Chapter 200: Reverse Edge

The shadow smiled.

“Then let me show you what this body can really do.”

Robert's eyes narrowed.

Until now, the Elite Silver had only defended himself.

He hadn't taken a single step back.

Every sword strike had bounced off his metallic body.

But now—

His stance changed.

His shoulders lowered.

His fists tightened.

The atmosphere around him suddenly became heavy.

Kael felt the pressure and immediately became alert.

“Robert…”

The shadow disappeared.

WHOOSH!

Robert's eyes widened.

BOOM!

A fist slammed into his chest.

Robert was sent flying.

He crashed into the ground and rolled several meters before coming to a stop.

“Robert!”

Kael rushed forward.

The shadow turned toward him.

WHOOSH!

He appeared directly in front of Kael.

Kael reacted instantly.

“Mirage Step!”

His body disappeared.

The shadow's fist passed through empty air and slammed into the ground.

BOOM!

A huge crater appeared.

Kael was shocked.

He immediately activated Mirage Step again and reappeared behind him.

SWISH!

His sword slashed toward the back of the shadow's neck.

CLANG!

Sparks erupted.

Nothing.

Kael's expression darkened.

He immediately changed his target.

His sword swung toward the shadow's face.

SWISH!

The blade aimed directly at his eyes.

The shadow tilted his head.

The sword narrowly missed.

Kael didn't stop.

He lowered his sword slightly and thrust two fingers toward the shadow's eye.

“If your body is completely protected…”

Kael's fingers moved closer.

“…then your eyes have to be different!”

The shadow's expression remained calm.

Then—

BAM!

His hand shot forward and grabbed Kael by the throat.

Kael's eyes widened.

The shadow lifted him off the ground.

Kael struggled desperately.

His feet kicked in the air.

“Let go!”

The shadow smiled.

“You found my weakness.”

His grip tightened.

“But you made one mistake.”

He pulled Kael closer.

“You came within my reach.”

Kael immediately tried to activate Mirage Step, but he couldn't.

The shadow watched him struggle.

“You can't use your technique while I'm crushing your throat.”

Kael's vision began to blur.

He clawed at the shadow's arm.

Then—

BOOM!

The shadow slammed him into the ground.

The earth cracked beneath Kael's body.

He stopped moving.

Robert slowly stood.

Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.

His chest still burned from the previous attack.

The shadow turned toward him.

“You should have stayed down.”

Robert picked up his sword.

His breathing was heavy.

His arms trembled.

The shadow began walking toward him.

Robert stared at him.

“I'm not done yet.”

Then he looked at his own body.

His chest was still aching from the punch.

He wiped the blood from his mouth, then raised his sword before looking up.

With a serious expression, he said,

“Come.”

The shadow stared at him with a curious expression.

Then—

The shadow suddenly charged.

WHOOSH!

His fist came straight toward Robert.

Kael's eyes widened from the ground.

Robert didn't move.

The shadow's fist struck him directly in the chest.

BOOM!

Robert's body shook violently.

Blood burst from his mouth.

But he didn't fall.

He didn't block.

He didn't dodge.

He accepted the impact.

The shadow frowned.

“Why aren't you falling?”

Robert's muscles tightened.

He could feel the force moving through him.

The impact traveled from his chest—

Into his shoulder.

Down his arm.

Through his wrist.

And into the sword in his hand.

His blade began to vibrate.

The shadow's expression changed.

“What are you doing?”

Robert gritted his teeth.

The force was enormous.

His body felt like it was being torn apart.

But he held on.

He redirected the impact.

Not away from himself.

Through himself.

Every bit of the shadow's strength was being transferred into the blade.

The sword trembled violently.

A deep metallic sound rang through the battlefield.

Kael stared in disbelief.

“Robert…”

Robert slowly raised his head.

Blood ran down his chin.

But his eyes were completely calm.

“You're right.”

The shadow narrowed his eyes.

“About what?”

Robert tightened his grip.

“I can't break your body with my strength.”

He pulled the sword backward.

“But I don't need to.”

The shadow's pupils contracted.

Robert's entire body twisted.

The force he had absorbed surged through his arm.

It gathered along the edge of his sword.

The blade began to hum.

Robert stepped forward.

“This…”

His sword moved.

“…is your strength.”

The shadow tried to pull his fist away.

Robert's eyes flashed.

“Reverse…”

SWISH!

The sword edge accelerated.

“…EDGE!”

BOOOOOOM!

The accumulated impact exploded from the blade.

A devastating shockwave tore across the battlefield.

The shadow's body was thrown backward.

Dust filled the air.

Silence followed.

Robert stood motionless, his sword still extended.

His body trembled from the punishment he had endured.

Kael slowly raised his head.

The dust began to settle.

The shadow emerged from the smoke.

Still standing.

Still covered in metallic armor.

But then—

A crack appeared across his chest.

The shadow looked down.

His eyes widened.

Blood slowly trickled from the crack.

For the first time—

The Elite Silver's body had been pierced.
