Chapter 201: The Other Battle

Cherry stood several meters away, her eyes locked onto the Peak Silver before her.

The battlefield had already been reduced to chaos.

Broken trees lay scattered across the ground, arrows were buried in the dirt, and deep scars from their previous exchange marked the earth.

The Peak Silver slowly rolled his shoulders.

Cherry tightened her grip on her twin swords.

Neither spoke.

Then the shadow turned and chuckled.

“One of your lackeys managed to injure my colleague.”

Cherry didn't even look at him.

“They are not my lackeys.”

WHOOSH!

Her instincts screamed.

Cherry immediately crossed both swords in front of her.

CLANG!

The glaive crashed against her blades, the force sending her sliding backward. Her boots carved two deep lines through the dirt.

The shadow pursued without hesitation.

His glaive swung again.

Cherry twisted aside, letting the blade pass inches from her body.

She countered with her right sword.

SWISH!

The shadow leaned back.

Her second sword followed.

CLANG!

He blocked it with the shaft of his glaive.

Cherry pressed forward relentlessly.

Left.

Right.

Downward.

Her twin blades attacked from different angles, but the shadow blocked every strike with precise movements.

Then Cherry suddenly stepped inside his range.

Her knee shot toward his stomach.

The shadow twisted and caught her leg with his forearm.

Cherry smiled.

“Got you.”

Wind Step activated.

A burst of wind exploded around her captured leg, multiplying the force behind her knee.

BOOM!

Her knee slammed into the shadow's chest.

Yet Cherry's expression changed.

It felt as though she had struck water.

The impact vanished almost completely.

The shadow merely staggered back one step.

His expression remained calm.

Then—

Second Step.

His body disappeared.

He reappeared exactly where Cherry's knee had been.

But an arrow was already waiting.

“Gale Shot.”

WHOOSH!

The shadow twisted his head.

The arrow grazed his cheek, leaving a thin line of blood.

Without hesitation, he raised his glaive and attacked Cherry's exposed flank.

“Glaive Stunner.”

The attack came at terrifying speed.

Cherry quickly strapped her bow to her back and met the glaive with her palm.

At the point of contact, a faint silver light enveloped her hand.

“Full Moon!”

BOOOOM!

The collision erupted with enough force to shake the entire battlefield.
