughed, setting down his spear before casually sitting cross-legged on the frozen ground.
Just like the 0 DEF displayed on his card, he looked completely defenseless.
"Now all we have to do is find the perfect chance to finish this in one strike!"
With no cards left in hand and all of his Set cards already used, Kaiba Man also ended his turn after Hoshino's attack.
At the moment, Hoshino and Kaiba Man controlled Achilles, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon, and Hoshino's final face-down card.
"At the End Phase…"
"I activate the effect of King's Proof, which now has two 'King's Counters'!"
The Continuous Trap shone with an icy, dreamlike radiance as the two mysterious Wyrm emblems glowed brightly.
"When this card has 2 or more 'King's Counters', during the End Phase I can Tribute cards from my hand or field to Tribute Summon a Wyrm monster from my GY!"
Unlike a Special Summon, the Wyrm awakened from the Graveyard was being Tribute Summoned, allowing its True Draco effects to activate normally.
"I Tribute my Continuous Spell True Draco Heritage along with the monster in my hand to Tribute Summon a True Draco monster!"
Hoshino guessed:
"Two Tributes… You're bringing back the True Dracoslaying King, aren't you?"
The dragon girl smiled.
"No. The monster I Tribute Summon is — Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant!"

The gigantic mechanical Wyrm, which Achilles had shattered only moments ago, reconstructed its massive armored body within the light of a Tribute Summon.
Eve immediately protested.
"Wait! Metaltron XII requires three Tributes to be Tribute Summoned! You only Tributed two cards!"
A faint, beautiful smile appeared on the dragon girl's face.
For just an instant, Hoshino thought she saw the same affectionate expression Kisara sometimes wore.
Hoshino Alter blinked.
["She looks like a heroine who's just had her route cleared in a dating sim…"]
Hoshino raised an eyebrow.
"Did something good happen?"
The dragon girl proudly revealed the monster she had Tributed from her hand.
"You're wondering how I Tribute Summoned Metaltron XII? Because the monster I Tributed from my hand was this card — my Soul Card! Kaiser Sea Horse!"

Hoshino Alter couldn't help asking:
["Seriously… what exactly did Kaiba Man do to make one of the Kings fall this hard for him?"]
Hoshino frowned thoughtfully.
"Still… instead of reviving the True Dracoslaying King, she chose Metaltron XII. What's her plan?"
Compared to the True Dracoslaying King's overwhelming destruction effect, Metaltron XII had only displayed its incredible immunities.
"Next… since True Draco Heritage left the field, its effect activates!"
A surge of energy gathered around Metaltron XII's arm before exploding outward in a devastating punch, obliterating Hoshino's last remaining Set card.
"My turn!"
Before drawing, the dragon girl flipped over the Trap she had Set last turn.
"I activate the Continuous Trap — Destructive Draw!"

"After Tributing Kaiser Sea Horse, I have no cards left in my hand."
"That lets me activate Quick Destructive Draw and draw two cards during my normal Draw Phase!"
After replenishing her hand to two cards, the dragon girl immediately entered the Battle Phase.
"Battle! Metaltron XII, the True Dracombatant, attack! Secret Technique — Heaven-Shattering Azure Dragon Breaker!"
It was another one of her embarrassingly over-the-top attack names.
But this time, the target wasn't Achilles with his 0 DEF.
Instead…
She pointed at the monster with 4000 ATK.
Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon.
Kaiba Man clenched his fist and answered without hesitation.
"Interesting! Counterattack, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon! Chaos MAX Burst!!"
