How To Survive A Cute Ghost Yandere
Chapter 110: Which one would end up reaching reality first? The afternoon arrived quickly. He walked along the shoreline, feeling the waves wash over his feet.
Splash—!
His gaze fixed on the sea in the distance, the sky above unveiling a beautiful shade of gold. Birds sang sweetly, and the noisy chatter of the main characters was never really far behind.
What they were doing now was holding a barbecue party. The problem was, this wasn’t just with the main characters — it involved the entire student body, the supervisors, and even the professors themselves.
Renessa wasn’t clinging to him, since she had her own life to live before she’d started following Eiros around so often. That made Eiros feel considerably more at ease and comfortable, since he could never quite get used to every single sentence that came out of Renessa’s mouth.
So, essentially, the beach right now had turned unbearably loud with the students’ excited shouting.
Eiros didn’t join in, because he had a few problems of his own to work through. It concerned his need for a Stigmata — after weighing what he required, he kept coming back to the thought that he needed a Stigmata on par with the main characters’.
Only then would he have a chance to stand beside them, and perhaps even offer his help far into the future, if he was still alive by then.
But that thought fell apart the moment he realized the main characters were main characters precisely because they were special. Which meant cases like theirs weren’t something that happened all the time.
A Stigmata whose potential surpassed current human understanding — how could Eiros possibly find another one so easily?
He might never find one at all. And even if he did find one, could he actually fulfill its requirements?
Every Stigmata at that level always came with extreme conditions attached. That thought led Eiros to one conclusion.
’What I got from Leiden was a jackpot. And this might already be the best I could ever have.’
The Remnant of Red Light held enormous potential. As Eiros’s Soul Tier rose, he would gradually uncover more of its potential and unlock the possibilities hidden within it.
So Eiros arrived at the conclusion that he shouldn’t be chasing after something incredibly strong. He shifted his way of thinking, and instead of searching for a powerful Stigmata...
’What should I be looking for to cover my biggest weakness right now?’
Eiros reached a boulder four times his own size. He looked at it for a moment, then climbed up and sat down, his mind drifting back to the battles he’d fought.
So far, Eiros realized he’d almost never won through pure strength. Every time, it was either because he got lucky or because he’d planned it out beforehand.
In fact, he lost far more often than not. Whether it was against Crimson, Renessa — twice — or eventually that Gorilla back in Clathria. He’d managed to kill the Basilisk, but he’d nearly died doing it. He’d come out first place in the mid-semester exam, but only because of Valkas. He’d beaten Rein, but only because Rein had already worn himself out and given up on his own.
What else was there, besides that?
Eiros let out a sigh, his lips twitching.
"...Absolutely infuriating."
He didn’t need destructive power. The answer to becoming stronger was far simpler than Eiros had been giving himself credit for.
All he had to do was ask himself — what if he ran into another enemy like Renessa again? Or what if he could be like Renessa, with that incredible Mobility of hers?
There was the answer. Eiros needed Mobility — something that would let him move fast and stay nimble. And once he thought it through, something like that would actually suit his identity as the White Swan rather well.
"Student Eiros! What are you doing all the way over there? Get over here, you troublemaker! The barbecue’s ready!"
Eiros blinked, hearing a professor’s call. He sat still for a moment, then answered the call and made his way over. As he approached, his eyes swept briefly over the students, then stopped on one in particular.
’That one will do nicely.’
He’d found a Stigmata that could cover exactly what he needed.

Estiel stared at a book lying open before him. It was the same book that held records from his past self. He studied it for a moment, then swore under his breath.
"...again!? These people... Haaa... Why do they never get tired of this, damn it."
What irritated Estiel wasn’t just the endless interruptions, but also the warning his past self kept leaving behind, always telling him not to get involved.
But this time, the problem was too big. Could he really just stay quiet and stand aside?
Tsk.
Estiel clicked his tongue, then looked back down at the page.
"Check page 727?"
That... was something new. His past self had always forbidden him from reading beyond what was necessary, so Estiel found himself a little startled. He hesitated for a moment, flipping through page after page without reading them, until he stopped at page 727.
—Well then, here you are.
That was the opening line.
And the sentence that followed said something that sent a chill crawling down Estiel’s entire body, plunging it into darkness. His breath went short, cold sweat broke out for a moment, and in the next second his pupils went dark.
He didn’t say a word.

At the same time, somewhere else entirely. A man dressed in a neat uniform and black gloves strolled through the lively crowds of Augusta.
He hummed lightly to himself, his hair combed neatly back. His dark hair was streaked here and there with a soft, crystalline red.
—Crimson, are you sure about this?
A certain voice echoed in his mind. The man — Crimson — only smiled. He glanced around for a moment, then in an instant his body blurred.
Whoosh.
He shot off at tremendous speed and reappeared above the tall rooftops.
"What is there to be afraid of?"
Crimson gazed out over the sprawling cityscape. Lights glittered everywhere, fireflies dotting the night like stars close enough to touch. Human life had always been an interesting thing to watch.
Those who lived only for tomorrow never knew just how dark this world truly was underneath. They just slept, woke, worked, and repeated the routine as if nothing at all was happening.
They didn’t have the instincts to survive, the instinct to sense when something was wrong. They simply lived, then died, then were forgotten — not so different from a tiny ant.
—What if that tower keeper is here? No, he is here, but why are you so sure he won’t move?
Crimson let out a quiet sigh. He wasn’t the type to get angry easily. If anything, he was fairly kind-hearted, so he wasn’t about to get mad at a partner who simply didn’t know any better.
Still, should he even bother explaining?
Of course not. But then again, he was kind-hearted, so why not explain just a little.
"It’s because of the prophecy."
A prophecy that had always been on a collision course. Two games that had been running for a long time now, and between those two prophecies constantly colliding...
Which one would end up reaching reality first?
