Chapter 120: Chap.117 - Calypso's demands

When Calypso finally released Rigel, Rigel began to explain what they were going to do.

"I have an... amulet that will give you an identity in this world, creating documents and memories, so you can integrate directly." Rigel explained.

Calypso nodded calmly, thankfully, she still had her magic. Moreover, because she wasn't completely sealed this time, her magic was much stronger. Although it didn't come close to her previous divine power, it was still far more than Rigel currently possessed.

"What do you suggest?" Calypso was unfamiliar with this world, so she sought Rigel's opinion directly, and besides, she soon found herself feeling excited again.

Rigel didn't answer at first, but instead began explaining some more common rules to Calypso, about how wizards hide, about the Ministry of Magic and the Law of Secrecy, general knowledge about the countries of the world, about famous places and people of the era, such as Hogwarts, Dumbledore, and Voldemort.

Calypso listened in silence, her curiosity piqued.

Rigel didn't go into deep detail, but spoke a little about what he could remember. Calypso helped by asking questions sometimes, and in the end they spent several hours talking.

That afternoon, while they were eating in their room, Calypso had already understood this world.

Calypso, now in mortal form, needed to eat again, not that she cared much about that aspect, she already ate every day with Rigel.

However, she seemed to have retained some of her previous abilities, such as shapeshifting, she could be classified even better than a metamorphmagus, who could only assume humanoid forms. Calypso, on the other hand, could change her appearance, size, and even transform into animals.

She could even still communicate with all aquatic life and maintained some control over it.

Calypso, after listening enough, asked excitedly. "So, can I go to Hogwarts with you?"

Rigel was stunned as Calypso's figure rapidly shrank, becoming the size of a little girl Rigel's age, she was slightly shorter than Rigel, but clearly exactly like a child.

Rigel looked at her, speechless. He felt a great sense of incongruity. He thought this was entirely possible, but if he did it, wouldn't his plan to leave Calypso in charge of acquiring materials and property go down the drain?

For a moment, Rigel was genuinely confused, if Calypso went with him to Hogwarts, he might as well keep an extremely powerful witch close by, but even so, Rigel felt that Calypso would be far more useful as an adult.

Rigel frowned as he thought, Calypso noticed this quickly, returning to her normal form, looking at Rigel with confusion and hurt. "You don't want me around?"

Rigel regained consciousness, feeling a headache again, his lips trembling. In the end, he decided to let Calypso decide. Even if she didn't want to and he couldn't follow his plan now, he could still do it in the future, it would just be a little more complicated.

Rigel began to explain to Calypso the plan he had for her. Calypso frowned slightly, thoughtful, just as Rigel had been before.

Her expression constantly shifted, on one hand, she wanted to be with Rigel, on the other, she could be useful to Rigel and even learn about potions and spells in this world with much more freedom.

Calypso looked at Rigel, who just stared at her, waiting for an answer, for a moment she didn't know what to choose.

"I can help you gather materials outside, but I need something in return." She finally agreed, after thinking for a while, she also didn't want to be restricted as a young witch, especially not being able to use magic.

Rigel raised an eyebrow, curious. "What is it?"

"During summer vacation, you'll stay with me, and besides, we'll sleep in the same bed." Calypso tried to keep a straight face as she said this, but Rigel's lips trembled at the clear smile at the corner of her mouth that she was trying to hide.

Rigel rolled his eyes, he wanted to deny it, but he really was asking too much of her. He remained silent for a long moment, Calypso didn't rush him, only looking at him expectantly.

Finally, Rigel sighed and said. "All right, but we're not going to do anything until I'm an adult."

Calypso smiled with evident joy, she was Greek, but so much time with Rigel had made her feel extreme joy for these 'small victories'.

"We can hug." She added, no longer able to hide her smile.

Rigel remained silent, he looked away, this wasn't an agreement or a refusal, but Calypso knew him well enough to know that he had basically agreed. At most, he might complain a little, but that was enough for her.

Controlling herself from jumping on him and hugging him, she finally turned to the question of identity. "And what about identity?"

"Due to the backward culture of wizarding society, becoming a pureblood is the best choice. Furthermore, it's better to choose a more isolated country, one that's easier to hide in case any of your 'deceased' relatives are sought after in the future." Rigel continued, explaining his thoughts. "Being a pureblood will also be very useful for your future endeavors, at the very least, it will make it harder for people to mess with you."

"That sounds good." She agreed, before frowning. "I won't have to stay in another country, right?"

"No, we can simply make you move to England." Rigel shrugged.

Calypso nodded. "I want a house in Hogsmeade."

Rigel rolled his eyes at her, his plan was to buy a castle on some coast in England or Ireland, but seeing Calypso's 'serious' face, he gave up.

Of course, nothing prevented Calypso from having two houses, but judging by her attitude, she clearly wanted to stay permanently in Hogsmeade. Rigel could decide exactly what to do in the future.

That was good too, she could open a shop there, although as a witch village, a shop there wouldn't be cheap, it was just a grain of dust to him.

"Anything else?" Rigel asked sarcastically.

"Yes." Calypso pretended not to notice anything, nodding quickly, making Rigel regret asking, she hadn't waited for him to speak while she was explaining. "My identity, I need to be your fiancée!"

Rigel simply stared at the woman, expressionless. He didn't freeze, he simply felt weary for a moment. Why did this woman always end up causing him problems?
